Warm, genuinely friendly, accommodating, and fascinating in their own life experiences. It's not every day that you get to meet an Olympic medalist! We booked the Highgrove room, which was beautiful and comfortable with ensuite bathroom. John (bless him) helped carry the heavy bags up to that top story room. Before we arrived, they provided us extensive and very useful information about things to see, places to eat, etc. with helpful links embedded to find more information. The continental breakfast was exceptional. (I don't think that I've ever said that before....) We paid in advance through wire transfer from my bank. The wire transfer process was challenging only because of my own bank. The information provided by the Parsonage House was 100% accurate. And we worked through it together. I definitely recommend having you own vehicle since the sights and locations are mostly rural. We recommend this beautiful B&B most enthusiastically. If I could give more than 5 stars, I certainly would. It was a wonderful experience . The house and property were simply top-notch and the Beatties are just delightful people."

We once had Kate Middletons parents stay here to attend a local wedding. They were turned away at the local pub for food because they were too busy and nobody recognised them.That's how crazy it gets here folks! I could go on about the time a Texan billionaires daughter took over Lucknam Park Hotel for her wedding but that's another story...or how a guest bumped into local Ex Bath Rugby star Chris Lilley and went home with a team strip!
Hopefully this gives you an idea of the ambience of the area. I will just mention that Colerne residents are known as Colerne donkeys. This relates to a story regarding the burial of a donkey in the graveyard with its hooves protruding. Don't ask me to explain, nor explain why there is no minute hand on the Church clock!

Past guests comment on how much they enjoy our gardens ,where children can play whilst adults eat and drink.Children seem very excited when they arrive. Perhaps it's the imposing and slightly 'Hogwarts' exterior of the house which they explore energetically before moving on to the walled garden with its (fenced) fish pond, fruit trees and chicken run where they find our chickens living in a children's playhouse converted into a chicken house. Our hens are rescued from slaughter they enjoy their new found freedom in a large run to the side of the house. Children may feed the chickens and collect the eggs and seem to enjoy just watching them. (They are like little dinosaurs strutting around complete with the odd fight!)In the garden you may also meet garden our cat called Salem and our giant continental rabbit called Sabrina
Groups from large cities,enjoy the peace and quiet and slower pace of a village and leave with batteries recharged.

Film buffs and families who want to keep children entertained may wish to visit nearby Castle Combe where scenes from Stardust, the first Dr Doolittle and Warhorse were filmed, and Lacock where scenes from Harry Potter and numerous costume dramas were filmed. William Fox Talbot undertook some early pioneering work on photography in Lacock Abbey where you will find a Museum of photography The village and Abbey are owned by the National Trust and preserved for posterity.

Churchdown is a beautiful large Victorian family home in Chippenham – a perfect location for exploring the wonderful Wiltshire towns, villages and countryside. For example the lovely villages of Castle Combe and Lacock are both within a few miles, while historic Georgian Bath is easy and quick to get to either by car (13 miles) or by train (15 minutes from Chippenham Station which is just 5 minutes walk away).
The Designer Outlet Village in Swindon is also close - one junction along the M4, or a 15 minute train journey.
The extremely dog friendly house sits in a fully walled garden of about 1/3 of an acre, with beautiful walks along the river Avon a couple of hundred yards from the door. There are four substantial bedrooms - three double with at least king size beds, and one twin. The master bedroom has a four-poster bed and stunning travertine tiled en-suite bathroom with cast iron bath and separate shower. The attic bedroom is perfect for several children.
There are three separate rooms to relax in: a more formal drawing room complete with organ (the foot pumps mean you can get lots of exercise too!); the 30 ft long garden room with french doors leading to the wooden decked terrace, and the sitting room with wood-burning stove, as well as HD television, Sky, DVD player X-Box and wi-fi hub. You are welcome to read any of the few hundred books available, or maybe try one of the board games or jigsaw puzzles in the games cupboard.

