Welcome to our Garden Studio - on arrival we will meet you and your complementary continental breakfast will be found in your kitchenette, along with a range of teas and coffee. Our self contained garden studio is attached to our home, a grade 11 listed rope-makers cottage. A private decked terrace adjoins and there is access to our spacious country garden. Allington is located a few minutes walk to Bridport town centre, close to the many restaurants, cafes and bars. The Wednesday and Saturday markets as well as bakeries, specialist shops and supermarkets. Live music in the local pubs and restaurants takes place year round. The Arts Centre and Electric Palace host a variety of styles of entertainment with international acts. Art and food are features of life in Bridport and St Michaels Vintage market is just around the corner. From our home you can walk the river Brid in the direction of West Bay passing the swimming pool and fitness centre, Palmers Brewery and across the field paths to West Bay and the South West costal path, just 1.5 miles. From the fishing port you can take a fishing or boat trip around the Jurassic coast.

The Old Cricket Pavilion is situated in a wonderful picturesque location about 50m from North End Farmhouse and has a small enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. Enjoying panoramic views over the countryside, it is ideal for a romantic retreat for two. The double sofa bed means that the Old Cricket Pavilion will sleep 3 to 4 comfortably. If booked with the Farmhouse, then 17/18 guests can be accommodated at North End Farm.

The Old Cricket Pavilion, formerly located at the Symondsbury Cricket Ground, has been renovated and provides a living/dining room with a wood burner, a 32" Freeview TV, DVD player, sofa bed and dining table and chairs. The small kitchen is well fitted out and includes a gas cooker, fridge and dishwasher. The bedroom has a king size bed and TV. The Bathroom includes a shower over the bath.

The Pavilion is at North End farm which is on Dorset's Jurassic Coast line and there are numerous wonderful walks from the door step. The farm is a Higher level stewardship farm and is great for mushrooms in the Autumn and the Orchard tress are there to help yourselves to as are the wild strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries and cob and chestnuts.

Chideock has great homely pubs and the Anchor in Seatown is fabulous and located right on the beach. Seatown and Charmouth are also great places for fossiling.

The towns of Bridport and Lyme Regis are nearby abound with theatre, bakeries, cinemas, pubs, restaurants, antique shops and markets. There is also the nearby Felicities and Washing Pool farm shops.

North End Cabin is a charming 1 room wooden building with basic but functional kitchen arrangements (2 gas rings), a woodburner, an outside hot shower and a compost loo. The bed is a very comfortable kingsized double. This property is lovely but it is not high but it is full full romance with it's own setting overlooking a lake and views to the sea.

North End Cabin is located on a Higher level Stewardship farm on Dorsets coastline. It is Thomas Hardy country, an area of spectacular scenery, and only a couple of miles from the Jurassic Coast and wonderful beaches. If you enjoy walking or cycling then you’ll be spoilt for choice, with many picturesque walks and routes in this part of West Dorset. Other outdoor pursuits are close by include sailing, golf, horse riding, karting and clay pigeon shooting. You can even go tandem paragliding with Eddie (the owner) on the Jurassic cliffs (there is a additional charge and it is subject to weather conditions).

The nearby bustling coastal resorts are Lyme Regis, West Bay and Weymouth, all offering a wide range of seaside holiday activities, are within easy reach. Whilst inland towns such as Dorchester, Sherborne and nearby Bridport, offer a mixture of history, culture and charm.

