A cosy, private space attached to the owners' home with free parking and boasts fabulous views of Cheddar Gorge from the top of the private garden and from the sofa. Overlooking the small lake in CENTRAL Cheddar, it's a minute's walk to shops, pubs, caves and the Gorge. It has designated areas for sleeping, cooking, relaxing and showering. The private outside space is landscaped with a courtyard patio; just a couple of steps up, and a larger patio at the top accessed by a longer flight of steps - views are amazing from here! We supply our guests with a little luxury of the use of robes and a welcome pack with some edible treats. We also supply the basic items such as towels, toilet paper, washing up items, teas, coffees and milk.

The space
The annex is on one level and the main door opens straight into the kitchen and sofa area. Here you can cook and relax looking up to views of the gorge. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a meal and includes washing machine and fridge. Please note that there is no dishwasher.
The bed space, overlooking the garden area, has a king size bed, mirrored sliding door wardrobe and 2 small bedside cabinets.
In between these two areas is the shower room and toilet.

Guests have access to allocated parking space within the owners' drive and the private garden area which is fenced off to give privacy.

Modern one bedroom flat situated in the centre of Cheddar. Ideale place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There are many beautiful walks situated in and around the Cheddar area whether it be a stroll around the reservoir or a more energetic adventure up onto the Mendip hills to admire the view of Cheddar gorge. There are a range of pubs and restaurants all within walking distance of the flat. Bristol and Bath are also a short journey away.

One bedroom flat featuring super king size double bed and projector in living area. Whether it's too relax at the end of the day or the weather isn't playing ball enjoy a cinematic experience on the projector. There is a blue ray/dvd player with a range of films and an xbox 360 with some games. It is also possible to connect your own laptop up should you desire. The property also has its own designated off road parking space.

Self catering 1 bed flat nestled at the bottom of the Mendips. Located in the quiet friendly village of Draycott nr Cheddar. Many walking paths. Village store just a couple of minutes walk up the road. Located at the friendly village pub Strawberry Special.

Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this lovely hideaway in Draycott enjoys a glorious elevated location with views across the Somerset Levels to the Coast. Super local walks with direct access to a footpath leading to the West Mendip Way and increasingly breathtaking views as you ascend. Glimpses of glow-worms and wildlife beckon. Nearby Cheddar, Axbridge, Wells and Glastonbury offer charm and history. Keen birdwatchers will enjoy visiting Westhay and Shapwick nature reserve.

The space
This property was listed on Air B&B for one season in 2018/19, so do check out the numerous full reviews on my host profile, (also some are included in the photos as screen shots).
The accommodation is completely self contained with own entrance and off street parking, and is adjacent to and partly beneath the host's split level property. The annex provides a private hideaway with gas fired central heating and south facing windows to enjoy the far reaching views across the Somerset Levels.
Access to the property is along a pretty but narrow lane and the flat provides ample parking for two cars.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, oven, induction hob, small fridge/freezer, microwave etc; bathroom with shower over bath, good sized double bedroom, living room (with sofabed) and conservatory, small private back garden.
Cheddar and Wells are both close by; Glastonbury and the Somerset Levels Nature Reserve are a 20 min drive. Street offers the well known Clarks Shopping Outlet. Bath and Bristol both lie within a 40 minute drive, and Bristol Airport is 9miles away, a 20 minute drive. It may be possible to keep your car here between stays, for a small fee.
There are exterior security cameras on the property.

Small dogs may be allowed, please request to discuss prior to booking.
Please enquire if you have a child/children as it may be possible to to provide high chair, travel cot, depending on ages.

Please observe house rules, particularly no smoking, vaping, incense burning on the property.

A range of cereals will be provided, together with basic cooking provisions and fresh bread, fresh milk, also tea, coffee and more in your welcome basket/fridge, sufficient to see you through your first day or so. For those staying longer, details can be provided of local shops and supermarkets to cater for most needs.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for group trips. 2 lovely sized bedrooms for a group of 4 adults or 2 couples high ceilings make the space feel even bigger brand new this year to our group of 4 well spaced out apartments. Very peaceful location but short walk to village caves and shops. A great decking area with outside furniture large flat screen tv comfortable furniture to relax in. A bathroom for each bedroom and everything you need in the new kitchen.