Little Maunditts Cottage is situated in a quiet lane in the heart of the charming village of Sherston and is within easy walking distance of all the village facilities including the two pubs, The Rattlebone Inn and Carpenters Arms, the The Angel Bistro & Coffee Shop, the church, the wonderfully well-stocked village store and two wine shops.
The cottage was originally the barns and stabling for a long-gone pub and was lovingly brought to life in 2014 and is only now available as a much admired holiday destination. As the cottage is in a conservation area it was designed to blend with neighbouring properties and retain the lovely character of Gaston Lane. Little Maunditts has the appearance and character of an old cottage but has all the modern components and facilities to make it lovely and warm and comfortable.
The interior of Little Maunditts Cottage is modern, bright and airy but still has a wealth of characterful features including handsome oak doors reclaimed from a Cotswold Manor House and unusual marble radiators in the bedrooms.
Little Maunditts Cottage is ideal for families or if you are several couples holidaying together as all three bedrooms are roughly equal in size with comparable facilities and all have en-suite bathrooms. Nobody in your group will have to settle for a less comfortable room! The National Arboretum at Westonbirt is very close by. In addition to the magnificent parkland and impressive and varied tree specimens, Westonbirt hosts a series of special events and open air concerts in addition to Westonbirts own guided walks and specialist talks.
The Sherston area is perfect for exploring the South Cotswolds on foot or by car. It is 5 miles from the historic town of Malmesbury, the oldest borough in England, with it's magnificent part-ruined Abbey, winding lanes and riverside walks. Also 5 miles away is Tetbury, renowned for its 17th century market hall and varied selection of antique shops.

The Stroud Valleys, Bath, Cirencester, the Marlborough Downs, Castle Combe and Lacock are all easily accessible and it is a scenic drive to the charming (but much busier) popular Cotswold tourist destinations of Stow-In-The-Wold, Bourton-On-The-Water and Moreton-In-Marsh. Castle Combe has been voted the prettiest village in England and Lacock, almost entirely owned by the National Trust, is regularly used as a film location - amongst it's credits are Harry Potter, War Horse, Doctor Dolittle and the drama series Pride & Prejudice and Cranford.
There are fabulous walks, both leaving directly from the cottage or a short drive away and there are plenty of guide books and maps on hand to help you choose a route.
The pretty cottage courtyard garden is a lovely sun-trap and a perfect place to enjoy outdoor dining in the summer.

There are bedside tables with reading lamps and a digital radio.The room has a dual aspect, overlooking the pretty garden and also down Gaston Lane towards the church. The central heating is supplied by the stylish marble radiator.
The en-suite bathroom is fully tiled in stunning pink Italian marble and has a walk-in shower with both hand-held and rain-drench shower heads. There is a shaver point and an illuminated magnifying mirror. The bathroom is heated with electric under-floor heating and there is a heated towel rail to ensure it always cosy and warm. There is ample natural light in the bathroom from the skylight window.

BEDROOM TWO has a white metal double four poster bed, originally bought in South Africa. BEDROOM THREE has 2 x 3ft twin zip & link beds which can be joined together to create a 6ft super kingsize bed. There is also an additional sofa bed which can sleep one adult or two smaller children. The bedroom has a view over the delightful courtyard garden.

One of the highlights of Little Maunditts Cottage is the SPACIOUS KITCHEN/DINING/LIVING ROOM. The room is plenty large enough for your whole party to hang out in whether they are cooking, dining or just relaxing. There is a range cooker with double oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, ample storage, crockery and cooking utensils. The dining table seats eight and there is further casual seating with a digital TV. The bi-fold doors allow you to open up almost an entire wall to bring the outside indoors. The room is heated with an under floor heating system so the limestone flagstones are never chilly underfoot.

The separate SITTING ROOM is well furnished with comfortable seating for everyone and a further TV and DVD player. There are numerous local guide books and maps for you to borrow and plan your outings. There is an excellent selection of local walks for you to choose from. For relaxing times at home there are board games, jigsaws and fiction & non-fiction books for your enjoyment. Information from the local tourist board is also provided. The under-floor heating and additional fireplace ensure this a cosy retreat at any time of year.

A separate UTILITY ROOM has plenty of space for all your coats and outdoor gear and includes a rather funky and unusual loo! There is a washer/dryer and also an additional freezer.

The GARDEN at Little Maunditts Cottage was newly planted from scratch in 2014 and the transformation from a builder’s yard to a delightful courtyard haven has been a tremendous success. 300 dwarf box trees were planted to line the gravel paths and the beginnings of a delightful topiary display are already evident. The borders are filled with shades of pinks and purples and the lavender display is stunning. There is a table and chairs on the patio outside the house and a swing seat on the patio at the far end of the garden.

The Farm sits on an old Anglo-Saxon Hill Fort which was also used by the Romans. The Cotswold Way crosses the land and there are many really scenic walks all around. We can lend you maps and recommend pubs and stops along the way.
There is an extensive array of wildlife on the farm including hares, deer, badgers, hedgehogs, skylarks, wrens, and red kites.

