- "Tucked away beside the assembly hall, this is a fantastic location, rooms were spotless, with a comfortable bed and fresh quality linen and towels, there's also use of a kitchen, it's self check in which was effortless, so handy if you're arriving late. Points to note, there's stairs to the room (2 flights) as you're on the high street near the pubs and monument there is noise at night, as you'd expect from the location. We stayed in Tufted Owl overlooking the High Street - a bit ‘rumbly’ if a big vehicle went past, but there’s very little traffic in town at night. The noise didn’t affect me at all. Luxury 18ft yurt at the base of Chalice Hill, Glastonbury coupled with a fully insulated log cabin with kitchen, dining area and bathroom including shower facilities. This is truly a unique experience only a few minutes walk from Glastonbury Tor, Chalice Well Gardens, The Abbey and High Street.

The yurt is pitched in the garden of St Anne's Bed & Breakfast and is an ideal place for a quiet retreat or as a base when visiting Glastonbury (we are situated fairly near a main road so you may be aware of traffic noise from the A361 during the day). At night you may hear owls and during the day the view onto Chalice Hill is beautiful, peaceful, and inhabited only by sheep. In summertime there is a small private secluded sitting area adjacent to the yurt and log cabin with unobstructed view of Chalice Hill, for your exclusive use. Guests can also access the main garden which is a shared space and is shown in our photos with a Buddha statue by the pond.

The yurt has a king sized double bed and twinkling lights, and is extremely cosy with it's own log burning stove, hot water bottles and comfortable throws. The yurt is insulated in true Mongolian style with sheep's wool, and lined with cotton, which makes it warm and comfortable even on the coldest of nights. The floor is covered in Authentic Indian dhurries in keeping with the beautiful Indian themed décor.

The stove was created by local artisan and a firewood is available at £10 per large basket (first basket free of charge). There is electric power for lights, and small electrical appliances. Comfortable settee and chairs, dressing table/ writing desk/reading light. Optional Wi-Fi available, at no additional cost.

The log cabin completes the accommodation and is only a few steps away from the Yurt and is equipped for simple self catering. It comprises shower room with electric shower, hot and cold wash basin and WC, kitchen diner with hot and cold water, worktop space, full size fridge with freezer compartment.

Beautiful and tranquil, the house is only 12 mins walk to the High St. Inside, my house is pretty, and feels peaceful. People often say they’ve had the best night’s sleep in ages.

Please be aware check in time is 6pm.

The space
There's something delightful about my house. Its very bright and deeply peaceful. Being a little bit above Glastonbury town, it has a very light, gentle energy.
Most of the windows face south, and we're on a hill, so we get a lot of sunshine.
Your bedding is all 100% cotton, for that 'home from home' feeling.
I've decorated almost the whole house over the last 5 years. Its very pretty.

My cat Simba is gentle and friendly.

The house is thoroughly cleaned between each booking. The cleaning products in the house are all nontoxic and eco friendly. The laundry soaps are also nontoxic and eco friendly, meaning bedding and towels have a much softer fragrance than usual. I also do regular energy clearings of the house, to keep it fresh.

The garden is somewhat wild, with occasional sightings of hedgehogs and many birds.

Guest access
Guests are very welcome in the living room, kitchen, and garden.

You're welcome to use the kitchen. Breakfast is 'help yourself'. During Check In, I'll show you around the kitchen, and then I encourage you to feel comfortable to use the kitchen as it suits you. During your stay, you can use the kitchen to prepare your own food, and have use of a shelf in the fridge, useful for longer stays.

Once you've made your food or tea or breakfast, you are also very welcome to sit in the living room, and eat in a relaxed way. You are very welcome to sit in the living room and hang out or read, or what you feel like.

You're also welcome to sit in the back garden, which is often gloriously sunny, quite wild, and very special.

During your stay
I am happy to chat and tell you about the hidden gems of Glastonbury. I'm also happy to give you your space.
I live with my cat Simba. This is a traditional Airbnb, a room to stay in my home.
So sometimes, I'm busy with things, as I work from home.
Sometimes I give treatments from home, shiatsu massage or Starlight Energy Healing.
At these times, I ask that guests are considerate of noise when clients come to the house. I give my guests plenty of notice about clients, and think of my guests' needs.

I'm an experienced shiatsu massage practitioner, and I also offer a unique transmission 'Starlight Energy Healing'.

Occasionally I have friends to stay. In the event of having a friend to stay, I'll let booked guests know as soon as I do. My friends are all very nice and considerate. :)

Your sleep is our priority. Super king size wooden bed, with comfortable high mattress. You will enjoy your rest here.
The sheets are cotton. I use Ecover for washing laundry. There is a fan in the bedroom.

The guest are using first floor.
There is kitchen with dining area dedicated to guests. There is tea and essentials for cooking provided.
There is a Londis shop 10 min walking distance from the house.
There is bus stop Windmill hill behind corner.
The bus stopping there is 373 or Tor bus.
373 terminates in Wells and Street, going through High street Glastonbury.

During your stay
I like to great guest in person and show them around, at the same time there is a locbox.
And I am on the phone.

Your room includes a radio, TV, desk, ergonomic desk chair, easy chair, loads of storage space and a single bed.
It has lockable door for your peace of mind and there is a fixed small cash-box type of safe in the room for your passport/valuables.
Wi-fi is live all the time.
I supply towels (hand and bath), soap and shampoo.
Bring your own toothbrush and paste. :-)
The bathroom and kitchen are shared. Please leave them as as you find them.
Please hang any damp towels in the bathroom. (There are lots of hooks and a hanging rack in there).
Bedding changed weekly for the longer stays.
Shoes off in the house if it is soggy outside or if they are muddy please. (Thank you). :-)

During your stay
This is a room in my house, so I will be on hand at all times if you need a hand with anything.

E-bike for hire. (Be assured, it is foldable so if you get in trouble give me a ring and I can pick you and the bike up). Perfect for visiting the moors and the nearby wildlife reserves. £20 per day.

1 of our 2 guest rooms, this is a peaceful room with oak furniture, eco paint and pure cotton bedding. The house is in a quiet area of Glastonbury whilst at the same time being only a short 10 minute walk to the High Street, Glastonbury Tor, Abbey and Chalice Well.

Welcome to our unique wee vintage colourful caravan in our front garden. 10 foot long. Cosy small double bed or 1 larger person and child. There is an electric kettle & light. Use of house downstairs toilet and shower room upstairs. It is quiet, peaceful with bird song. Short walk 5/6 mins to the High street & close to sites, shops etc. We have 2 double rooms inside. Enjoy a Magical stay in my little exotic palace whilst you explore Avalon - the place of myths and legend. Back garden.

The space
The caravan is a tiny vintage colourful space like a little Indian/moroccan palace. 10 ft long. Cosy small double bed and side couch. Electric kettle and light . In the front garden of house. Toilet inside of house ground floor -easy access. Shower upstairs . Can sit in garden at table and chairs but be aware of noise and care for neighbours. At end of row of terrace so no passing traffic or people only birds .

Guest access
A key lets you in and out of the caravan . Best to leave the key in front porch lock box or agreed place of convenience because you don’t want to lock it in the caravan please. Toilet downstairs and shower room upstairs to work around other guests if booked . Short walk from street to end of terrace where you will see the caravan in the front garden through a gate .

Other things to note
Strictly vegetarian household and caravan . No fish or meat and only boiled eggs please. Leave shoes in porch to use toilet and shower room upstairs. There is a kettle for hot drinks etc . And an electric and battery lights. Bring outdoor shoes and indoor slippers. Warm clothes if it gets cold. Enjoy your unique space
