A spacious first floor apartment with a master bedroom with en-suite (including whirlpool bath) and a second bedroom with double bed. Two sofa beds in the lounge for additional guests.
There is a separate shower room which includes washing and drying machines, toilet and basin. The lounge is very spacious with fabulous views towards Thurlestone Sands, Thurlestone Rock and rolling countryside at the rear. There is a dining area with room to seat 6.
The apartment building is set within around 4 acres of grounds, and includes dedicated car park. It is a very quiet location from which to relax.
Thurlestone is a pretty village with thatched houses, and village church. The flat is 5 minutes walk from the local pub, and Thurlestone Village Store and Post Office. Four excellent beaches are all within walking distance.
It is great for walkers, with direct access to South West Coastal footpath and local dog friendly beaches.
The flat is located around 8 miles from Salcombe and 4 miles from Kingsbridge.

Ideal retreat for 2 people. Woodpeckers has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard with underfloor heating throughout and a secluded patio garden. The covered private entrance is easily accessed from the parking area and leads into spacious but cosy accommodation. Situated in a quiet area only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Town and 15 minutes to the picturesque estuary. Kingsbridge has many interesting independent shops and excellent restaurants and pubs. It is ideally positioned to explore the South Hams, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. There are many lovely sandy beaches nearby and the coastal walks are spectacular. There is a very good bus service from the quayside which is ideal for walkers and those who wish to let the bus “take the strain”. If you are into sports, there are good local golf courses nearby, paddle boarding on the estuary and plenty of places to fish. There is a leisure centre in the town and local tennis courts.

It is situated a stone’s throw from the glorious Bigbury Beach with its soft sands, rock pools and tidal island and in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty next to the South West Coast Path.
Relax on the comfortable window seat and private south-west facing balcony and enjoy spectacular views out to sea and of beautiful Burgh Island with the iconic art deco Burgh Island Hotel and the 14th century Pilchard Inn.
The apartment has recently been newly furnished and refurbished with modern kitchen and bath/shower rooms, oak Karndean flooring, spotlights and restyling of interiors throughout. Super soft throws, cushions and high quality furnishings help provide that all important home from home luxury comfort and complimentary WiFi is provided. There is allocated parking for one car with additional guest parking if required.
The apartment is perfect for any time of year. Set right on the beach in the beautiful village of Torcross, At The Beach is a collection of lovely apartments overlooking the three mile stretch of shingle and crystal clear waters of the bay beyond.
Arranged over two floors, 19 At The Beach is a taste of contemporary coastal living, with a spacious interior and stylish furnishings lending a luxurious feel to the property. Upstairs the large living / dining area is a welcoming space with angled walls that give an architectural flair to the room, and large windows at opposite ends basking the floor in natural light. A small window bench with sea glimpses makes the perfect reading nook or a great place to enjoy that first morning coffee, and a pair of tan leather sofas invite evenings of relaxation and socialising. Situated on the ground floor, the well-laid out kitchen is amply equipped for whipping up anything from a full English to a roast dinner, and a range of appliances and utensils make for a fuss-free stay that feels just like home. Sleeping four guests, the master bedroom is furnished with a solid oak-frame double bed as well as a comfy armchair and is located on the ground floor with one of the sofas in the living room converting to a double bed for additional sleeping.

- "The appeal of this property initially was the balcony with superb views across the Kingsbridge estuary, the allocated parking and the location of pubs and restaurants within walking distance of lovely Kingsbridge. We were not disappointed, despite the changeable weather, our stay was wonderful due to the beautiful (and comfortable) accommodation within easy access of great towns for shopping, beautiful old villages and several gorgeous beaches and coastal walks. The Crab Quay Inn, almost next door, was a great place to eat and drink by the water's edge whilst watching the paddle board lessons. The bus station in Kingsbridge was an added bonus operating 7 days a week for convenient travel. Highlights for us were Totnes market, Dartmouth with its river cruise, Salcombe, Hope Cove and Bigbury on Sea where you could walk to Burgh Island (haunt of Agatha Christie) for a pint at the famous Pilchard Inn or afternoon tea at the famous art deco hotel as seen in 'Poirot' on TV. Overall, a brilliant holiday. Highly recommend!"

Accommodation flows seamlessly from the bedroom, along the hallway to the open plan living space offering privacy in a prime location. The bedroom has views over the rooftops of Hope Cove and the rolling Devon countryside. Furnished with a cool rustic vibe with a king size bed and double built in wardrobes with plenty of hanging space. Heading further down the hallway to the bathroom; a fusion of modern vintage; the bath has a contemporary black paned screen and large brass rain shower head and the statement encaustic style tiled floor completes the look.
The hallway opens up into a bright open plan living space with a smart kitchen area, well equipped with high spec appliances by Neff, Nespresso coffee machine and DeLonghi kettle and toaster. The hedge is quite high outside the apartment so no direct sea view, although you can see down to the harbour to the left, maybe they might cut the hedge down a little... As not really private from the path anyway further up and a hole in the hedge to the left, and i am sure the sea in the distance would be a big plus to the groundfloor apartments. But, we had a wonderful time, Hope Cove is always a favourite."

The only thing i think the flat needs is a small over bath airer as i swim daily and struggled with drying my towles and swimwear.apart for that little suggestion it was perfect. It has hoover which i used daily, creM carpets, and had everthing one could need even tea bags, shower gel, cleaning products , so i left it spotless. Thank you it was a perfect stay for 7 days."

Secret Spot is part of our wood clad beach house with its own distinct style. Through the front garden you enter by a private door. The kitchenette opens into a generous comfy bedroom with king size bed. The new refurbishment includes a white shower room with basin and loo. There is a small table for breakfast and a settee for chilling in the bedroom.
Your welcome pack will include the essentials: tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, eggs, wine..... And washing up liquid, tea towels, loo rolls etc are provided...
With 3 miles of beach on the doorstep, in a nature reserve setting, this is a perfect South Hams haven for beach lovers and coastal walkers.
You are walking distance from Torcross square were you can feed the ducks on Slapton Ley , then walk over to the famous sea wall and left to enjoy fish and chips at the Start Bay Inn, pizzas at the Boathouse and coffee and ice creams at the Sea Breeze Cafe. Walk over the hill or along the beach at low tide for local seafood at Britannia at The Beach reopens in Spring...or try the Cricket Inn at Beesands.
Stokeley Farm Shop and cafe is one mile up the road and 3 miles towards Kingsbridge is Ashby's Easy Stores "emporium" selling just about everything.....and fuel!
And for the walkers try the coast path to Start Point Lighthouse the viewers are Fantastic.
If you want to get in the car or catch the bus, Kingsbridge is 6 miles away and Dartmouth 8 miles up the coast.

Piers Lodge is a charming, thoughtfully furnished little studio tucked along the road between Salcombe and Thurlestone. It’s the perfect base for exploring both of these lovely seaside spots, with their beautiful beaches and the stunning South Hams coastline just a short drive away. After a day out, guests can unwind on the peaceful decked area and soak up the countryside views.
Other things to note
Inside, the property has a spiral staircase, which is something to be aware of if you’re travelling with young children – we can’t provide a stairgate as there are no suitable fixing points to install one. For the same reason, the stairs may not be suitable for elderly guests or anyone with limited mobility.
We’re currently having our garden fencing replaced over the summer, so the outdoor space isn’t fully secure just yet. If you’re bringing a dog, please keep an eye on them while outside, as there may be places they could sneak through.
