- "Overall my experience was great. I went on a weekend getaway with two of my friends. We met Dean and he was a great host. We were worried that we would not be allowed to check in 2 hours early, but Dean said our room was ready to go. He showed us around and gave us good recommendations around Weymouth to try out since none of us have ever been to the town. Breakfast was included and it was great. I had my first full English breakfast. The food came out fast and it was delicious. Our room was wonderful. We had a seaside view which I did not realize we had until we arrived. The walls were thin to the outside and we got a little worried that we would not be able to sleep because of the traffic outside, but we did not have a problem at all. The town seems to get quiet pretty early at night around 8 or 9 pm. So we did not hear any car noise, instead, we actually heard the waves crashing against the shore which was a nice touch when you are trying to go to bed! Check out is at 10 am, however, our train did not depart until 2 pm that same day so we asked Dean if we could possibly leave our bags somewhere in the Bed and Breakfast while we go explore the town next door. He allowed us to do that, we told him what time we would be back and he was waiting for us outside exactly at the time we told him we would be back. I highly recommend this place. It's affordable, nice, and you have the beach not even 5 minutes away from where you are. Dean was amazing and did a wonderful job in keeping things in order. If you have the opportunity to go to Weymouth, I would suggest staying at A Maiden Rest."

A short 10 minute walk and you are right on the seafront, so this was a perfect location for easy access to the heart of Weymouth and the beach. Breakfast was excellent with the usual cereal, fruit, juices along with a full English or a special of the day. The food was beautifully presented and of a really high quality, especially the cooked breakfasts. Don't be confused by this being called a guesthouse, it is much more than that and if we are ever back in Weymouth this will be where we will want to stay."

By pure lucky chance we came across the 'Lantana' run by very friendly couple John and Sandra who made us feel very welcome. The rooms are super clean and have everything needed for the visit. Breakfast was superb, every day a selection of fresh chopped fruit and perfectly cooked full English breakfast with the best sausages I've tasted for a while. The location of the the Lantana is so convenient with delightful decking to the rear overlooking the quayside and all the bobbing yachts, and from the other side we could see the sea from our bedroom window. We cannot sing the Lantana's praises more. There is so much to do nearby and plenty of restaurants so perfect for us. Big thanks to Sandra and John for making our stay that much more enjoyable."

Tucked away up an unmade track & five minutes walk from a 'secret' local beach; Cove Cabin is a compact, stylish, private space; perfect for a couple or two companions. On the doorstep of lesser known beaches & gardens but not far from Weymouth's bustling scenic harbour & golden sands. Ideal stop off whilst walking the SW Coast Path. The perfect area for watersports, wild swimming, walking, mooching around the harbour & locality, sampling the local seafood & eateries & just simply relaxing.

The space
The seaside cabin is your own hideaway studio space with self check-in, private entrance and your own decked area so you can come and go as you wish but we are nearby if you need us. The space is half of our garden building situated at the bottom of our family garden with a gate from your decked area leading out onto an unmade track. There is a step up to the gate. Your private decking has a table and chairs and a BBQ for your use. Our family consists of 3 children, a friendly spaniel and a cat. We do use the other half of the building and our son often stays and studies there when he is home but the studio space, decking, hall, toilet and shower are for your sole use. There is an interconnecting door between the 2 parts of the building that is kept locked during your stay but please be aware that you may be able to hear him moving about when you are in the hall area and vice versa. We absolutely love living here and have a wealth of local knowledge that we are happy to share with you. There is also plenty of information in the cabin to help you plan some adventures and enjoy your stay. We have lots of walking guide books and maps that we are happy to lend.

Parking is on the streets at the bottom of the track. It is fine to drive up to drop off shopping or luggage (although you may need to reverse up or down as limited turning space). It is usually easy to find a space on the road at the bottom of the track although in the summer and bank holiday weekends you may have to park a bit further away.

The cabin is compact but comfortable consisting of a room approx the size of a single garage with a zip and link king size bed that can be arranged as two single beds (2' 6'' each) if required (please note that the two beds would be separate but still close together - see photo). Please note that one side of the bed is close to the wall so accessed only from one side.

There is a kitchenette at the end of the room so you can prepare simple meals. It consists of a microwave, mini-oven and grill, toaster, kettle, induction hob and fridge freezer. There is a small table with two chairs.

There is a hallway leading off the room with a private shower and toilet.

The cabin is just yards from the South West Coast Path so can be an ideal stop off point on your journey.

