The space
The king sized bedroom has a built in wardrobe and dressing table with chair. The window has shutters as well as curtains for those that like it dark!
A glazed sliding door leads to an ensuite shower room where you will find a walk in shower.
You have private use of our lounge which is directly opposite the bedroom. In the lounge there are tea/coffee making facilities that can be used throughout your stay and this is where I lay out your breakfast.
In the lounge there is a comfy sofa, smart TV, a few books and board games for you to enjoy during your stay. A set of French doors leads to a deck that overlooks a fish pond and front garden.
During the summer months there is a small table and chairs so that you can enjoy sitting outside.
Guest access
You will access the house through the front door of the property.
Immediately as you come into the hallway the bedroom is to the right, and a private lounge/breakfast room to the left. You have sole use of the front part of our home.
The rest of the house is strictly private.
During your stay
We will greet you on arrival to show you to your bedroom and lounge area.
We are happy to have a chat and tell you about the local facilities and attractions and are on hand should you need anything during your stay.
Other things to note
There is a great pub 5 minutes walk away which sells good food and an amazing selection of gin!
The camp site at the end of the road has a small shop and cafe that is open in the mornings and offers delicious pizza most Friday and Saturday evenings.
There is a bus stop at the end of the road which will take you either to Swanage, our closest town or to Corfe Castle village where you will find shops, plenty of cafes and restaurants, the Swanage RNLI station and the famous 12th century Corfe castle ruins.
We share our home with our young daughter and two cocker spaniels. We do try and keep noise to a minimum but you may encounter the odd shriek from play or barks but I hope not enough to disturb you.