Come and relax in our recently renovated super comfortable cabin, with a newly fitted Apple Pie Woodburner. It is set in the grounds of our house under the shade of an ancient chestnut tree. Only 3 miles from Bridport, 5.5 miles from the Jurassic Coast a perfect base to explore this beautiful bit of the world. We love our food, fishing and foraging. Help yourself to fruit and veg for your cabin cook ups from our kitchen garden and orchard, Assorted BBQs, and a Pizza Oven available fishing, foraging trips and SUP hire can be arranged. The Ammonite Bungalows have one bedroom with an en-suite and open plan living room, dining and kitchen area. Each bungalow has an outside seating area with a small open garden.
Just 2 miles away is the lovely town of Bridport which has a wonderful market on a Wednesday and Saturday plus lots of gorgeous independent shops as well as larger stores. Head to West Bay where the TV series ’Broadchurch’ was filmed or to Lyme Regis where you can hunt for fossils along the Jurassic Coast. The bungalow is set just 500 yards from the lovely Eype beach and only a 2 minute walk from the local pub, you won’t have to stray too far if you don’t want to! Beach 500 yards. Just a short drive away you will find the market town of Bridport, with its famous street market, independent shops and restaurants, and it is well worth a visit. If you are a fan of the ITV series Broadchurch, the chalet used in the first series is opposite The Billy Shed, and West Bay where the series was based is just a short drive away, where you can see many familiar sights, including the popular harbour.

There is so much to be enjoyed on the doorstep of this beautiful property, with the coast path heading east and west, and the nearby coastal villages of Burton Bradstock, West Bexington and Seatown. However, don't let that stop you from exploring a little further, with Chesil beach, Charmouth, Lyme Regis, Abbotsbury, Weymouth and Portland all just a pleasant drive away, along Dorset's famous coastal road. For more energetic pursuits, the walk up to the top of nearby Golden Cap is highly recommended, affording wonderful views all along the coastline from this highest point of the South Coast.

Do come and share our beautiful India themed self-catering wooden cabin in the heart of vibrant & historic market town Bridport, Dorset. Little India & Africa (also listed on AirBNB) are set in a beautiful oasis of flowers & plants. Double bedroom with on-suite shower and toilet facilities, fully fitted kitchen (including washing machine, dishwasher, plates, cups, saucepans) and a lovely sitting room with a sofa bed and complimentary Wi-Fi. We sadly can't host Children under 16 or dogs.

The space
Our beautiful cabin is just a few minutes from Bothenhampton Nature Reserve with lovely peaceful walks across the hills and is only a 15-20 minute stroll to West Bay Beach or Bridport town (which has many artisan eateries, supermarkets and lovely shops – where you can find some amazing bargains) and the Saturday morning market has lots to offer too. There is also an interesting mix of arts, culture and of course the stunning Jurassic coastline.

As we have another cabin (Little Africa) which sleeps two adults only and open decking banisters, ponds and gravel garden areas we do not offer accommodation for children under 16.

We offer 3-14 night stays so that we can ensure a 24 hour gap to ensure that the cabin is clean and safe. We are not extending our invitation to dogs at this time as we have three cats and a dog that live at our property.

The Wagon is a a fully converted fruit and vegetable railway wagon which was originally used on the Weymouth to London line between 1927 and 1931, since then it has been turned into a self catering, fully functioning wagon that can sleep 2 adults. The space
Camelia Cottage is a large, spacious, and light. The kitchen/living area has a large dining table and fully fitted new kitchen. The sitting area has two sofas and a 43inch tv. There are two sets of French doors onto the patio/balcony area. The bedroom has a comfortable 5 foot bed, with an ensuite shower/bath. The bedroom has French doors onto the patio/balcony area. There is a barbecue, sofa, chairs, table and a large bench outside on the patio area. There is a fully enclosed garden area below.

Eype Beach sits between Golden Cap and West Bay, ideal if you wish to park your car and spend a week watching the waves and spectacular sunsets. If you want to explore this World Heritage Coastline; our holiday home sits right on the South West Coast path!

The space
Our newly refurbished chalet is on the southernmost edge of an open field and has its parking and entrance at the rear of the property.


On entering the chalet you will have the twin and the king-size bedrooms on your right, both rooms are newly decorated and have new beds and furniture so you can unpack and make yourselves at home. The comfortable beds are made with professionally laundered, hotel-quality linen so you can be assured of a comfortable night's sleep!

To the left of the hallway is the modern bathroom with a large walk-in shower.

The hallway leads you to the bright and airy, open-plan, kitchen/dining/living area with a well-equipped kitchen, dining table with 4 chairs, and living area with two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV.