The day we arrived there was fresh bread waiting for us, eggs in the fridge, delicious granola, and milk for the granola. On top of all that, the bed is comfortable, the shower spacious enough for two, and there is a sitting room separate from the bedroom with a small sofa just right for cuddling up and watching TV or eating breakfast."

Once owned by Dr. William Oliver who invented the Bath bun and Bath Oliver! It's only 5 miles from Bath and 15mins in the car, but feels like a rural haven.. Perfect for family gatherings of up to 10 people with 5 double bedrooms and 1 other room that can take more temporary beds if required. Perfect for country walks and open fires but near enough for dinner in Bath. In the summer, relax in the large garden or visit the local pub.

Beautiful country feel but only 5miles from Bath. We love the location of the house as it feels rural, with fields to the back and woods in front of us.

There are 5 bedrooms and three reception rooms available for you to use. Depending on your group size we also use the top room as a bedroom with two sofa beds. It is a cinema projector room - but don't get too excited its a bit a squeeze to get more than 5 adults in at a time, but allows multi-party guests to have some different spaces to chill out.

A bus stop is directly opposite the pub and goes 3 times and hour into the centre of Bath. Uber does operate in Bath but isn't always available.

We do have 3 friendly cats who are resident at the property so this property is not suitable for those with cat allergies. They are fed outside in the studio by our house manager twice a day. We do have a raised 2ft pond in the garden, so please be aware if this could cause an issue for toddlers/young children.

The Space:
KITCHEN
The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you'll need to make a delicious meal during your stay. Featuring a hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and all the plates, bowls and utensils you can think of, you'll have everything to make you very own 5-star meal, overlooking the valleys.

DINING ROOM
The dining room features a very large, wooden dining table with enough seating for 10 guests! The dining room is situated in the new extension, featuring a large skylight and floor to ceiling windows, allowing floods of natural light to flow in and light up the space. In the summer months, the french doors open out onto the patio where you can enjoy your dinner alfresco style!

LIVING ROOM
The living room is part of an open-plan design and follows on from the dining room. Featuring an enclosed wood burner, a large smart TV and lots of books to keep you entertained, you've got all the ingredients for the ultimate, cosy night in.

SNUG/GAMES ROOM
Also on the ground floor is a snug/ games rooms which also has a sofa bed. This room contains lots of games, books and puzzles and is the perfect hideaway spot for a bit of wind down time. There is also a large desk through this room should you need to work remotely during your stay - made possible by our super fast WiFi which is also free for you to use during your stay.

BEDROOM 1
Bedroom 1 is located on the ground floor and is part of the newly renovated garage conversion. It features an en-suite as well as a comfy king bed adorned in crisp white linen.

BEDROOM 2
Bedroom 1 is on the top floor and features a comfy double bed. It also has its own en-suite with a walk-in shower, WC and basin. The bedroom features a cosy 'nook' with room for clothes storage and natural light flowing in through the windows.

BEDROOM 3
On the first floor, you'll find bedroom 2 which features a cloud-like double bed for you to sink into a deep slumber. There is plenty of storage available for your personal belongings so you can really settle in and feel at home.

BEDROOM 4
Bedroom 3 is also on the first floor and features a comfortable double bed, perfect for a deep slumber. High-end, crisp white linen is included for your stay so you can sleep in style.

BEDROOM 5
The fourth bedroom is accessed via a small flight of stairs following on from the snug/ games room and features a comfortable single bed, adorned in crisp white linen.

BATHROOMS
There are three bathrooms in total spread across the three floors. Bathroom 1 is accessed via the kitchen and features a luxury walk-in shower, WC, basin and antique mirror. Bathroom 2 is on the first floor and again features a walk-in shower, WC and basin. With marble tiling from floor to ceiling, you'll feel like you've just stepped into a luxurious spa. Bathroom 3 is an en-suite in the master bedroom on the top floor and features a walk-in shower, WC and basin. Fluffy white towels, bath mats and high-quality toiletries are included for your stay.

GARDEN
The garden features a blend of patio and greenery, with outdoor furniture so you can enjoy the warmer evenings alfresco style! But the real star of the show is the breath-taking view, overlooking acres of the rolling hills and stunning valleys of Somerset.

PARKING
We ask that you bring no more than 3 cars as there is limited parking availability at the cottage. You're welcome to park 2 cars on the driveway and 1 on the road outside.

