The space
Our cabin is a cosy hideaway, a perfect place to come back to after a day seeing the sights or fishing the river Stour or Avon on the famous Royalty, which is a 5 minute drive away.
You can relax on the comfy sofa or sit outside making use of the table & chairs or garden bench. There is outside sensor lighting to guide your way from the secure entrance gate up to the cabin door if you come back after dark.
The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of cutlery & utensils with a microwave, toaster, 2 ring hob & a George Foreman grill should you decide to cook. We will provide tea, coffee, sugar, basics like cooking oil, salt & pepper, and milk on arrival.
Access to the cabin is gained via a locked gate at the side of our house. This will take you through our garden to the private area of the cabin and gravel garden.
We may use our section of the garden but the cabin area is all yours.

Tickets for fishing can be obtained locally at a choice of 2 well stocked tackle shops.

Lovely self-contained, ground floor guest suite with king size bed and private entrance, in a quiet cul-de-sac.
Blue Horizons is a short walk from Stanpit Nature Reserve, and close by are the sandy Avon beach, Mudeford Quay and the historic town of Christchurch, with some great independent shops, restaurants and pubs. Slightly further afield you have the beautiful Hengistbury Head, Bournemouth, Poole, Lymington and the New Forest with miles of walking and cycling trails and free roaming ponies.

The guest suite adjoins our family home, with its own private entrance via the main front door into the hallway. It includes a living/dining room with mini fridge, microwave, toaster and tea making facilities, good sized bedroom and bathroom with bath and electric shower.

A self-contained spacious guest house/studio room. The guest house has its own private entrance through patio doors that lead onto a small patio area with outdoor dining table and chairs. The guest house is located at the back of our large South facing garden and you can access via the side of the house, there is also a fence and gate divide from our garden to the studio offering privacy. Plenty of parking on the road, however, we can offer off street parking upon request.

The space
Our stylish cabin is located at the back of our garden.

We offer a lovely comfy King size bed, a 2 seater sofa which could be converted into a small double bed (upon request). The sofa bed could fit two children, however, it would be too small for 2 adults.

The guest house has a dining table and 4 chairs, drinking making facilities including a coffee machine, kettle, fridge and toaster. We do not have full cooking facilities in the room.

TV, Wifi, hair dryer and ironing board and plenty of storage in the room. .

We have excellent transport links nearby, including Christchurch train station, bus stop (a few mins walk from the house), and local taxis. We are approx 20 mins walk to Christchrch town centre and approx 10 min drive to the beach. Plenty of local convenience shops and a larger shopping centre only approx 10 mins drive. The New Forest is also only approx 15 mins drive.

Guests can access the guest house via the side of the main house, a separate side gate and fence separates you to our family home. Key box for access.

Spacious, quiet and comfortable, the Studio is a brick built, self contained room at the end of our lovely Garden. Sleeps upto 6 comfortably, with room for a cot if required.
Close to Christchurch centre and 5min drive to a selection of sandy beaches!

The space
The Studio is an extra spacious, detached room in our garden. It is furnished with a lovely King Size bed with extra soft bedding, a very comfortable Sofabed and an extra single bed which is behind a partly partitioned wall - so can easily accommodate upto 6 adults or a family on holiday.

The bathrooms are just outside the Studio front door. One is a shower & loo, the other is just a loo. These are for your sole use.

We have a large Garden and we want you to feel at home so you are welcome to use the Garden, any children can entertain themselves playing Football, trampolining or using our outdoor toys.

There is also plenty of space in the Studio to securely store bikes, extra luggage, fishing equipment etc if you are on a more active break!

Breakfast is self serve in The Studio - Tea, Coffee, Milk, Juice, Cereals & Toast are provided for you to help yourself when it suits you.

You'll find yourself a stones throw from Highcliffe golf course. Access to the beach is a short walk through the golf course or alternatively through the picturesque Highcliffe Castle. The village is also close by with many highly rated bars and restaurants. The historical town of Christchurch is only a 5 minute drive with Bournemouth Town Centre a 10-15 minute drive.

You will have a private access to room through a front door. The room itself can be locked. (keys provided) There is a hallway where luggage can be stored.

