By The Byes is a very attractive Victorian house built in 1906 set in a quiet residential location adjacent to The Byes. It is furnished to a high standard aimed at making your holiday as pleasant and relaxing as possible. The house has 1 large sunny double bedroom newly decorated with new bed for 2021 with delightful views overlooking The Byes on the first floor. Bedroom 2 is a very spacious twin room on the second floor again a sunny room with views of The Byes and fields beyond. The attractive bathroom is on the first floor with bath and walk in shower cubicle. The cosy sunny sitting room is perfect for relaxing and reading, again with views directly of The Byes. The dining room with dining table and 4 chairs, and comfy sofa to relax and watch TV, DVD, and games. Sidmouth is excellent for exploring East Devon and Dorset. Lyme Regis with its fossil rich cliffs is a 20 minute drive. Exmouth with its large clean sandy beaches is about 15 minute drive. The World Heritage Jurassic Coast with its many unspoilt beaches can easily be explored driving as much or as little as desired. For walkers, Dartmoor National Park offers endless potential. For golfers, Sidmouth Golf Course is a mile away The Donkey Sanctuary very popular with families is a 3 mile drive. The Sidmouth Folk Festival at the end of July/beginning of August brings music and dance from many parts of the world. For something quite different the city of Exeter with its cathedral and retail therapy is about a 30 minute drive.
