- "Very quiet, clean studio, with all the facilities" - "A clean and comfortable studio just a short step from the sea. You can hear the waves with the window open (it was quite wild that week!). West Bay is lovely with the iconic cliffs on one side and the south west coast path to Eype Beach and beyond on the others. There are lots of places to eat and drink. I didn't have any problems during my stay but it was nice to bump into Tracey who is very friendly, and I knew I could call on her if required."

Just be sure to wear good boots if it's wet outside- we got into a good amount of mud in the Spittles, but it was worth it for the views. The Ammonite Pavement just past Lyme Regis is a must-see and we found loads of fossils and sea glass on the pebble beaches between Lyme Regis and Charmouth- no tools required. Just a sharp eye. All in all, we were really pleased with this booking. The price and location were fantastic, the owners were very friendly and responsive, and I can't think of any areas in which the experience was lacking. If you come in summer, be sure to bring a bathing suit and fishing pole!"

Apartment 6 is tucked towards the back of Westpoint Apartments on the ground floor. It does not have a sea view but is steps from the seafront. It comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathrooms, kitchen and lounge. There is an outside patio area with seating and recliners which faces west and enjoys the afternoon sun until sunset. There is access to the communal gardens surrounding Westpoint.

Bedroom one contains a double bed. Bedroom two contains a combination of two sets of bunkbeds. . The apartment can sleep 5 people across the 2 bedrooms in individual beds or 6 if the double bed is shared.

There is a fully equipped L-shaped kitchen including large oven, quadruple hob, microwave and fridge freezer. The bathroom provide shower, wash-hand basin and WC.

The lounge is found at the centre of the apartment and provides comfortable smart seating and the latest in 43" LCD entertainment.

- "We arrived on Saturday 27th late around 6pm as check in is way to late. I have no idea why as check out is 9am. What we arrived to was not a place we were happy with, the place stank of dogs hair everywhere it certainly has not been cleaned properly, cobwebs and dust everywhere the couches in front room one repaired with black masking tape the other covered in stains and inside is the bed, the bottom of it looks like never been hoovered, the windows are so dirty all the vertical blinds are broken my hubby repaired one, so I didn't get the back houses security light shining in my face the bedroom had a strong smell of dogs, the sheets had stains on them and the base of the bed, even the sheets and bedding stank of dogs. The kitchen was well equipped even though many items I washed especially the cutlery felt greasy, I was really upset with place but made the most of it. Been to West Bay many times we love it, The George for food is excellent and Rachel's seafood place and fish and chips from the shop opposite the nisa and swimming pool. I never give bad reviews but this studio flat, is small smelly and in my opinion needs so attention the actual complex area is set back parking a nightmare plus you have to walk far from carpark with all your luggage and food shopping. Would I stay here again No we even came home a day early of our much deserved break away after I've been really poorly and we was both looking forward to a lovely break and place we could chill this us far from that we left early as we had enough of the place and uncomfortable beds."

About this space
Our 2 bedroom holiday apartment is on the second floor and sits right next to West Bay Harbour. Everything you need for a perfect relaxing break is within 500 meters or for the more adventurous, the South West Coast Path awaits!

The flat is professionally cleaned and managed by Pass the Keys who operate a contactless check-in system to give maximum flexibility and involve minimum contact. You will also have any communications answered in a timely manner by the 24/7 guest support team.

The space
The apartment is accessed via stairs (there is no lift to the second floor). Accommodation consists of an open-plan kitchen/living area, a modern bathroom with shower, one twin bedroom and one double.

The living area is west facing with views over the Harbour and wonderful sunsets of the Dorset coast beyond. There is seating for four and television with Freeview, there is also a fold-out dining table with chairs.

The bedrooms are on the east side of the building which looks out over a grassy area towards the Bridport Arms which serves very good food and is just a stone's throw from the apartment. Both bedrooms are compact but very comfortable and both offer hanging space and a chest of drawers.

Guest access
The apartment block is right next to the harbour and whilst it sits on the edge of a pay-and-display car park there is free parking for guests/residents of the block on a first-come-first-served basis. If there is no parking available there is a long stay car park just a 5 minute walk away at West Bay Road Car Park.

- "Booked this property because there was a lift, arrived to find the lift was out of order and it wasn't fixed during the time of our stay, my husband is disabled and I have hip & knee problems, we had our cases and bags of shopping + other stuff, and was faced with 2 flights of curved stairs, lucky for us another much younger couple saw our plight and helped take our stuff to the flat. Coping with 2 flights of stairs every time we went out was just too much and we came home early. My husband has a invalid buggy and having to carry the battery up the stairs to recharge it was very difficult. The flat was lovely, linen and towels very nice, needed a little more attention to cleaning, cobwebs and a dirty toilet, a non slip mat for the shower would have been nice. I paid a lot of money for this flat and I am very dissapointed. I feel we should have been told about the lift and given the opportunity to cancel as others staying there had been."