Guest Access:
Guests will have the entire cottage to themselves. The cottage is spread across three floors so you must be able to climb stairs. One bedroom is located on the ground floor (accessed via a small flight of stairs) all others are accessed via stairs.

While the single bed on the mezzanine level and the single sofa bed in the snug room are both full sized and would fit an adult, we suggest that these are more comfortable for children.

The Neighborhood:
The beautiful City of Bath is less than 5-miles away and has an array of activities, shops, bars and restaurants to keep you entertained. Bath is also home to Bath Abbey, The Roman Baths, The Pump Rooms and the Thermae Bath Spa.

Located in a rural hamlet between Bath and Corsham, there is so much in and around the cottage to keep you entertained. Lacock national trust village is just a 15 - minute drive away, as well as the historical village of Castle Combe and the market town, Chippenham.

There are multiple footpaths that can be easily accessed from the cottage so you can go on a beautiful walk in the countryside.

There is also only space to park 3 cars at the cottage (2 on the driveway and 1 on the road outside)

A well-presented double room and family bathroom in a three bedroom detached house on the west side of Chippenham. Situated in a very quiet and friendly cul-de-sac with local amenities nearby which include supermarkets, pubs, a pharmacy and retail parks. Chippenham town centre and train station are a 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic. Junction 17 of the M4 is also approximately a 10 minute drive from the property. Bus stops are located a short walk from the house.

Double bedroom with window overlooking south facing back garden. Furnished with wardrobe/dresser combi unit, small double divan bed with medium/firm mattress. Coat hangers and TV provided.

Recently refurbished bathroom with L-shaped bath, shower, LED bathroom mirror cabinet, heated towel rail. As I have the master bedroom with ensuite you will have sole use of the family bathroom.

It is well situated to explore this beautiful part of Wiltshire and surrounding areas.Castle Combe village, the golf club and Castle Combe circuit are a couple of minutes away. Lacock,Corsham,Bradford on Avon and Chippenham are all within easy driving distance. Bath and Bristol are half an hour. We have 7 pubs that do food within 5 miles.

This is a quirky loft conversion that has everything you need for a comfortable stay. You have access to a small balcony and are welcome to use a shared garden area with bench or stroll in our paddock.Please note we do have 2 friendly dogs that are loose when we are at home.

PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED A CAR to stay in our property as it’s very rural with the nearest shop 3 miles away and the village is a mile away . There are no street lights or pavements and public transport is very limited.

Fuchsia Barn is a brand new purpose built Airbnb unit, finished to a very high standard, with lots of natural materials giving it a relaxing and cosy atmosphere.
It is situated 12 minutes walk from the beautiful village of Castle Combe, often voted the prettiest in the country, and featured in many films. There are wonderful woodland walks from the property, and two village pubs within walking distance

The space
The living space has oak flooring, and a log burner with stone hearth, next to the TV which has Netflix and Prime video.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and microwave.
The bedroom has a very comfortable kings sized (150x200cm) bed with colour adjustable LED lighting around the perimeter, and the en-suite bathroom includes a shower over the cosy bath.
Please note that smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.

There is parking for one car at the front of the property, but please note that the driveway and turning area is quite small, and whilst any car will fit, larger vehicles require a bit more manoeuvring.
At the rear is a small private garden and patio.

Under a Dutch chandelier and Italian C17th theater hangings, you can dine at the impressive refectory table, and alongside it, an antique Knole sofa is the perfect spot to curl up with a good book and a glass of wine in front of a roaring fire.

A spiral staircase leads to a mezzanine level with an Italian Baroque bed. Note: There is a privacy curtain here but no doors due to the historic nature of this listed building; we are unable to modify this.
We strongly advise guests, particularly those with mobility issues, the elderly, or families, to carefully consider this ,before booking.
The spiral staircase may not be suitable for everyone, and we want to ensure that all our guests have a safe and comfortable stay.

The oak-paneled room beyond has an open log fire, with more seating for cosy evenings watching films or just enjoying the open fire.
This room has an original Elizabethan bed, complete with silk hangings.
Behind the paneling there is a small study with an antique desk, should you need to work.
An American-style fridge is set up, with an ice maker for your drinks.

There is a modern galley kitchen complete with everything you might need: a DeLonghi coffee machine, electric hob, oven, toaster, kettle, and fridge.

There is one bathroom with a walk- in rainfall shower. basin and wc.

The last bedroom has another four-poster and a rolltop bath in front of a pair of antique Flemish doors.
