- "Location, location, location! Absolutely spectacular scenery in the surrounding area, a hikers paradise. (Bring good walking boots or wellies as some of the walks are muddy). We could watch the sun set over the water from the kitchen window which was incredible. The village is small and absolutely gorgeous, but still has several places to eat 2 takeaway and 2 eat in. There is a church, pub,museum and shop/post office - hearing bell ringing practice in the church on wednesday night was a treat.the bus service is good, goes every hour to Ilfracombe and wollacombe and bus stop is 5minutes walk from the house. The property is well equipped with great kitchen, comfy beds, additional tv in one of the bedrooms. Just would benefit from having a work desk in the twin bedroom with a WiFi extender as we had to work from the kitchen table which was not ideal. The twin bedroom would make the perfect spot for a desk because the view from the window is gorgeous (can see cows grazing on the hill by the sea). Only other issue we had was the codes given for the front door and bin store didn't work, fortunately residents in the flat below helped us out with this. Overall we had a fantastic stay and definitely will be back. Not suitable for people with mobility problems though cause quite a few steps alough our 75 year old mum did manage ok"

Beautiful 2 bedroom house on the border of Woolacombe / Mortehoe. Southerly facing, looking out over 3 different beaches to the south and Lundy Island to the west. Previously the end of a popular hotel this house is wonderfully sunny and bright without being hot. The bedrooms are all downstairs and open out onto a sunny patio with beach view. The upper balcony has the same view, extending out from the living area, making a great spot to watch the amazing sunsets with a cool drink! Linen, big white fluffy towels and beach towels are included, along with a welcome pack of food and wine. In easy reach of beaches, coastal walks, local bars & restaurants, this fresh, light and modern house makes a superb holiday property providing comfort, luxury and practicality whilst enjoying one of the best locations in the surrounding area. We are a totally "pet free" house so please don't ask to bring one, well behaved or otherwise. We have many people who come back year on year with pet allergies so like to make sure this is a relaxing environment for them and any other non pet families.

A sunken hot tub in the front decking enjoys the best views of Woolacombe beach. Thorpe is a family home, maintained to a high standard throughout. The apartment has been recently redecorated in a contemporary coastal theme. There are 2 bedrooms, a double with en-suite shower room and a twin with tv and dvd player for the kids to enjoy a movie night from the huge collection of DVDs. There is a large family bathroom with a bath and shower over. The living room boasts amazing sea views from a large window and a super squishy sofa to curl up on after a busy day on the beach. There is access to a balcony from the dining area to truly enjoy the views. There is a large well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washer dryer.
There is a cupboard full of games for when the weather isn't being too kind and another cupboard full of beach bits (beach towels, buckets, spades, beach chairs, wind break, parasol) for when it is!
There is a designated parking space right by the front door so no great distance to lug your bags. In fact no need to move your car at all if you don't want to, everything is a short walk away. Woolacombe has a great range of bars, restaurants, pubs, shops and beaches.
A short drive a way there are more sights to see if you fancy venturing to Lynton and Lynmouth, Exmoor, Barnstaple or Croyde, there are many more places to explore.
There is also unlimited broadband and a lovely welcome pack to await you.

French doors to the side open onto a decked area with large picnic table and barbeque. The family bathroom has bath and separate shower and the porch has ample room for coats, boots and bags. The secluded location gives a peaceful retreat after enjoying days on the beach, surfing the waves, walking the coastal path or exploring the beautiful North Devon coastline and countryside.
The accommodation is not suitable for anyone with reduced mobility due to the long gravel path and steps. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times in the shared garden.

Another great apartment for Holiday Home Hunter in the popular Crossways Court development on Woolacombes seafront Esplanade overlooking Combesgate Beach and The Watersmeet Hotel. ‍
As a penthouse apartment built into the eaves of the original hotel, High Tides has striking angular ceilings and absolutely lovely views. Sleeping four in two bedrooms, High Tides makes a fabulous family holiday home or a perfect romantic base for couples who want to enjoy beach life and walks around the coast. For those who love Barricane Beach and its famous beach café right on the beach, look no further as it’s just minutes away serving. Sri Lankan curries are served at weekends and most nights in the summer weather permitting. Perfect for watching the sun going down. Alternatively, Combesgate, popular for surfing and rock pooling is right opposite the apartment down steep steps. ‍