Dog friendly: Apartment 5 has an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen and fireplace it is a cosy, modern and comfortable apartment steps from the sea. With a large double bedroom it is perfect for couples and their pooches who wish to explore the Jurassic Coast. Apartment 5 is steps from the Esplanade and benefits from its own covered external seating area that gets the afternoon and evening sun. Apartment 5 has a designated parking space, wifi and 43" flat screen TV and DVD player. Bedding and towels are provided as standard.
We highly recommend securing holiday cancellation insurance, especially as guidelines can change frequently. Options start at around GBP 20. In the unlikely event of a full lockdown necessitating the closure of Westpoint, we will offer rebooking or refunds as this falls under ‘force majeure.’

For your convenience, Apartment 2 and the Studio can be booked from Friday to Friday, Monday to Friday, or Friday to Monday during the summer holidays. All other accommodations operate on a Saturday to Saturday schedule.

The Duck Wing is a quirky, self contained apartment on the first floor within Plenty Cottage. It's beautifully appointed for a relaxed, carefree stay in a wonderfully rural environment. Nothing is too much trouble. It sleeps two in double bed in a pretty bedroom and has a double sofa bed too. Own bathroom/shower, a separate WC and a warm spacious living area. The pub is 7 mins walk away and the beaches a 5 mins drive. The private, heated swimming is available 1st April - 31 Sept

The space
Pretty, self contained with everything you need. We have ample off-road parking and storage for bikes, equipment etc. You have your own access front door code. Deep in the countryside, it's the land of Peace and Plenty surrounded by The National Trust. The swimming pool is warm in a fantastic poly tunnel(!) and wonderful during the summer months (April to September inc) and the dog/child friendly pub is only a ten minute stroll down the lane. The garden is prolific and peaceful ( dogs love it!).

The front door key code enables you to come and go as you wish and I am here to greet you. The large, abundant garden is at your disposal as too is the summerhouse, BBQ and pool. There's loads of parking and storage space

Other things to note
The Five Bells serves home cooked food too and it's only a 10 minute stroll. We have no street lights (yeah!) but I'll provide a torch. There are wonderful restaurants in nearby Lyme Regis, Bridport and Seatown. Go to The Hive at Burton Bradstock too!

The Hideaway is a self-contained studio flat attached to the Abbots House. With its own car park space in our drive and its own patio within a large shared garden. The studio is fully equipped for two people with a king-size bed, separate bathroom with bath, shower attachment, washbasin and loo.

The Hideaway is in the heart of the village of Charmouth just a 5 minute walk to the beach.

The space
The Hideaway is attached , totally self-contained, to The Abbots House where we live. This is a beautiful 16th century listed building where Charles the second stayed. It was built as a guest house for Thomas Chard who was an Abbot at nearby Forde Abbey in Chard.
The space is cosy with 2 armchairs to relax in and equipped with all you need for your stay. If not, then please ask.

The garden is south-facing and you can sit and look at the garden railway whilst having a quiet glass of wine in your patio.

You are 100 yards from the beach. West Bay has casual /gastro pubs dining. Use the local coastal bus and visit Lyme Regis and other locations. Walk into Bridport on a Wednesday or Saturday morning and enjoy the Flea Market and live music

The space

Guest access
The Old Shipyard was built in the 1970’s and is in close proximity to the esplanade. It is in a block of two stories and the front door is under a colonnade. Access can be gained via two entrances.
-Drive onto the esplanade, there is paid parking here. On the right hand side, find the West Point Cafe, go down the steps , the garden is on the left, at the end you will find the flat on right.
-Access can be gained from Forty foot Way. Using the map, find the Old Shipyard Centre entrance. There are various areas to park within the complex which is free. (we do not have an allocated parking space) Walk under the tunnel, turn left at the garden area and the flat is in front of you

Key safe is is a small covered box the right had of the front door.

The Old Bakery is a completely self-contained, separate, and secluded apartment with its own entrance, located off the street and at the back of our house. Walking distance from Bridport town centre, it is a perfect haven for a relaxing break.

The space
The flat will surprise you with its lovely sense of space. The garden room faces due east and is light and sunny - perfect for a morning yoga practice (mat provided)! It also has a single day bed, an extra single mattress to put down on the lounge floor, a dining table, and satellite TV. There is a small, completely separate bedroom with a comfortable king-sized bed, plus a bathroom (bath and shower) and a spacious, fully equipped open-plan kitchen: electric cooker with extractor hood, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge and radio, plus another small dining table. There isn't a washing machine but if you are staying for a week or longer we can arrange for you to use the one in the main house. There are washing lines in our yard for drying clothes or wet camping gear, and a safe place to put bicycles overnight.
We can provide an airbed to put down on the lounge floor if you want to bring a fifth guest, and we also have a travel cot and a high chair for very small children.
All bed linen and towels are provided.
There is a good wifi connection throughout the flat, and a mobile phone signal (depending on network) but no land-line telephone.
The French windows face onto the small garden area/patio, which has an outdoor table and two chairs. The garden is fenced off from the main house garden so any visiting dogs will be safe and contained.

