- "First time to stay in Dorset so didn't know what to expect but found the location to be an excellent base to travel from. On arrival we felt relaxed straight away, beautiful surroundings, plenty of parking space, greeted with tea and cake and a lovely smile from our host. Looking back, the tea and cake said it all because everything after that was to the same high quality standard. The room was spacious and very comfortable with ensuite facilities as you would expect these days, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, WiFi, quality bedding and towels, just couldn't ask for more but there was more to come! The breakfast menu was full of choice but everything on the menu was just the best!, quality, quantity and presentation but best of all was freshness and the taste of the food. If you love good quality food then Oxbridge Farm is the place to go to it's a great start to the day. We have done many hotels and B & Bs but this is a stand out experience. - "This property is ideally located to the centre of Bridport (around a 12 minute walk) and parking couldn't be easier along the road next to the house. We were delighted to find lots of little extras in our room which was the 'Denim' Room (the large room with ensuite). These included bread, milk, eggs, butter & jam to set us up for breakfast and a lovely touch of some wine & choccies to welcome us on our arrival! The cleanliness of the room was of the highest standard and we found the whole place peaceful - there are three letting rooms, all accessed by a separate front door to the owners side of the house & you have a key to lock the front door. Maybe we were lucky that we had quiet fellow travellers in the other room when we stayed but it's a good idea that children aren't allowed to stay here as the landing area could be problematic. We were glad that we didn't opt for the middle of Bridport for our weekend accommodation and this place suited us perfectly. Thankyou David & Lynda for a lovely stay in your property. "

- "The owners were friendly, and attentive, but the property I felt was too expensive for what it was, there was no shower gel or anything in the bathrooms. There wasn’t a bin bin bag to collect rubbish. There were cobwebs and number of Rooms the black leather sofa was old and worn out and not very comfortable so although the setting was nice it did look like somewhere that the owners were trying to get out of as they told us there were selling up. The apartments were not somewhere you wanted to spend more than one night in our opinion and for well over £300 for one night, it was overpriced. "

- "2 Driftwood was a perfect place to stay at the perfect location of West Bay. The flat is very new, immaculate and well equipped with all you need for a holiday stay. Only one issue we had was finding the meter cupboard where the key safe was located. This is outside of the rear entrance of the building at ground level. One of the residents advised us of the key safe location and said many other guests had struggled with this. Everything else was perfect and Iwould love to live there."

- "The property is located on a site which includes a hotel and a group of small private homes. None of which is a negative. The area is very quiet, but you definitely need a car. The surrounding area is sensationally beautiful and well worth a visit and we enjoyed our trips out very much. The property itself was disappointing. It looked good on paper, but the moment we opened the front door, it was smelly. The smell was a continual issue. Every time we returned from a trip, it was as though the place had been left unattended for a few weeks. There was a raised area of flooring which seemed to me to be an issue as well. Is this where it came from? We had to open all the windows each time we got back. On the third day of our 5 night stay, we returned and the it smelt strongly of (I assume) sewerage chemicals. Opening windows cleared it, but it was the final straw so we decided to cut our losses and return home. I had a couple of other gripes, but none would have been enough to cause us to go home early. The smell is the main complaint - an air freshener would not have sorted it. All the correspondence I’d had, was from Sykes Cottages, I tried to contact them on their What’s App, as I wanted to let them know. I had no response - not until days after we were home. I asked them for a refund on the final two nights. I’ve still yet to hear about this, but Expedia, although, were helpful but were not able to get this from them either it seems. Not happy."