The Rodwell Trail runs parallel to the track which is the old railway line that is now used as a walking and cycling route from town to the causeway over to Portland. Although the area is generally quiet, in summer there can be some noise from the trail. On some evenings you can hear the hoot of our local owl in the trees behind the cabin and being by the seaside there are seagulls!

One well behaved dog can be booked. The area has some gorgeous dog friendly beaches and walks. There are restrictions on the main beach. Please bring your own dog blankets, towels and bowls. Strictly no dogs on the bed.

My name is Tim O'Hare and I am the owner of this lovely B&B. The Seaspray is a small, friendly, family run B&B
guesthouse, with wonderful views from most rooms out across Weymouth Bay. It was originally a late Georgian, bow windowed, terraced house, reputedly built for the officers of theWeymouth garrison. We have a high approval  rating of 9.3 on Booking dot com and were awarded the 2022 RECOGNITION OF EXCELLENCE by the Hotels Combined website - both based on our excellent guest reviews.

The space
Room 3 is a comfortably sized standard double room, with an en-suite bathroom. It has a comfortable double bed, free wifi, TV/DVD, tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge, clothes hanging and drawer space. The standard double rooms do not face the sea. This room is nearest to the ground floor, with about 12 steps up to negotiate.

Breakfast : You start the day with an excellent, varied breakfast, with a wide range of fruit, cereals, toast and yoghurt offered, followed by a classic "full English" breakfast or variations on that theme.
The dining room looks out across Weymouth Bay.

Our house dates back to 1769 – one of the oldest in the area – which means some of the walls may not be straight and some of the floors might not be level! The Golden Lion is an 18th century traditonal coaching Inn located in the town centre, just a stones throw from the harbour and the beach. Whatever your reason for coming to Weymouth you can't be better placed. The Hotel has 13 rooms, all recently refurbished and well appointed.

The cottage was built mid-18th Century in picturesque Abbotsbury.

I call this room the 'Chapel room' given the stunning views out to Saint Catherine's Chapel.

The living/breakfast room with all of it's traditional features has a sofa and plenty of books to peruse. Guests also have use of a fridge and microwave.

A French style garden is also available for guests to use when the sun is shining, with several hideaways for breakfast on the patio or an afternoon drink on the terrace.

I can also cook a simple supper if you’ve had a long journey (available Monday to Friday's, booked in advance).

The caravan is fully furnished and is fully equipped, including central heating, double glazed windows, gated decking area, outside dining space and designated parking for one car. Additional overflow parking available, see site signage.

Living area comprising of 2 comfortable sofas, coffee table with nested seating, large TV. One of the sofas converts into a comfortable small double sofa bed.

WIFI is included, but is subject to Vodafone 4g mobile signal. You can also access Free Haven WI-FI in the Mash and Barrel (between 7th March and 31st October).

Bedding and towels are NOT provided, but each bed equipped with duvet an pillows. Please bring your own sheets pillow cases, duvet covers and towels.

Basic cleaning equipment is provided (broom, dustpan, mop and bucket). Cleaning products/solutions/tablets are NOT provided. Please, bring washing up liquid, bin bags etc.. with you.

Guest will have access to the whole caravan. Access is via a key safe, the code will be sent via message before 4pm on your day of arrival once we have received confirmation that the caravan has been cleaned ready for your stay.

Haven play passes are NOT included in the booking.

Play passes are required to use the swimming pools, book activities and access the Show bar. You can purchase passes, from reception on arrival.

Private guest may purchase play passes in advance of there stay if booking a break with a duration of 4 nights Monday - Friday, 3 nights Friday - Monday, or a 7 night stay from Monday, and Friday or 14 night stay from Monday and Friday. Purchasing passes in advance allows you to book activities and swimming session before arriving on the park. If you book an eligible stay you will be sent a link to purchase play passes directly from Haven when we register your arrival.

Please be aware this is a privately owned caravan, and we have no control over the prices and availability of any Haven services or activities.

There are limited park facilities open in November and December, Play passes will not be available during these months.

Please note: Haven will not hire out bed-guards or travel cots to private guests.

The Park is dog friendly and we welcome up to 2 well-behaved, house-trained dogs per break as an additional charge of £30 per break.

Please be aware that Haven will not allow Dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 to be brought on to park, these include Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentina, Fila Brasilieiro, Japanese Tosa and XL Bully. Even if your XL Bully dog has a Certificate of Exemption you will still not be able to bring them to park.

Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.

At Littlesea you are be able to take your dog into certain areas of the Mash and Barrel. Please bear in mind that you won’t be able to take your dog into the entertainment venues, or other public areas, including outdoor pools.
