Ocean Apartment is a Grade II listed building, it dates back to the 1700’s. It has bags of old charm and character, but tastefully renovated into a superb 4 bedroomed apartment situated right in the middle of the town centre and just 50 yards from the beach - it has the best viewing window for watching the world go by up the Esplanade.

The property is deceptively huge, and is made up of two old properties. Circa 1500 sq ft, the living area on the first floor is extremely spacious.

The property boasts original fireplaces and no less than 12 sash Windows. The property enjoys panoramic views up the Esplanade. They can be enjoyed from the armchairs in the curved bay window in the dining room. As to the Lounge which has views down into the town centre.

The property has 4 bedrooms, these are situated on the top floor, the apartment also has the added use of a double of bed in the lounge area. The modern contemporary bathroom (also situated on the top floor) has a large free standing bath situated in the middle of the large bathroom, it also has large walk in shower, along with a wash basin and WC.

The first floor has a large inviting dining area, with bay windows giving you access to views up the Esplanade and into the town. The open plan design leads you into the large kitchen area, this is very well equipped with Fridge/freezer, Double Oven, Microwave Oven, Dishwasher, Washing Machine and Tumble dryer. The large lounge also leads off from the dining room, this too has bay windows. On the first floor there is also a separate washbasin and WC.

Weymouth is situated halfway along the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site on the Dorset coast. Weymouth Harbour is home to pleasure boats and private yachts, and nearby Portland Harbour is home to the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, where the sailing events of the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games were held.

- "Good" - "I booked this property to celebrate my 50th with 7 friends. From the initial booking Louise was so helpful and responded straight away to any queries I had. This property accommodate us all without feeling crowded. The 2 separate reception rooms were great and very spacious. There is just one shower and bath, but this did not cause problems with our party of 8 women, just a bit of planning was needed. The whole property was clean , presentable and well equipped. Towels were provided, but I would recommend taking an extra one as this was quite small and only one per person provided. The location of the property was amazing ! Within a few minutes to the harbour, beach, restaurants and shops. This did mean that there was some late night and early morning noise outside but due to the location, this is expected and wasn't a negative in my opinion. We never needed the car throughout our stay. We parked in the railway station car park for 4 days at a cost of £16.40 and it was only a 5 minute walk away, we dropped luggage off outside the property first. I would highly recommend this property to families and groups and I would definately book again."

If you want to get away from the stress and worries , this is the place to be. Please note that this apartment is in the first floor and will require you to climb a flight of stairs. However the hallway and stairs are well lit and have a good solid handrail to hold onto. Inside the flat there is also a couple of steps up to the bedroom and one down to the toilet room.

- "2 people ( couple) staying for 3 nights. Initial appearance of main entrance hall a little disappointing, however, this is a shared area with few other flats/ apartments. That said, this did not distract from our accommodation up one flight of stairs. Apartment has a very homely feel. Comfortable and airy, with lots of light from 2 windows in main living area. Sofa bed and table with stools. Kitchen area very well equipped for self catering/ cooking and eating. Bedroom has plenty of storage and also provide hairdryer. Shower and sink off bedroom.Seperate toilet. All towels provided. Very quiet at night despite being in residential area. Great proximity to town and beach, 10 - 15 min walk. Several supermarkets close by. Accommodation has dedicated parking spot at rear, so able to leave/ park car for duration of holiday at no extra cost. Great value for money and this was a last minute booking. Owner maintained good communication from initial booking through to departure time which was extended on request. Take a stroll along the harbour to the stone pier, and along the way take your pick at sampling the harbourside fish and chips, or stop at one of the pubs or coffee shops along the way for refreshment.

For cycling devotees, the property is in a fantastic location due to the Olympic cycle paths. The public gardens, coach and rail stations, leisure facilities of Lodmoor Country Park, Radipole Lake and nature reserves are all nearby.
