The apartment building is set within around 4 acres of grounds, and includes dedicated car park. It is a very quiet location from which to relax.

Thurlestone is a pretty village with thatched houses, and village church. The flat is 5 minutes walk from the local pub, and Thurlestone Village Store and Post Office. Four excellent beaches are all within walking distance.

It is great for walkers, with direct access to South West Coastal footpath and local dog friendly beaches.

The flat is located around 8 miles from Salcombe and 4 miles from Kingsbridge.

Ideal retreat for 2 people. Woodpeckers has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard with underfloor heating throughout and a secluded patio garden. The covered private entrance is easily accessed from the parking area and leads into spacious but cosy accommodation. Situated in a quiet area only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Town and 15 minutes to the picturesque estuary. Kingsbridge has many interesting independent shops and excellent restaurants and pubs. It is ideally positioned to explore the South Hams, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. There are many lovely sandy beaches nearby and the coastal walks are spectacular. There is a very good bus service from the quayside which is ideal for walkers and those who wish to let the bus “take the strain”. If you are into sports, there are good local golf courses nearby, paddle boarding on the estuary and plenty of places to fish. There is a leisure centre in the town and local tennis courts.

It is situated a stone’s throw from the glorious Bigbury Beach with its soft sands, rock pools and tidal island and in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty next to the South West Coast Path.

Relax on the comfortable window seat and private south-west facing balcony and enjoy spectacular views out to sea and of beautiful Burgh Island with the iconic art deco Burgh Island Hotel and the 14th century Pilchard Inn.

The apartment has recently been newly furnished and refurbished with modern kitchen and bath/shower rooms, oak Karndean flooring, spotlights and restyling of interiors throughout. Super soft throws, cushions and high quality furnishings help provide that all important home from home luxury comfort and complimentary WiFi is provided. There are a range of quality gadgets available to use including a nespresso coffee machine.

The pleasant dining area has table and chairs to seat 4 and looks out through sliding doors, across the balcony and to the splendid views beyond.

The spacious lounge is furnished to a very high standard with two comfortable sofas and an upholstered window seat, with plump scatter cushions and throws. Entertainment needs are taken care of with a wall mounted 55” OLED Panasonic flat screen smart TV with UK free-sat channels, and Panasonic Blu Ray DVD player. A DVD library is provided together with a supply of board games and books for those days of inclement weather or for cosy nights in.
