Come and stay in our fantastic refurbished apartment on the clifftop in beautiful Barton-on-Sea. We've named our apartment 'Stones Throw' as it is just a stones' throw from stunning Barton Beach which overlooks the Isle of Wight to the east and Hengistbury Head and Christchurch Bay to the west.

What's more it's on the doorstep of the New Forest National Park so you can enjoy both coast and countryside during your stay without having to travel very far at all. Within a half hour drive you can visit picturesque Lymington with its maritime history, Hurst Spit and Castle, historic Christchurch and numerous beautiful destinations in the Forest with its freely roaming ponies and abundant wildlife and well as a great selection of stunning beaches. You could even venture across the Solent on a day trip to the Isle of Wight from nearby Lymington. If you want to stay put you can enjoy a delicious lunch at the Beachcomber Cafe just over the road or spend your time swimming or just relaxing on Barton Beach.

Our apartment is ground floor and has double doors leading onto a patio and guests have use of the communal garden which looks out to sea. The main living area has a modern open plan kitchen, a dining table with four chairs, sofa bed and arm chair, plus TV. You can see the famous Needles off the Isle of Wight from the lounge window. The bedroom is a good size with a double bed and wardrobe and there's a bright and fresh modern bathroom with a double sized shower.

We do accept well behaved pets so if you want to bring them there is a £22 per pet fee (max of 2).

Bayside is a ground floor. easy access, garden apartment with a sea view from the Garden, and on the edge of The New Forest. It was recently renovated to a high ‘Luxury Hotel Suite’ style standard. Absolutely everything looks like new!
It's in the heart of Barton-on-Sea, just across the road from the path to the beach, the ‘Beachcomber Café’ and ‘Pebble Beach’ restaurant. The popular Cliff House bar, restaurant, hotel, with occasional live music etc is about a 10 minute walk away,
New Milton shops, restaurants etc and railway station is only about 1 mile away.

Bayside is a light, bright modern apartment with quality fittings.
Fibre high speed (60 + mbps) wi-fi internet, with 2 x 32" LED Smart TV's with built-in DVD players, in both living room and bedroom.
The kitchen area has a double ceramic hob, oven, sink, combi-microwave oven air fryer and good size fridge freezer. Nespresso Coffee machine.
A luxury bedroom with double bed, bedside chests of drawers and wardrobe. Also further storage in 4 drawers in the base of the bed.
There’s a Washer / Dryer in a cupboard with more storage space above for hanging clothes, storing baggage etc a hotel style digital safe. Also an iron and ironing board, clothes horse, mop, vacuum cleaner and hair dryer.

The living room has a large sofa which makes a good extra single bed.

Just wow! Holidays are mostly good but Martin & Tuk made ours even better. The apartment feels like a hotel room and a home at the same time, with the benefits of both worlds - modern style, quality fittings (the shower is amazing!), welcome treats... Our 12 year old daughter found the sofa-bed super comfortable and we all enjoyed Netflix and the TV channels when the weather was not good. And we've never stayed so close to the seaside and also a great cafe! Martin was always quick to answer any questions.

There's simply not enough stars for both the location and the hospitality. Martin and Tuk are excellent hosts who go the extra mile to make sure your stay is an enjoyable one. The flat is lovely, everything has a new feeling, and the location.... wow. Honestly one of the most stunning settings I've seen, and literally a stone's throw from the front door. There's also a couple of really nice bars/restaurants within a 5 minute walk, with views across the coast and the Isle of Wight. Absolutely perfect. *Children under 2 years can stay for free assuming you bring your own travel cots. We can provide one Graco travel cot with extra mattress and sheets on request for a small charge of 10 GBP per stay. (Please let us know if you need use of our cot)
*We are dog friendly! We accept up to two well behaved dogs. A small charge of 10 GBP per stay applies to cover the extra cleaning. We also ask that you bring a cover for our leather sofa bed and keep dogs out of the bedroom. (Please let us know if you are bringing your furry friend.)
*If you are just two guests but require separate beds please let us know as we will need to get the sofa bed ready. In this sort of situation we charge a 15 GBP supplement per night.

Recently completed, purpose built self-contained annex next to, but separate from our family home. Situated in our garden, Pebble Cottage is just 400m from the cliff-top at Barton on Sea. Access is via a gravel drive through a gate and into the garden. There is free parking on the road, tv, wifi, shower room, fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Close to local restaurants and cafes this is an ideal base for exploring the coast and the New Forest.

The cottage has a 'beach-hut' feel about it and we have tried to ensure that you have everything you need for a cosy stay. There is wi-fi and Cat-6 cabling so you can work if you need to or just chill and watch Netflix! The toiletries provided are by Faith in Nature so good for you and good for the planet. The garden is shared with the owners and has a lovely sunny aspect, great for breakfast al-fresco or that morning cup of coffee, the decking area gets the lovely evening sunlight.

The lovely studio apartment is situated within our newly built property, you have your own private entrance and courtyard garden. The Studio comprises of a King size Bed, 2 seater sofa, fully fitted kitchen, Including built in single oven and gas Hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and crockery and cutlery, ensuite shower room, Freeview TV and underfloor heating. We are located in a great position just a short walk across the road to the cliff Top with stunning views of the Isle of Wight and its famous Needles, and in the opposite direction Hengistbury Head, Christchurch harbour and the Purbecks beyond.
We have wonderful coastal walks and are close to the New Forest National Park and Lymington, a Georgian town known for its great sailing, shops, boutiques, cafes and popular Saturday market. Historic Christchurch with it's Monday market and many cafes and pubs is within a short drive. We are equal distance between Bournemouth and Southampton. New Milton, Barton's neighbouring town has a main line railway station with fast connection to London Waterloo. There are excellent bus routes to Bournemouth and Southampton and trips around the New Forest area on their open top blue route bus.
