- "Waterlily Studio was a really comfortable and cosy retreat. It was beautifully located at the edge of the farm looking over a lake, with lots of birdlife around. Being able to walk around the lake and out onto the reed bed path helped us feel really in touch with nature. We even saw the resident Barn Owl early one morning. With a hob, microwave/oven and fridge it was so easy to prepare and cook our own meals, but Wareham also has some lovely restaurants and cafés if you want a change. All aspects of the studio were comfortable - and if the weather is fine, outdoor furniture is provided. I loved the little touches like the waterlily sculpture in the garden and waterlily glass painting pictures by the bed. A small tub of bird seed was also provided for feeding the garden birds - the Robin was particularly friendly. All in all this is perfect accommodation for enjoying wildlife and walking. A 10 minute drive takes you to RSPB Arne and Swanage and the Jurassic coast is just half an hour away. I can’t wait to return!"

The owners are there if you have any questions, but furthermore respect your privacy to the fullest. A car is a must, because there are no groceryshops within walking distance. Wareham can be reached within 15-20 minutes by car by a beautiful drive, and is a lovely town. Built in 1770, this charming house, situated in the historic Saxon town of Wareham, is ideal for a family, or two families, who want the ease of having plenty of space, a large walled garden and access to the shops, restaurants and amenities of Wareham, as well as all the stunning sites of Dorset, including Corfe Castle and the nearby beaches of Purbeck.

The house has been lovingly restored over the last 20 years by the owners who still use it regularly.

The house consists of a large drawing room with a wood burning stove; games room with a pool table and table tennis table; spacious hall; kitchen with an Aga and large table; separate kitchen/scullery with a gas hob, microwave and gas oven; 5 bedrooms; 3 bathrooms, 5 toilets and a separate TV room. The large walled garden backs onto Howards Lane car park and the house has its own carport.

The layout of the house is as follows:
1. Ground floor has a drawing room, a large games room, 2 kitchens (one with Aga and the other with gas hob,microwave and electric oven), utility room with separate washing machine and dryer, a toilet and access to the patio area and the large walled garden.
2. First floor has a TV room, shower room, bathroom, separate toilet, drying room, 3 bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with single bed and double bed and one with a single bed).

Families welcome in our end of terrace house with good sized rooms and small garden with easy access to Range walks and the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic coast. The house is approximately 1km from Lulworth Cove in the village of West Lulworth, with Corfe Castle and Swanage to the east and Weymouth to the west. Well located for day trips to many local attractions including Monkey World, the Tank Museum, Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island.
Comfortable and practical, the house offers affordable family accommodation. Well-equipped kitchen-diner. Family lounge with (small screen) TV and DVD player. Shower and WC downstairs and upstairs bathroom with shower. Wi-fi. Bedding provided.
