The space
Lawn Cottage is a charming 18th Century cottage in the quiet village of Stour Row, a couple of miles outside Shaftesbury. Set in a delightful English cottage garden looking out over the fields and you can walk from the garden up to Duncliffe Wood . The pretty en-suite bedrooms have their own access, which makes it suitable for the less-able. Guests also have access to the country kitchen, dining room and sitting room. In summer and warm weather breakfast can be served on the terrace under the climbing roses, or relax in one of the hammocks or in a chair in the pretty garden.

The town of Shaftesbury is about a 15 min walk where you will find Goldhill made Famous by the Hovis advert, Lots of independent shops with places to eat & Drink. within an hours drive to find attractions such as Stone Henge beaches bigger well known shops such as Bournemouth Bath Salisbury.

A small kitchen area with a table and 2 chairs leading straight to an open plan bedroom looking out onto a fenced patio area for you to enjoy outside table and chairs toilet and shower room as one room.

You will have access to the fenced patio area only which over looks over our main garden.We have 2 friendly retriever dogs .

Cute but spacious studio apartment on the edge of Cranborne Chase AONB; only 5 mins drive to the historic town of Shaftesbury. 'Bumbles' is the perfect place to provide easy access to a wealth of attractions, whether it be the newly re-opened Compton Airfield, famous Gold Hill and Shaftesbury Abbey, Breezy Ridge Vineyard, Stonehenge or even a day out at the beach! Guests are also offered discount on treatments at the onsite beauty studio, and are welcome to relax in the adjoining orchard.

The space
The studio has been designed to make the most of available space. The king size bed can be folded back up to the the wall (Murphy/Wall Bed), however, there is ample space should you prefer to leave the bed down 'in place'. A small sofa bed (big enough to sleep one adult) faces a TV which also plays DVDs. The bracket pulls out & round in order to be able to also watch TV or a movie from the bed. Hanging space is provided in the wardrobe which also houses towels, pillows, clothes airer, picnic rug and a bag to borrow if venturing out! The kitchen is equipped with the usual things, plus plastic glasses if taking a drink into the orchard/outside. Parking available directly in front of the studio.

Guest access
The studio is accessed by the front door which has two small steps. Should you need level access, it can be arranged to use the 'back door'. Please ask should you need this facility.

Other things to note
I have not advertised this space as dog or child friendly, however, I don't rule such things out! The studio is not 'child proofed' so not suitable for smaller children. Please ask me should you want to bring your dog as we would have to agree liability & also the fact that my dog has access to all areas (except your space, of course)! *One parking space has been allocated, but two cars can be accommodated. Please let me know in advance if you will need more than 1 space*.

Sparrow's Nest is a delightful newly renovated garden studio with terrace, situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Quiet and comfortable, the studio has been tastefully furnished offering Egyptian cotton sheets, luxurious bathroom products, fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine . There is a patio with a table and 2 chairs overlooking the cottage garden.

Bedroom and shower/wash room with very comfortable king size bed. Fridge, coffee machine and milk frother, low level cupboards, table and chairs on the decking overlooking the pretty garden

Other things to note
From time to time, I would be prepared to rent out the whole cottage as well as the annexe. The cottage has 2 double and 1 twin rooms, family bathroom, kitchen, TV with Sky, sitting room with large inglenook fireplace.

Please ask if you want to bring a pet (one small well behaved female dog normally allowed) but I will not be able to accommodate any pet if I have family dogs staying in the main house.

Perfect for 1 or two guests who are travelling or on a business trip, or visiting family and friends. It has a free parking outside for 1 car. There’s a shop within a walking distance, which has a cafe with freshly baked pastries and coffee. All the essentials are available too.
Our village is a short drive away from Port Regis and many more independent schools, famous Gold Hill in Shaftesbury, Jurassic coast, Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Stonehenge, Stourhead, Old Wardour Castle and many more!

