- "This house was perfect for us. I didn’t realize it had a second living area downstairs but that made it perfect for a mix of kids and adults. Everything was clean and nicely decorated, and communication with the owner was good. The ice maker isn’t super fast at making ice, so grab a bag of ice on your way if your kids wolf down ice like mine. We will definitely book there again when visiting family nearby!"

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway on a private lake in east Wichita. You’ll completely forget you are in the city with beautiful lake views from the dining room and master bedroom. The deck is situated under a century-old elm tree which provides shade all day long then treats you to stunning sunset views over the water.

Conveniently located less than a mile from the intersection of I-35, US 400, and K-96 - all destinations inside and around Wichita are only a few minutes drive.

Full remodel completed in 2023 including custom kitchen with quartz counters, custom bathroom with tile shower, and new carpet and furniture throughout the home. Both bedrooms are furnished with queen Purple Plus mattresses and Purple pillows. The kitchen is well equipped with a large selection of cooking items/utensils and a double oven for longer stays.

The private lake is home to a large variety of wildlife. As the seasons change, many species of ducks, wild turkeys, herons, bald eagles, turtles, beaver, and deer all call the lake home and make frequent appearances. The swans are the primary residents and patrol the lake during the majority of the year.

For those interested in wetting a line, fishing is allowed. The lake has bluegill, redear sunfish, largemouth bass, crappie, and perch. There are also catfish, but they don't come up to the dock very often. You are welcome to fish off the dock or along the shore in the yard. If you don’t have your own gear, some basic fishing tackle is available by request from the Property Manager.

The entire home, yard, and dock are accessible to guests, but the detached garage is currently unavailable.

- "Swan Shores was perfect for our girls weekend. The house slept 3 of us comfortably and more than accommodated all 5 of us during our daytime activities. The scenery is beautiful and quiet. Anything we needed was a 5 minute drive away, but we didn't leave the house much, having so much fun on the water. We appreciated the firepit and all the firewood that was provided. Had a blast with "campfire movie night" by the lake! Beds are super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to grill and enjoy dinners on the patio. Will definitely be visiting again soon!"

They also installed a gate for the stairs so we felt safe with our 15 month old. The backyard is great and the hot tub is fun. This home was completely renovated in 2024 and offers three bedrooms, two with plush queen beds and one with bunk beds (one full and two twin beds). The kitchen is stocked with plenty of items for cooking during your stay and there is laundry on site. Separate work space with desk and great lighting on site. Great, convenient location near turnpike.

There is one step up on to the front porch and inside the home the living room, kitchen and bathroom are on one level while the bedrooms and office space are two steps down.
