There's also regular evening entertainment for both adults and children, and a kids’ club.
Chesil Beach is a 5-minute walk away. The beach hosts a world-famous nature reserve and is a favourite for walkers, water sports enthusiasts, bird-watchers and recreational fishers. Portland, famous for the Bill , lighthouse and stone quarries, is a short, scenic drive across the causeway. The Tout Quarry Nature Reserve and Sculpture Park, set in a former stone quarry, has scenic walkways with fantastic views of the Chesil, and is one of Portland’s most popular attractions.
The highly acclaimed Crab House Restaurant is just a 2-minute walk away, and there are many excellent harbour-side bistros, bars, pubs and restaurants and take-aways in and around Weymouth

Weymouth and Portland are a 5 minute drive ( or 40 minute walk) away. The Weymouth-Portland bus runs every 15 minutes and stops immediately outside the park. Weymouth itself is well served by train and bus.

Chesil and Smallmouth beachs are just a 5-minute walk away. Chesil hosts a world-famous nature reserve and is a favourite for walkers, water sports enthusiasts, bird-watchers and recreational fishers. Smallmouth is a quiet sandy retreat, with views across Portland Bay, ideal for water sports or just sunbathing. The park is on the South West coast Path and the energetic can walk (or cycle) the safe and scenic Rodwell Trail into Weymouth. The trail is part of National Cycle Route 26 , on which and you can cycle the 15 miles from Portland through Weymouth and onto Dorchester ( the county town) without needing to touch main roads.
