Coffee making facilities, toiletries and towels were pristine and the building was in superb condition. A really restful and comfortable stay If I had a single issue it was the car park. I found it stressful to leave a car in it blocking other cars in who might want to go out so moved it to a paid car park during the day. But having said that it was great to have somewhere to park overnight. I appreciate the restrictions of the space and it is dealt with well. Overall I would really recommend this hotel and will hopefully return soon. I know the dining room is being refurbished and look forward to breakfast in the future! "

- "This property is ideally located to the centre of Bridport (around a 12 minute walk) and parking couldn't be easier along the road next to the house. We were delighted to find lots of little extras in our room which was the 'Denim' Room (the large room with ensuite). These included bread, milk, eggs, butter & jam to set us up for breakfast and a lovely touch of some wine & choccies to welcome us on our arrival! The cleanliness of the room was of the highest standard and we found the whole place peaceful - there are three letting rooms, all accessed by a separate front door to the owners side of the house & you have a key to lock the front door. Maybe we were lucky that we had quiet fellow travellers in the other room when we stayed but it's a good idea that children aren't allowed to stay here as the landing area could be problematic. Telly remote didn’t work – we went to get batteries No live TV – difficult when we wanted to watch the Olympics The chest of draws were broken Freezer draws broken No microwave – although it lists one Although we got in touch with landlord upon arrival, he agreed he would get the door handle and plug for the bath fixed the next day. Only the door handle was attempted to be fixed but it was stuck in the open position – quite concerning from a safety point of view. A bath plug did get brought to us 4 days after arrival but we had already gone out to buy one. On the second day when we tried to back in touch with the landlord he had gone radio silence. As a side note, but outside of his control, the apartment was very noise from the adjust road which ended up waking our daughter up a couple of times a night. The above are all basics and they were done badly. We were really impressed with Christchurch though – would recommend that! "

- "The owners were friendly, and attentive, but the property I felt was too expensive for what it was, there was no shower gel or anything in the bathrooms. There wasn’t a bin bin bag to collect rubbish. There were cobwebs and number of Rooms the black leather sofa was old and worn out and not very comfortable so although the setting was nice it did look like somewhere that the owners were trying to get out of as they told us there were selling up. The apartments were not somewhere you wanted to spend more than one night in our opinion and for well over £300 for one night, it was overpriced. "

We take care of washing your mugs —just leave them in the pink cleaning box outside your room and we’ll clean up! For longer-term stays (5 days +), kitchen access can be pre-arranged but please mention this when you book.

This is a room-only listing with access to a shared bathroom which is situated next to your room. The front entrance and hallway are shared, but there are no other Airbnb guests during your stay.

We have a separate downstairs toilet that we use to free up the main bathroom when we have an Airbnb booking. We usually ask guests for a time they will want to use the bathroom, especially if they are working in the area, so we can make sure it’s free when you need it. We’ve never had any problems sharing a bathroom.

We have a 4 year old French Bulldog called Ruby. She is very sweet, and friendly, but she does get anxious around new people and sometimes can be overly excited and bark! We do keep her out of the way when we have guests, and if you’re not a dog lover don’t worry you don’t need to meet her! If you do, she may bark on arrival but that’s just how she likes to welcome people. As she sleeps in the kitchen we only provide use for stays over 4 nights and this must be requested when you book!

Welcome! We are looking forward to sharing our home with you. Our Victorian house is situated in a peaceful area just five minutes walk from the town, beach and the South West Coast Path. Durlston Country Park and Peveril Point are only ten minutes walk away.

Tea and coffee are freely available. Please help yourself to the selection on the shelf in the kitchen. Breakfast is also free for you to help yourself whenever you wake up. There is a choice of breakfast cereals in the cupboard and there is milk and non-dairy alternatives in the fridge. There are wholemeal, white and gluten free bread in the freezer for making toast and there is a selection of spreads in the fridge. There is also a choice of juices. The kitchen and dining room can also be used for cooking and eating your own food or there are a wide variety of takeaways, cafes, pubs and restaurants within five minutes walk. We light the wood burning stove regularly when the weather is cold or wet. We can also light it if you need to dry out or if you want to relax in the lounge. There is central heating in every room. This is set to warm the house first thing during the colder months. You can also switch it on at any time during your stay. A washing machine, tumble dryer and clothes lines are available for you to use or we can easily add any items to our daily wash load. Please let us know if there is anything else you need during your stay.
