Located in one of Torquay’s most exclusive areas the apartment comprising of the entire lower ground floor of our home has the versatility of providing seafront and country walks, accessing the footpath to Cockington country park and a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach continuing on for a further 10 minutes to arrive a the main Torre Abbey beach with associated cafes, bars and restaurants.

The apartment is accessed from the parking area and along the external sun terrace, taking in the large level garden with pond. Along the terrace you will come to the undercover outside dining area where you will find the main door to the apartment providing 210 Sq. meters of level accommodation. There are two bedrooms, one has an ensuite shower room with king size bed and smart TV, the second bedroom has a king size bed that can be arranged as two single beds, if required, and smart TV. Our flat is perfect for couples as well as singles seeking an intimate seaside hideaway, and we have regular guests who return time and time again.

We are new to Airbnb, but have been letting our flat to guests since 2015. Our compact but cosy 2-bedroom flat (1 double, 2 single) is in a characterful historic building in a quiet location, yet just moments from Torquay's bustling Harbourside with restaurants and pubs clsoe by. Our flat is ideal for a small family, and is also popular with with couples and friends looking for a quiet seaside hideaway that is close to all ameneties. We have regular guests who return each year.

The space
Two compact bedrooms; main bedroom has double bed and built-in storage space. Second bedroom has two full-size single beds. Separate small shower room and WC. The lounge/kitchen area has a large sofa, and small dining table with two chairs and two extra fold-out chairs. The kitchen area is fully-equipped and has electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and full selection of crockery and cooking utensils.

The flat is cleaned and made up between each guest booking, bedlinen and towels are provided so there is no need to bring your own.

Gas, water and electricity is included in the price you pay, as is free Broadband and WiFi - there are no hidden extra charges.

Guests have sole use of the entire flat.

A self contained annexe for 2 in St Marychurch, Torquay. Minutes walk from charming St Marychurch precinct and lovely Babbacombe. The annexe is a studio flat with the double bed being within the main living space. The bathroom and kitchen are separate and the total living space is approximately 28 square metres

The space
My annexe is situated in St Marychurch, a peaceful suburb of Torquay on the edge of Babbacombe.

The annexe is for 2 guests and consists of,
- kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dolce gusto coffee machine, all expected crockery, pans and utensils
- shower room with wc and handbasin and towels.
- large furnished living space with a comfortable double bed, quality bedding, TV/DVD player, Bluetooth/usb music speaker and dining space. There is a hanging rack for a small amount of clothing.
- high speed internet
- secure storage is available for guests needing to store bicycles, paddle boards etc

The entire place is 38 square metres

Guest access
The place is entirely yours and is totally self contained with a view of my garden from the kitchen ( unfortunately access isn't possible).

Access is via a dedicated front door and there is one flight of stairs to the first floor.

The accommodation is only suitable for 2 people and I do not accept children, pets or long term lets. I can be flexible regarding 'babes in arms'.

There is no cleaning fee, we just ask that you please leave the annexe as clean and tidy as possible.

The Flat has been updated and improved , with led lighting and instant hot water taps , along with a high-quality hybrid type bed ,modern kitchen with induction hob and oven .bedroom has a 32" TV on the wall. The lounge is south-facing taking advantage of sun, and has a click clack sofa/double bed , a desk + high quality office chair, smart 42" TV plus thermostat controlled electric heater, fibre Internet ,South Devon coast walk shops and Babbacombe Downs just a few minutes away.

The space
the flat has one lounge with dining table at one end , one kitchen , one double bedroom, one toilet and one bathroom. there is v fast internet 350mb great for streaming tv and remote working. Also there is an outside space which unfortunately is not for people who can't negotiate the large window to balcony please be careful. at some point in future the access will be improved.

Other things to note
I would like to say this is not the place for people who like to party and drink more than is normal , please note there are other people living above and below the flat .

Our cosy newly refurbished garden flat is situated in the beautiful coastal location of Babbacombe. The South Devon Coast Path is accessed at the end of road enabling you to enjoy many coves, beaches, pubs and resturaunts in easy walking distance. Babbacombe Downs itself is spoiled with magnificent vistas that reach out to the Jurassic coastline and eateries within a short stroll.
For weekday workers or pleasure, we are the perfect location to relax and explore Torbay's countless attractions .

The space
The flat is thoughtfully designed to provide you with both comfort and a unique feeling of a 'home away from home' get away. Your driveway parking, private entrance, indoor and outdoor space gives you the freedom to relax and enjoy your visit.

Guest access
Our guests access the garden flat through their own entrance via the side of the main building. The flat entrance is adjacent to a patio that is allocated to the flat, the patio has its own seating and dining area in our private garden.

Other things to note
During the Covid-19 realise all our pubs and Resturants will be closed, only take-away food is available via collection or delivery to the home address. We will put together a list of place available to order from to make stay stress free.

A BBQ can be made available to you if you wish to do any outside cooking. Please give us advance heads up.
We offer a welcome starter breakfast. Milk and bread with butter and jam portions. Some cereal too. Tea and coffee with sugar too.

Please let us know if your wish something special in your flat on arrival and we will prepare that special surprise for you. Whether it is a bottle of bubbly and fine wine chilling, box of chocolates or beautiful bouquet of flowers. This can be arranged in advance before you arrive.
