On arrival we felt relaxed straight away, beautiful surroundings, plenty of parking space, greeted with tea and cake and a lovely smile from our host. The room was spacious and very comfortable with ensuite facilities as you would expect these days, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, WiFi, quality bedding and towels, just couldn't ask for more but there was more to come! The breakfast menu was full of choice but everything on the menu was just the best!, quality, quantity and presentation but best of all was freshness and the taste of the food. If you love good quality food then Oxbridge Farm is the place to go to it's a great start to the day. We have done many hotels and B & Bs but this is a stand out experience. - "Fantastic stay in the Casterbridge Hotel. It was a last minute booking, but that didnt worry the lovely owner. The hotel was beautiful and clean, we stayed in a room with a four poster bed which was amazing. The hotel decor is in keeping with the age of the building and looks beautiful. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful on the best places to eat and things to do in and around Dorchester. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked and local produce, pleanty of choice. - "Overall my experience was great. I went on a weekend getaway with two of my friends. We met Dean and he was a great host. We were worried that we would not be allowed to check in 2 hours early, but Dean said our room was ready to go. He showed us around and gave us good recommendations around Weymouth to try out since none of us have ever been to the town. Breakfast was included and it was great. I had my first full English breakfast. The food came out fast and it was delicious. Our room was wonderful. We had a seaside view which I did not realize we had until we arrived. The walls were thin to the outside and we got a little worried that we would not be able to sleep because of the traffic outside, but we did not have a problem at all. The town seems to get quiet pretty early at night around 8 or 9 pm. So we did not hear any car noise, instead, we actually heard the waves crashing against the shore which was a nice touch when you are trying to go to bed! Check out is at 10 am, however, our train did not depart until 2 pm that same day so we asked Dean if we could possibly leave our bags somewhere in the Bed and Breakfast while we go explore the town next door. He allowed us to do that, we told him what time we would be back and he was waiting for us outside exactly at the time we told him we would be back. I highly recommend this place. It's affordable, nice, and you have the beach not even 5 minutes away from where you are. Dean was amazing and did a wonderful job in keeping things in order. If you have the opportunity to go to Weymouth, I would suggest staying at A Maiden Rest."

The building and our room were really lovely and had a boutique hotel feel to it. There has clearly been a lot of hard work put in to making this a stunning place to stay. A short 10 minute walk and you are right on the seafront, so this was a perfect location for easy access to the heart of Weymouth and the beach. Breakfast was excellent with the usual cereal, fruit, juices along with a full English or a special of the day. The food was beautifully presented and of a really high quality, especially the cooked breakfasts. Don't be confused by this being called a guesthouse, it is much more than that and if we are ever back in Weymouth this will be where we will want to stay."

This is a beautiful room in a shared house the whole house has been newly renovated you maybe on your own or sharing with other guests the room is basic place to sleep but you can use anywhere in the house, free parking 2 mins away but able to pull up to load/unload outside house

Come and overwinter in our Ammonite Lodges; with heating a dedicated parking space and a private, enclosed garden, there is no where better for a long let this winter. Minimum 28 days stay. This room can be used for 1 person or ideally with parents in our B&B Double room. There is room for a cot or mattress for 2 children with a £20 supplement for an extra child or £15 for infant.

My place is close to the historic Hambledon Hill and the Wessex Ridgeway walk. 2 pubs and an Organic Farm Shop within 5 minutes walk!. You’ll love my place because of the neighbourhood. My place is good for solo adventurers and business travellers.

Hawthorn Cottage Bed and Breakfast is located on the edge of Child Okeford (North Dorset) overlooking open countryside and occupies an idyllic position under the spectacular Hambledon Hill. We have twin and double rooms. We are ideally located for business in Blandford Forum or Shaftesbury making it an ideal place to stay if working and travelling in Dorset.

This quiet corner of the North Dorset countryside contains all you need to keep you occupied for your stay. The village has two pubs one of which is only a few minutes walk away and an Organic Farm Shop which is also conveniently close. The walks up Hambledon Hill and in the surrounding countryside are spectacular.

Within 40 mins of Bournemouth (Airport), Poole, Bath, Southampton and Salisbury. Nearest town, Blandford Forum (5 miles) or Shaftesbury (7 miles). Nearest station Gillingham (10 miles) or Salisbury.

We can accomodate your every need and children are particularly welcome. As parents ourselves we can provide cots, highchairs, pushchairs, monitors, playground equipment etc. We can also provide a babysitting service. You have access to a private shower room or a large bathroom.

Thomas Hardy's birthplace, this historic market town has bars, restaurants, cinemas and shops. Fantastic transport links via train and bus. Free parking on street.
Close to A35 which makes it a handy stopover for onward journeys to Devon and Cornwall.

The space
Welcome to our ideally located home in Dorchester! Just a 10-minute walk to the town centre, train and bus stations, and Brewery Square, you’ll have shops, pubs, restaurants, museums, and a cinema all within easy reach.

Your bright and comfortable double bedroom includes a TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and freeview channels all signed in for your convenience (please don’t log out of them, entering passwords takes forever!!) along with a kettle and fridge for added convenience. We provide tea, coffee and sugar, pls bring your own milk. If you won’t need the fridge let me know as I’ll turn off.

We take care of washing your mugs —just leave them in the pink cleaning box outside your room and we’ll clean up! For longer-term stays (5 days +), kitchen access can be pre-arranged but please mention this when you book.

Enjoy free on-street parking right outside the property. The bathroom is next door with a shower over bath, toilet, and sink. Towels and bed linen are provided.

This is a room-only listing with access to a shared bathroom which is situated next to your room. The front entrance and hallway are shared, but there are no other Airbnb guests during your stay.

We have a separate downstairs toilet that we use to free up the main bathroom when we have an Airbnb booking. We usually ask guests for a time they will want to use the bathroom, especially if they are working in the area, so we can make sure it’s free when you need it. We’ve never had any problems sharing a bathroom.

We have a 4 year old French Bulldog called Ruby. She is very sweet, and friendly, but she does get anxious around new people and sometimes can be overly excited and bark! We do keep her out of the way when we have guests, and if you’re not a dog lover don’t worry you don’t need to meet her! If you do, she may bark on arrival but that’s just how she likes to welcome people. As she sleeps in the kitchen we only provide use for stays over 4 nights and this must be requested when you book!

5 berth Brookwood 28 mobile home, situated just off a country road in West Dorset in a usually quiet position near farmhouse. Near the heritage coast the area abounds with interesting pubs and good restaurants. Street markets at Axminster, Bridport and Honiton.
Walking, sea fishing, golf, rifle range and fossil hunting nearby. Sea 2 miles.

The space

There are wholemeal, white and gluten free bread in the freezer for making toast and there is a selection of spreads in the fridge. There is also a choice of juices. The kitchen and dining room can also be used for cooking and eating your own food or there are a wide variety of takeaways, cafes, pubs and restaurants within five minutes walk. We light the wood burning stove regularly when the weather is cold or wet. We can also light it if you need to dry out or if you want to relax in the lounge. There is central heating in every room. This is set to warm the house first thing during the colder months. You can also switch it on at any time during your stay. A washing machine, tumble dryer and clothes lines are available for you to use or we can easily add any items to our daily wash load. Please let us know if there is anything else you need during your stay.