The space
The property has a completely separate entrance from the main house. It has a deep comfy sofa in the sitting room, a dining table/ work space and chairs, 50” flat screen smart tv. The kitchen equipped with a fridge, a cooker and a microwave. Tea, coffee, sugar is supplied. All necessary items are in the drawers for cooking a nice meal. If you need anything you haven’t thought of, simply message the host and we’ll see if we can help.
The bedroom contains a very comfortable double bed with cotton bedlinen, feather pillows and duvet. The shower room has underfloor heating and Cristy’s luxury towels. All necessary toiletries are provided too.

Guest access
When you arrive, there will be a single parking space by the property. The key is in the lockbox outside the main house door. The number to unlock will be provided one day before your arrival.
Simply open the door to your guest house and enjoy your stay!

Other things to note
There is a door to the main house in the kitchen area of the annexe. It’s locked at all times.
The drop leaf table in the sitting room has folded chairs inside it.
When you walk in, the lights’ switch will be on your right. There is an additional switch for the kitchen lights under the room temperature control on the left side of the kitchen unit. The underfloor heating is controlled by setting temperature on 2 of the controllers (sitting room and bedroom).

This one bedroom studio is exceptionally comfortable and has a peaceful, stylish atmosphere. It is separate to the main house so you have total privacy and the whole space is yours to be enjoyed. Underfloor heating makes it gloriously warm and inviting, the linen sheets are of the finest quality, and it is in a beautiful valley which has an unusual amount of song birds and owls. It has been designed with peace and comfort in mind.

This is a south facing, incredibly nice place to stay. It has a high ceiling, calm and stylish atmosphere, and is warm and comfortable. Beautiful bed linen, a fantastic shower- it’s a dream of a place to stay. I’m proud of it as I designed it and put real time and dedication into this space, and I make sure it’s in a perfect state before each guest arrives. It’s loved by everyone.

There is an outside sitting area with a table and benches just for you. As you look out of the kitchen window, you’ll see them set up the hill enjoying a peaceful view . Ideal for breakfast or evening drinks.

The Bothy sits on the edge of the idyllic village of Donhead St Mary, near the historical town of Shaftesbury.

Surrounded by spectacular views, wild walks, cycle routes and with the Jurassic coast only an hour away - this sort after area on the Dorset Wiltshire border is ideal for a quiet city break with all the benefits of the nearby local entertainment and good food.

If you are looking for a romantic getaway, city break or a creative retreat, The Bothy is the prefect place to stay.

The space
This space consists of an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with an overhanging loft bed accessed by a ladder and bathroom with towels provided.

Guest access
You will have access to the full space of the bothy which is situated at the bottom of the garden, detached from the main house. It has parking right outside, garden seating and a lawn to use at your own leisure with views of the flower beds. Unfortunately we cannot provide disabled access to the property.

Other things to note
We do have a cat which is sometimes spotted in the garden, he’s very friendly but please try not to let him in to the Bothy space as he may never leave…

Strawberry Lodge is a private self contained 2 bedroom annexe, with a large fully equipped kitchen/dining room, a TV lounge and separate sun lounge, and a walk-in shower room. It has private parking, a private patio area, and a small lawn.

It is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in the pretty and historic village of Fontmell Magna. There are lovely walking routes on our doorstep, as we are situated on the edge of the beautiful chalk downs of Cranbourne Chase AONB.

The space
The Lodge is connected to the main house by an interior door. However, this is kept locked while we have guests and so you are free to come and go using your own front door. There is a double bedroom downstairs and 2 single beds upstairs.

It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including: a television, Wi-Fi internet, washer/dryer, hob, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, slow cooker, kettle and toaster. Bedding and towels provided.

Please let us know in advance if you require use of the high chair and/or stair gates, so we can set them up prior to your stay.

EV charging is available by arrangement for an extra fee.

Guest access
Full private use of the whole unit with no sharing of facilities.

The private parking area for the Lodge is on the right just as you enter the main driveway, it is the paved area in front of the conservatory. There should be room for 2 small cars or a van but please make sure to leave the main driveway clear. Please let us know beforehand if you need extra parking spaces.
