- "I had a very enjoyable stay at Seashore. The apartment was very clean, had everything I needed and in a great location overlooking Woolacombe beach. However when I arrived for my stay my key collection was very stressful. It was January and check in time was 6pm onwards so the property was in the dark. Then I had great difficulty understanding how to collect the keys from the safe box for the apartment. The key holder was stiff, there was no explanation how it worked and when I called the property manager for help it went to voicemail. My phone was running flat battery and left me feeling anxious. From this experience I would recommend outside lighting for the property during winter season and an explanation or drawing of how to use the key safe. - "This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion. Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division between 'your bit (nice picnic bench as shown in pictures) and the adjoining properties. Its quiet at night and road noise (road is 20m away) is not intrusive. The location is not convenient to Woolacombe. We cycled and walked down into town. The road is steep and is fine for adults however its the main road to Woolacombe and would not be safe for young children. Its quite a climb back out too. Walking was fine apart from the first 300m. This is again on the road - there are no pavements or verges and did not feel particularly safe - after which there is a pleasant walk past stables and fields into town. There is a bus - however the stop is after the 300m pavement less stretch. You can of course drive down. We were a couple - so did not 'value' bunk beds or the thoughtful games etc provided. If you want a base for exploring the Combes then this works and there are lots a great guest reviews attesting to a good stay."

- "Location, location, location! Absolutely spectacular scenery in the surrounding area, a hikers paradise. (Bring good walking boots or wellies as some of the walks are muddy). We could watch the sun set over the water from the kitchen window which was incredible. The village is small and absolutely gorgeous, but still has several places to eat 2 takeaway and 2 eat in. There is a church, pub,museum and shop/post office - hearing bell ringing practice in the church on wednesday night was a treat.the bus service is good, goes every hour to Ilfracombe and wollacombe and bus stop is 5minutes walk from the house. The property is well equipped with great kitchen, comfy beds, additional tv in one of the bedrooms. Just would benefit from having a work desk in the twin bedroom with a WiFi extender as we had to work from the kitchen table which was not ideal. The twin bedroom would make the perfect spot for a desk because the view from the window is gorgeous (can see cows grazing on the hill by the sea). Only other issue we had was the codes given for the front door and bin store didn't work, fortunately residents in the flat below helped us out with this. Overall we had a fantastic stay and definitely will be back. Not suitable for people with mobility problems though cause quite a few steps alough our 75 year old mum did manage ok"
