Only the door handle was attempted to be fixed but it was stuck in the open position – quite concerning from a safety point of view. A bath plug did get brought to us 4 days after arrival but we had already gone out to buy one. On the second day when we tried to back in touch with the landlord he had gone radio silence. As a side note, but outside of his control, the apartment was very noise from the adjust road which ended up waking our daughter up a couple of times a night. The above are all basics and they were done badly. We were really impressed with Christchurch though – would recommend that! "

Locally you can visit Christchurch with its historic Priory, Monday market and harbour with pleasure boat hire and paddle boards etc (3 miles). A short flat easy walk from Highcliffe beach is Friars Cliff Beach, Avon Beach and Mudeford Quay. Enjoy the ever popular Noisy Lobster beachfront cafe/restaurant/shop, crabbing off the quay, fishing trips, paddle board and water sports hire and speed boat hire/rides.
