- "What to say really, nice and welcoming, rooms are nice and presentable, good to have thing planned as they do go into the rooms to clean and so on, little mini fridges in rooms with chilled water and a small milk, kettle with tea and coffee and so on. Nice throwback to the days of B&B, Breakfast is more filling than you think, dining room is also the bar, not that we used it but looked quaint enough. Food is cooked fresh that morning and do try to accomodate most requests. The biggest issue, especially when travelling is parking, as there's no parking. Its located on possibly the last free to park area in Paignton so fills up quickly, paid spaces down the road however and isnt overly expensive to park for the day if you can get a space. If you can plan activities over not using a vehicle and can leave it parked then ideal! "

The Brampton is a victorian guesthouse well placed in the busy holiday town of Paignton.
5 minutes walk to the town centre, beach, bus and train stations and the seafront prominade.

The space
This is our small Double on 2nd floor with it's own shower room but access is from the hallway not internal door. 4ft double bed.
We have single and double rooms, some ensuite and a family room which sleeps 4 with bunkbeds. Tea and coffee facilities are in each room with complimentry bottled water and biscuits. You have use of a hairdryer or iron on asking.
We are a nonsmoking premises.

Enjoy everything Paignton has to offer all within easy walking distance. Our house backs onto the historic Oldway Mansion and gardens, former home of Issac Singer, the inventor of the Singer sewing machine. It's only a 10 minute walk to Paignton town centre, beach and pier, but with local shops only a minute away.

Our guests will have a bright spacious double bedroom, with use of 2 shared bathrooms, plus you're welcome to use the kitchen, lounge and garden.

The space
Our home is a detached dormer bungalow on the main road between Torquay and Paignton town centre. The double room is on the ground floor, with a shared bathroom, shared kitchen and shared living room also on the ground floor. There is also a shared bathroom on the first floor and an enclosed back garden which guests can also use.

You will be staying with myself and my husband Jon, a couple of 30-something year olds who love to travel the world.

The Parkers Arms is an established pub and the home to our family run restaurant the Cattlemans Steakhouse. While here you can enjoy your choice of steak presented on a lava hot stone on your table where you will cook to your liking.

The room houses a double bed with duvet and bed linen, wardrobe and drawer storage and has it's own en-suite bedroom with shower, sink and toilet.
This is room only no breakfast is available at the present time.

Guest access
The accommodation is made up 4 letting rooms, an additional main bathroom and separate toilet which can be used by guests only. The bathroom has a bath with over bath shower.
Downstairs is a public house and Cattlemans Steakhouse restaurant open between 12pm and 10pm

During your stay
Staff from the restaurant will meet and greet you for check in and are available during the restaurant opening hours. Our manager lives on site and can be available in an emergency outside of these hours.