The Annex is a fully self contained, stylish, one bedroom property attached to Skipping Stones Cottage. With a cool, homely feel, original features and a relaxing vibe. It is a stones throw from the beautiful Stanpit Marsh Wildlife reserve and the historical natural harbour town of Christchurch, with the wonderful Priory and ancient castle ruins to visit. Stunning beaches, are close & The New Forest is 20 mins. Come for the, fabulous top resturants, fishing, live music, bars, & water sports.

The space
The Annex was built in the early 1800's and has a separate entrance door inside the front door to the right half of the house. It is not perfect, but it has a lovely feel and character to it and a home away from home comfort and relaxing vibe.
It has one upstairs bedroom with a king size bed dressed with luxury 600+ thread count bedding; a shower room; fully equiped gally kitchen; living room with an original open fire and a sofa bed ideal for 1 adult or 2 children. Only really suitable for children under 1 year or over 7yrs as I don't have a stair gate.
I give a welcome gift with a few treats, bread etc and usually some alcohol too, if alcohol is not your thing please let me know and I will replace it with something else.

Guest access
I am usually here to welcome guests but if not there is a key box by the front door for self entry. Guests enter via front the front door into a small porch area where there is a separate door to The Annex.
There is free on street parking (subject to availability) on the road outside the house, between the hours of 17:00 - 10:30am and all day Sundays. For the daytime hours I can supply a parking permit, these are limited to 15 a year for me so run out quickly but I can get a short stay permit for a week at a cost of £6 Please let me know your car registration if you will require a permit. There is also free evening parking in the car park at the leisure centre across the road or on nearby roads.

Other things to note
There is building work going on to the house next door. Even though it doesn’t affect our property we have lowered the price until it's finished. It is a house renovation and work is only carried out during working hours.
We have a puppy who is very friendly but you will not see him (unless you want to) as he is in the main house with us.
There is no garden or access to outside space except in the front of the annex. The property is on a road so traffic can be heard.

Set around it's own private courtyard that gets beautiful sun all day.
It has 2 double/twin bedrooms, an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a wetroom bathroom, utility room and your very own 5 person Jacuzzi!
A 15 min walk (3 min drive) to the stunning Avon beach and Mudeford Quay.
Highcliffe castle, Stanpit Marsh, Hengistbury Head, the New forest and supermarkets all very close by.

The space
We are very child friendly and can provide high chair and travel cot. If you have young children our lodge is perfect to relax in the evening with the children tucked up in bed. Enjoy the stars and a glass of wine out in the courtyard, play some of our many boardgames, watch a film or have a relaxing evening in the jacuzzi!
We are also ideal for couples or small groups. You have your own private access to the lodge from the parking at the front and the lodge is totally private.
The Lodge has limited cooking facilities. These include a gas barbecue, a convection microwave (It has microwave, grill and convection oven settings) and a single induction hotplate.
Other than our local beautiful Avon beach, Southbourne beach is 10 mins drive away and Bournemouth beaches are 15 mins drive away.
We have plenty of recommendations of lovely places and restaurants if interested and know all the great places to take the kids!

The Lodge Christchurch is a lovely studio retreat with garden views that sleeps four, plus dogs are very welcome.

The lodge is situated at the bottom of the garden with its own patio area and outdoor firepit.

We are very close to wonderful St Catherine's Hill nature reserve and award winning Bournemouth beaches and it's the perfect location to enjoy days out in the New Forest National Park or to explore the Purbecks and Jurassic Coast.

The space
The Lodge is an open plan, self contained space with a double bed and Futon Sofa bed which sleeps up to 4.

Full kitchen facilities with cooker, electric hob, built in larder fridge freezer, microwave and kettle with tea and coffee provided. The shower room has a walk in shower with loo, bidet and sink.

High-speed WiFi and TV are standard. Off-road parking is available for one car and we also have an electric charge point (charges apply).

There is a log burner (with wood provided) plus an electric heater. Please note whilst children and pets are welcome the log burner is only protected with a small guard.

The Lodge is accessible through the garden - it would be recommended to keep dogs on a lead and note that we have rabbits in a hutch close to the house.

Whilst in our garden, the Lodge has its own patio area and furniture for al fresco dining plus a firepit to keep warm on summer evenings and toast marshmellows!

Access to the Lodge is through its own entrance into the garden of the main house.