The glazed sliding doors across the southern end of the property really maximise the wonderful views of the sea from the living space. Through the sliding doors, there is a decked terrace with a picnic bench overlooking the sea, a great place for that morning coffee or a nightcap whilst watching the setting sun to the west, over Lyme Bay.

This rustic cabin is perfect for a family or small group of friends.

There is a master bedroom with a double bed and an upper floor with 3 single beds. Access to the bathroom is through the master bedroom. The bathroom has a gas powered shower and a compost toilet. We provide bedding, hand towels and bath towels.
The kitchen area has a 4 piece hob, desktop oven, fridge-freezer, toaster and kettle. Also in the kitchen are pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, cutlery, cups and glasses.

We have a wood fired hot tub that you are welcome to use during your stay. We fill it with fresh water each time and clean it thoroughly after each use meaning we don’t have to use any nasty chemicals. It costs £35 per session if you heat it yourself and £55 if you would like us to heat it for you!

We host wood fired pizza evenings in our wood fired pizza oven using local ingredients. The cost is £15 for adults and £7.50 for children.

This very charming, cosy and rustic log cabin is located on a private lake on the outskirts of a quiet family farm in North Chideock, just 5 minutes drive from the Jurassic Coast.
The tranquil surroundings make this place the perfect romantic getaway for couples and an amazing place to spend a holiday as a family. Various wildlife and lifestock are frequent visitors of the cabin including our resident heron.

Enjoy a drink on the sun deck and watch the sunset over the fields from the hot tub.

The space
The beautiful natural surroundings makes every season here unique and offers an everchanging view. The flower bed attracts a vast array of different butterflies and dragonflies.
The cabin sleeps four people and features a main floor with kitchen, lounge area with a pull-out couch (sleeps two people) a TV, log burner and bathroom. The handmade staircase is a feature and leads you upstairs to the main bedroom, which has a king-size bed with a comfy mattress with storage underneath for your belongings. From the main bedroom you have a full view of the lake and the fields behind you.

Feel free to stroll around the lake or hang out on the decking area outside, which has sun all day. You can sit back, relax in the director chairs, and enjoy the view of the lake and the surrounding fields while watching the wildlife.
The lake is home to several large fish and gets frequent visits from buzzards, Canadian geese and a kingfisher, while cows and sheep roam the surrounding fields. We have a resident heron called Kevin, we named her after the Walt Disney character from the movie ‘UP’ because of her very sassy nature and she makes the same noise with her beak. She will walk up on the decking area and sit next to you.

The log cabin is an open plan cabin with a main bedroom upstairs with views overlooking the lake. On the main floor is a lounge area, bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen with integrated fridge and a small freezer compartment within. You’ll find electric induction hob, extractor fan, kettle and toaster.
We supply tea, coffee, sugar, and cooking oil. Feel free to use the spices in the drawer. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble dryer.
The kitchen is designed with a breakfast bar with four chairs where you can enjoy meals, and there are four folding chairs and a four-person fold-out wooden table that you can bring outside for your enjoyment.

The wardrobe on the main floor has hangers for your use and next to the door is a clothing rack for your coats and shelves for your shoes.

In the lounge area, you’ll find a large three-seater pull out couch designed to sleep two people. The TV is mounted on a motion bracket to suit your viewing preference. The cabin has a log burner which provides heat and a cosy atmosphere. Some kindling, matches and logs are provided.

The cabin features a spacious bathroom with a large shower and heated towel rail. Towels, toilet paper and hand soap are supplied.

This is a pet friendly cabin which means that you are very welcome to bring your pets.

Private access road on a family farm at the end of a no access road. There is private parking a few steps from the front door of the cabin.
The cabin is located with easy access to several local footpaths so you can explore the surrounding area.

Other things to note
Children and adults should be mindful that there are only natural borders surrounding the lakes, why adults should keep an eye on children.
Please don’t hang on the handrail as the iron bars might stain your hands and clothes. The road leading to the cabin is a gravel road so drive slowly.
