Sadly the pub and coffee shop were being refurbished and the shop is quite limited, but we enjoyed walking down to the ferry and crossing over to Dartmouth. No shortage of places to shop/eat there. We couldn’t get off street parking, but parked for the week in the Marina car park, right opposite the flat - approx £45 and no hassle - would recommend. Gorgeous flat - wonderful stay."

The Bolthole is a compact cosy detached studio nestled in the valley in the heart of Kingswear just above the River Dart and Waterhead Creek which can be seen from the garden terrace. Perfect location for the coastal path and with no hills to climb the pub, cafe and ferries to Dartmouth are just 5 minutes walk away. Recently developed using carefully selected reclaimed materials mixed with all the modern comforts to complement. It is located in front of The Loft apartment and has a lovely little private garden with some views of the river from the decked area. The idea and inspiration was to create a hidden space to escape to and the perfect base to explore South Devon & Cornwall. "The Annexe" is a self-contained annexe, located in the back garden of a private family home in a quiet South Hams village close to Dartmouth. Stoke Fleming is located on the SouthWest Coast Path, and is the perfect place for a relaxing break and a great base from which to explore this lovely part of the world. This well- equipped holiday home is perfect for couples, single travellers, or families with a young child. The Annexe is dog friends, and there is a small private courtyard, and an allocated parking space closeby.

Guest access
Guests come up a private driveway to the rear of our house, and in through our back garden gate, and then The Annexe is immeidately to the left. Guests are given access to a key safe in their own private courtyard and have their own separate entrance to The Annexe and can enjoy complete privacy for the duration of their stay. There is an allocated private parking space for The Annexe about 20 yards away in a private car park (less than 1-minute walk) and cycle storage if required.

Interaction with guests
"The Annexe" is a completely self-contained detached property but very close to our house, effectively in our garden, so although you are completely separate and left to enjoy your stay in privacy, we are usually not too far away should you have any questions, and are always happy to help if we can!

Other things to note
The bedroom of "The Annexe" backs onto our garden so in the summer we may be out there sometimes enjoying the sunshine (we hope!) but we would keep noise to a minimum and would not be out there after 10pm at the very latest.
"The Annexe" is close to the village church (you look out onto it from the bedroom window) and the church bells do chime regularly on the quarter hour, so if you are a very light sleeper this may disturb you, and may not be the property for you.
We will accept very well-behaved dogs only but they are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedroom. They cannot be left unattended in "The Annexe" at any time.

Bring the whole family to this fantastic chalet with lots and lots of room for family fun. A really spacious home with large outside deck for dining or just relaxing. With 2 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms, it can sleep up to 6 if including the sofa bed and can be rented with the 1 bed chalet next door. So bring the kids and the grandparents and there is a space for everyone or if you`re a group of friends, this place has it all.

The large decked area runs along the front of both chalets with a dining area and space to relax. In through the double sliding doors into the open plan dining/kitchen area. On the left is the open large living space with tv and sofa bed and on the right is access to the bedrooms and the two shower rooms.

Dartmouth is dog-friendly with shops often opening their doggy biscuit barrels for visiting furry friends.

Stagecoach provide a bus service directly from Dartmouth (bus stops are less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment, and also from Kingswear.

Enter from the pedestrianised slipway that runs between Bayards Cove and Newcommen Road. You will love my bright beautiful flat with parking. Located in the beautiful Devon village of Stoke Fleming on the edge of historic Dartmouth.
Fully equipped including wood burner (cosy nights,great location all year round). Absolutely stunning walks on your doorstep. Award winning Blackpool sands beach only 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive, countless other beautiful beaches are close by.
The village has a great pub, shop and restaurant, close by there is a Sainsbury’s & Lidls supermarket.

The space
A spacious one bedroom apartment with extra mezzanine space. The mezzanine has a double comfortable foam fold out bed, suitable for children or agile adults, with restricted head space please see photos. Close to beautiful beaches and countryside in a lovely village location.
The bedroom has a comfy king size bed with a John Lewis mattress, bedside cabinets with drawers and beautiful bedside lamps. There is also a large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and storage space. All the curtains in the apartment are blackout.
The lounge has two comfy sofas, a three seater and a two seater where you can relax in front of the wood burner and maybe watch a film on the smart TV with access to Netflix and all apps or play a game.
The kitchen has everything you need, pots, pans, plates and cutlery etc.
There is oil, salt, pepper, tea & coffee, whatever you use please replace.
There is a fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster.
The breakfast bar area has 4 stools.
Nest of tables for games or drinks.
The bathroom has a bath, shower, sink and toilet. There is a small store room off the bathroom with a washing machine.

(Just to note there is some building work going on at the campsite next door- it only be seen from bedroom window- not the lounge with the sea view- it’s not been an issue with any guests)

GUEST ACCESS
1. The property's waterfront position means there is no parking on-site, but parking is available and included in the price in the Darthaven Marina, a 30 second walk from the property.
2. Access to the property is via thirty six rustic steps. Please take care on these and at the top by the front door.
3. Self check-in gives you flexibility and freedom. You'll find the key in a lock-box on the wall next to the front door.
4. The internal staircase is quite steep and narrow.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
1. The property will be cleaned and sanitised professionally between each stay in line with all current guidelines and in accord with Airbnb's enhanced cleaning protocol.
2. Considering the present need for extra hygienic caution, we ask all guests to bring their own bed linens and bath towels, as we will not be providing these. We've adjusted the nightly rate accordingly.
3. To maximise the views, the terrace and both garden levels are open to the elements, and are therefore unsuitable for children and animals. We ask that care and responsibility is exercised when using these outdoor spaces.