There are steps up to the apartments and then around the back is a further run of external metal open tread stairs to the apartment door. This apartment is at the top with two storey properties below. Once inside the apartment it is on one level. Down a short corridor and straight into the living room with double patio doors to the balcony where full enjoyment of the views can be enjoyed.
The new dining table and chairs are in front of these balcony doors so the same view can be enjoyed from inside sitting at the table. In the living room area is a sumptuous sofa suite and coffee table.
There is a new 32" wall mounted Smart TV (no DVD player).
The kitchen is at the back of the room looking across the room and out to sea. This bright and airy room is white and fresh with coastal themed décor. The kitchen has a full size dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, Microwave, fridge freezer and is set to cater for four people. It now provides a Lavazza A Modo Bio coffee machine (a few pods to get you started are provided).‍

There are two lovely bedrooms, a double room with king-size bed and furniture with en-suite shower, WC, sink basin and towel ladder style radiator. The twin bedroom room with roof light window has chest of drawers, wardrobe and a bedside table. The twin room has use of the newly fitted family bathroom with white suite comprising bath with shower over, WCand sink basin and towel ladder radiator. ‍

With open tread metal external stairs, we don't think this place is suitable for really young toddlers or babies hence no cot or highchair provided. ‍At the back of the property is a patio area with seating and a rotary drier for the use of guests.A useful lockable surf store is available for your private use. ‍‍

This apartment is over the road from Combesgate Beach, popular for surfing and body boarding at the right tide but there are over 100 steps down. However, just around the corner is the popular Barricane Beach, a delightful sheltered cove with a café in season serving tea and coffee, cakes, ice-creams and lovely food. Main beach is a good 10 mins walk after that. ‍‍
All apartments at Crossways Court have one private allocated parking space and there are 3 additional shared visitor spaces when available.

Centre Point is a 1st floor apartment in a superb location just a 2 min walk from the award winning golden sand beach and village of Woolacombe. The apartment has been refurbished to a high standard and has a bright, airy and contemporary feel. It has an open plan kitchen, living, dining area with stunning sea views. The kitchen is well equipped with conduction hob, oven, large fridge freezer dishwasher and microwave. The living room has a new comfortable couch, armchair and a 50inch smart TV
There are 2 separate bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and enjoys fantastic views across the bay and coastline directly from your pillow. The southerly facing balcony can be accessed directly through french doors.
It has a large ensuite bathroom which includes a sunken bath, separate large walk in shower cubicle with raindrop head shower.
Bedroom 2 is a twin room with ensuite shower.
There is a very useful and highly practical utility room which has a washing machine and separate tumble dryer. It also has a WC handbasin and shower tray with low level shower hose designed for cleaning off wetsuits and beach equipment. There is a rail above the shower tray to hang wetsuits.
The village is a 2 min walk and the beach is a 4 min walk away either via a path through the common area of the building or quiet residential roads.

The house is comfortable and spacious with many unique features. It is set over 3 floors and you come in the front door into a large porch with plenty of hanging and shoe space leading to a hall with stairs up to the main living area. This a beautiful room with double height ceiling and exposed oak frame, well equipped kitchen, beautiful dining table to seat 12-14 guests and a large corner sofa seating area with TV, Netflix, x box/dvd player. Also on this floor is the master bedroom with juliet balcony looking out to the front of the house with sea views through the trees, superking bed, ensuite bathroom with double ended bath, toilet and large separate rainfall shower. The Blue Sky bedroom has garden views, zip lock beds that can be arranged as twin or superking and toilet/shower ensuite. The Sleigh bedroom has garden views, double sleigh bed and toilet/shower ensuite and in the corridor there is a separate wc. There are stairs leading up to 2 further bedrooms, the garden balcony room with double bed and garden views from the juliet balcony and the sleepover/family room with double bed and 4 singles - great for all the kids to stay together. Also on the top floor is a small bathroom with toilet and bath and a cubby daybed area for lounging around or getting away from it all. Back on the second floor is another seating area with huge bookcase of books and games and the entrance to the slide that leads down to the fabulous games room with pool table, full size table tennis table, seating area, darts board, ballet bar, punch bag, rowing machine and functional trainer/weights bench. (Less adventurous members of the family can take the stairs!). Through the games room is the cinema/skate room. This room is actually a miniramp for experienced skaters only and if you do not skate it will be made up and left as a cinema room with lazy boy sofa and beanbags. Also on this floor is a further double bedroom with superking bed, large wetroom walk in shower, toilet and bidet and a utility with washing machine, tumble dryer, extra freezer and over sized sink.
The games room has folding sliding doors leading out to a sunken garden, a great social area, with pizza kitchen, wood fired pizza oven, fire pit, plenty of seating and steps up to the garden. The garden can also be accessed through folding sliding doors upstairs from the living area and has a beautiful hand made oak table with deck chairs, sun loungers and charcoal Weber bbq on the paved terrace. Along the side of the house is a lawned area with badminton net, weather permitting, and to the other side a washing line, swings, monkey bars. Further up the garden is a shared area with absolutely stunning wide skies and views over the Bristol Channel to Wales and the other way to Lundy Island, an awesome place for a sundowner or for stargazing with seating and football area. This top part of the garden is shared with The Cabin located away from the main house and up the garden. All the area around the main house is private to the house. If you are after manicured lawns and pristine flower beds, this is not the garden for you but if you like wild areas allowing an abundance of wildlife you will love it.
The secluded location of the house gives a peaceful retreat after enjoying days on the beach, surfing the waves, walking the coast path or exploring the beautiful North Devon Coastline and countryside.
Directly in front of the house is a large driveway with parking for 3-4 cars depending on size and further parking on the main drive can be arranged if needed.
There are hot and cold outdoor showers and hanging rail to dry wetsuits.
The kitchen has induction hob, double oven/grill, microwave, Smeg coffee machine, large american style fridge freezer and dishwasher and is well equipped for feeding a crowd. There is a safety door on the slide, stairgates both up and down from the main floor only and high chair and travel cot available on request.