Guest access
The flat is accessed via a locked passageway to the side of the our house. It is situated off street and behind/adjoined to the main house, and is a totally separate and self-contained property. We have a studio space above the flat which is not for guest use, and accessed via an external staircase. I will sometimes be working up there on my stained glass, but only during the day.
To check in you will need to ring the doorbell at 126 North Allington - my husband Will or I will greet you, show you the way in. and give you the keys.
If there is no parking space outside the house when you arrive, it is best to pull up on the pavement opposite while you unload and check in, and then we can show you on a map where the nearby parking options are.

Other things to note
We have two lively border collies and five cats, all of whom are very friendly and curious about visitors. They love to say hello, but you don't need to allow them access to the Bakery. However, they will go to and fro past your door from time to time to get to their part of the garden.

The space
We have made every effort to make the apartment accommodation as flexible as possible, there is a fold out framed double sofa bed (very comfy) which can be easily moved from the living area into the dining area creating a 2nd bedroom. Please let us know if you require us to arrange like this for you.

On arrival you will find fresh milk and butter in the fridge, some bread from our local bakery, a stocked cupboard with basics, such as honey, marmalade, jam, cooking oil Condiments etc. As well as tea, and coffee (inc decaf).

The kitchen is well equipped with Nespresso coffee machine and pods, air fryer, microwave induction hob, toaster and kettle.

Freshy laundered towels provided and quality cotton bedding.

A 42" Flat screen Samsung TV is fitted with a Fire Stick. There is also a DVD player.

In the mediterranean style garden (With Olive. tree) you will find outdoor seating, an outside gazebo bar, a Weber Charcoal BBQ with a supply of Charcoal.

The apartment is convenient for both the town and the beach with great access to the famous jurassic coastline with fantastic walks and things to do.

At certain times of the year the roads are busy and there can be the noise of passing traffic when outside. Townies shouldn't notice any difference !

Our cosy, dog friendly self catering annexe sleeps 2 with everything you need for a short rural stay. The one room, with ensuite shower room, has a double bed, kitchenette with cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, table, seating area with TV, Netflix, Alexa and free wifi. The annexe is nestled between our house and another holiday let at start of the infamous 'Hell Lane' where Julia Bradbury filmed her memorable walk to Symondsbury along the holloways in her 'Walks with a View' programme.

The space
Hell Lane Annexe is perfect for walkers and countryside lovers whether you are arriving on foot or in the car. It's rural, being situated about a mile inland from the A35 road which runs between Bridport and Lyme Regis, yet is only a mile away to a well stocked village shop and an excellent pub in Chideock (you can easily walk it on a sunny evening in around 30 minutes). Go less than a mile further from Chideock and you can be on the fossilising beach at Seatown and yet another award-winning pub right by the shore!
Numerous walks to the coast and countryside can be done straight from Hell Lane Annexe exploring nature and interesting wildlife as you walk. Although the walk higher up Hell Lane itself is presently uneven under foot and very muddy.
The annexe is attached to our house and another holiday let, under different ownership, so you may hear noise on occasions. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a tortoise and some hens.

The annexe is available for bookings from one night stays right up to 4 weeks, we offer discounts for the longer stays and with no price increases for peak periods and no additional charge for up to 2 dogs.

Other things to note
We have two friendly dogs and two cats as well as a variety chickens and a tortoise. Fields surround our house and annexe so you may see some sheep cows and goats from your window.

The Westgate is one of three well appointed apartments in a Grade II Listed 1830s Regency Villa close to Charmouth, Dorset on the Jurassic Coast.

Located just a Paddock away from the Park, the Pad is a converted loft in a detached barn, which offers spacious, bright and well-equipped accommodation.

The space
Located just 4 miles north of the Jurassic Coast (aka Broadchurch!) and under a mile from the local thatched Pub. The Pad sleeps up to 6 people (two double bedrooms and double sofa bed in the sitting room). Enjoy views across the Farm and be surrounded with all your creature comforts.

The Pad comes with its own designated parking and garden area, where you can enjoy watching or getting up close with some of the small-holding’s furry residents or even have a go on the trampoline. Both a highlight according to our five-star reviews.

The pad is spacious and light and has an open plan kitchen, breakfast bar and sitting room.

The Pad is exclusively for the use of the guests, as there are no shared facilities.

Social distancing is very achievable at The Paddocks, as each pitch, Pod and Pad is well distanced from each other.
• The Paddocks is in a rural location, four miles from the nearest town. Social distancing is well respected in local shops and supermarkets.
• We operate a self-check-in and self-check-out system, so arriving and leaving can be done with ease.
• We have implemented detailed cleaning procedures to ensure that our pad, pods and tents are deep cleaned and sanitised before each new guest.