Newly extended and renovated for 2023, Falbala is a detached split level property situated in a tranquil area of Woolacombe and less than 10 minutes walk to the village. Boasting elevated panoramic views towards Potters Hill, Baggy Point, Woolacombe Beach and Lundy Island, Falbala is the ideal property to wind down and relax. The large front patio/decking area includes a luxury rattan settee, perfect for relaxation and an ideal place to sip your beer or dine Al Fresco. The private drive has parking space for three vehicles.

Brought in May 2014 Falbala has become our dream family home and only for rent for the main school holidays, whilst we travel.

The Accommodation.
Falbala is a four-bedroom newly extended property and sleeps up to eight people in total. It has two king sized beds, one double and a trundle bed which extends into two single beds.
Entering the house at the utility door using the key safe the utility houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, beer/wine fridge and freezer.
From the utility take the stairs up to the upper landing where you’ll find the double and single bedrooms, both enjoying countryside view across the rear garden. Off the same landing you will find stairs up to the newly extended on-suite master bedroom, with a luxurious king size bed and far reaching coastal views.
Continuing along the upper landing you will access the large spacious kitchen/diner with magnificent, vaulted ceiling and double-glazed patio doors which overlooks National Trust land to the rear of the property.
The kitchen is well equipped for entertaining and well-appointed with stylish furniture allowing you to relax whilst entertaining. For those cooler summer’s evenings, there is underfloor heating and a wood burner to snuggle in front of.
The kitchen/diner sits as a mezzanine with a glass balustrade looking down onto the lounge, making this property very much open plan living!

The allocated car parking space is as close as it is possible to get, with just 2 steps from the car park to the rear of the property. The master bedroom is fantastic wi, again with amazing views. - "Pines is in a great spot for walking from your front door along the beautiful coastline and a short drive to Woolacombe beach. Mortehoe has a great pub. The apartment / house is beautifully furnished with a contemporary but comfortable beach vibe. It was the perfect place to stay. We loved it."

Charming rustic cabin nestled in trees. 15/20 minute walk to the pub and sea. Charlton Cleave is host to Mole Cabin along with Badger and Toad Hall. Blue Pebbles is a modern two-bedroom split-level house (sleeping 4) with balcony, terrace and magnificent sea views. It is close to all three beaches: Combesgate, Barricane and Woolacombe. Combesgate Beach is almost opposite and it is less than a ten minute walk along the Esplanade, to Woolacombe’s famous beach (voted The Times Beach of the Year 2021). The coastal path is also directly opposite.
Blue Pebbles is ideal for couples, families with children and well-behaved dogs.

The space
It is an “upside-down” house, to make the most of the outstanding views. Both the upper balcony and the lower terrace are south-facing and benefit from the sun all day. The lounge-dining area is on the upper (entrance) level and the bedrooms are downstairs. There is gas central heating so you can holiday in comfort throughout the year.
The lounge-diner has two sofas, a dining table, and a coffee table. There is a TV, and DVD player. WiFi is included. Very tidy and well equipped with good taste and lovely touches. A good shower and cozy space + really enjoyable outside space for outside lunches, sundowners and BBQs. Standing up you can see the sea.

A quirky & cosy barn conversion in the picturesque village of Mortehoe. Only a short walk to Grunta beach - a charming sandy cove filled with rock pools - great for the kids to explore and less crowded than the larger nearby beaches of Combesgate, Barricane & Woolacombe.

Can sleep up to 4 people though ideally suited to a family.

Direct access from the sitting room to the sunny, alfresco dining area with beautiful views overlooking the cliff walks.

The space
The cottage is a recently renovated converted barn conversion.

It comes with 2 bedrooms on the ground level :
- one has a double bed, a wardrobe, under bed drawers and a bedside table.
- the other has 2 bunk beds ( with a maximum weight limit of 11 stone on the top bunk), a chest of drawers, under bed drawers and a bedside table. There is also a storage cupboard with hanging space for more clothes.

Also on the ground level, though accessible via 2 steps, is the bathroom. This comes with a bath and an integrated shower, a basin unit and toilet.

Heading upstairs, you come into the open plan living area and kitchen.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary amenities such as toaster, kettle, coffee machine, hob, oven/microwave combo, fridge, small freezer and air fryer, along with plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery.

There is a dining table which seats 4, as well as a comfy sofa and a smart TV which links up to the Full Fibre Internet which has been installed in the cottage.

There is direct access to a delightful patio area, furnished with outside dining furniture and a small garden built on different levels. From here, there are wonderful views of the village, the rolling hills and the cliff paths.

Round the back of the cottage is access to the laundry room, complete with both a washing machine and tumble dryer and which has its own separate entrance ( requiring a key).

Please note that there is no dedicated parking space with the cottage ( as is common in Mortehoe). However the village car park is only a 2 minute walk away and parking permits of 4 or 7 days came be purchased in advance from North Devon council at a cost of £20 or £35 respectively. These permits also allow you to use other car parks in the area such as Croyde, Ilfracombe, Lynton and Lynmouth.

Other things to note
At the back of the house, please excuse the tarpaulin but at a later date - a storage room will be built there. Unfortunately as anyone who has had building works done, knows, that the costs normally escalate way above the original estimates so basically the money ran out for the final renovations . But hopefully by the end of the year they’ll happen. 🤞🤞
However it doesn’t impact the stay in the cottage in any way as it’s completely separate and out of sight. 😜

Our camping cabin in the garden is especially suited to young and young at heart, independent travellers such as walkers or surfers who want a base close to brilliant beaches, great walks around the coast and the pubs, restaurants and other entertainments of the North Devon Coast. It is basic, but cosy and quirky and comes with optional breakfasts! It is good for couples, pairs of friends and solo adventurers.

The space
Our camping cabin known as Africa, is at the top of our garden and is especially suited to young and young at heart independent travellers such as walkers or surfers.

It consists of two small rooms and a veranda and has long been a popular spare room with our friends. There is a small double bed in one room and, in the other room, a narrow bench sofa - which could be used for sleeping where two guests do not want to share the bed (but is probably a little firm!)
Crockery, cutlery, a toaster, kettle and tea and coffee is provided. The large, covered veranda has a sofa and small dining table and chairs and another small preparation table. You can bring your own camping stove to cook on the verandah - or we can lend you ours. Shout for pans and other cooking utensils you need. Ask us about our own eggs and - sometimes - home cured bacon (apologies to vegans) if you need ingredients. There is a cold box and we can provide ice blox.
You have an outside loo, sink and shower in the old coal house at the bottom of the garden behind the house.
We have 2 cats and a free range rabbit and some chickens and pigs in our woods across the way so no dogs I am afraid. Please get in touch if you want to know anything else. We hope to welcome you soon.

We like to avoid outside lighting as much as possible, the valley is a great spot for star gazing- so be sure to take a torch with you if you go out at night.

Studio 3 is the perfect getaway for couples or small families who want the surf and beach lifestyle that Woolacombe is famous for. Located close to the beach in the heart of the village everything is just minutes away!
The studio is situated on the ground floor and is fully equipped to a high standard. There is a shared entrance but the studio has it's own secure locking front door. Full wi-fi and a smart TV all come as part of the package.

The space
Studio 3 has everything you need in a single room. There is a double bed and a small double sofa bed as well as a good quality folding single, a dining table, a television, wardrobe and cupboard space and a well equipped kitchen. The studio has its own bathroom. It’s small but perfectly formed!

Other things to note
I want your stay to be an enjoyable and safe one. In response to the Covid 19 pandemic I am making sure I follow the best advice to keep everyone safe. Please bring your own towels, pillows and bed linen. You will need a flat double sheet and double duvet cover. I have changed check in from 3.00pm until 4.0 pm to allow more time for cleaning. I will leave hand sanitizer in the studio but please bring your own PPE as well. Please remember social distancing during your time in Woolacombe and keep yourselves safe.
