Gower bungalow, is a delightful two bedroom property offering visitors a comfortable, and enjoyable stay in a quiet mews. Situated only 100 yards from the glorious Gower coastal path, it is strolling distance to the charming village of Mumbles. Facilities include, fully fitted and equipped open plan kitchen, washing machine, wall mounted flat screen television. Alexa system. The double bedroom has a double size bed, the second bedroom has adult size bunk beds. All beds are ready made up for visitors with freshly laundered and ironed linen. Also provided are hand & tea towels. There are two matching leather sofas of excellent quality providing comfort and style. This open plan area leads via internal French doors into the conservatory which is furnished with high quality table and chairs.The conservatory leads via external French doors onto the first of two outside areas, the upper is patio the lower is decking, they are both furnished. The property has full central heating for the winter months. There is an electric meter. There is a credit of at least £15 for each visitor at the start of their stay, should more be required the visitor can top up the meter using their credit card. There is free WiFi provided, smart TV and echo dot.
Swansea: Swansea is Wales second city and comes up to expectation. It is a lively city with an abundance of culture with its museums, art galleries and round the year exhibitions of various kinds. It sits to the right of the sea and every nook and cranny reminds us of our maritime traditions. Visit the award winning marina and its exciting architectural surrounds. Swansea can boast an excellent shopping centre and abundance of good restaurants bars and cafes. The city indoor market is a must for the resident and tourist trade. Transport is very good and has a central national bus station as well as train station.
One other thing apart from its seaside attractions, Swansea is famous for it many wonderful parks, including Clyne Park and Singleton Park.
Mumbles village: Mumbles is a lively and charming welsh seaside village. It boasts an abundance of restaurants and bars as well as cafe's and ice cream parlours.
West Wales: Places such as Tenby, Saudersfoot and Pembroke are all within relatively easy driving distance for those who cannot bear to be so near and not experience the magnificence of the west Wales coast and countryside.

You enter into this charming property via the kitchen/breakfast room. You will immediately be struck by the wonderfully high characterful ceilings throughout and the natural light that floods into this space via the two gothic style windows to the front of the home. The kitchen/breakfast room houses an array of wall and base units topped with granite worktops with integrated double sunken sink with waste disposal unit, Hotpoint microwave/oven, Neff oven and grill, Neff 4-ring electric hob, elevated extractor fan, washer/dryer, and Miele dishwasher. Here you also have the pleasure of a breakfast bar and stools, and an American style fridge/freezer with water dispenser and ice machine.

Sea Breeze offers a charming open plan design with a well-equipped kitchen offering a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, and fridge freezer. The dining area caters up to 6 persons and the spacious lounge offers a comfortable seating area with electric fire and Smart TV, ideal for a relaxing social gathering. The large double lounge French doors allows a continuation of the romantic ambience of Sea Breeze to pass through to the cosy outside terrace and the relaxing garden chairs and sea view ideal for a coffee or aperitive.

A car would be useful but we took advantage of the bus and some extremely kind neighbours to view the sites. Lots of restaurants, shops and pubs within walking distance. Situated directly opposite the Norman Castle (Oystermouth Castle) this is a jewel in the crown due to the central village location yet providing 2 off street parking spaces it offers the ability for families to meet up and share a wonderful holiday cottage.

The cottage consists of 3 floors. In the basement there is a large playroom to keep little ones entertained with a whole host of high quality toys, including a rocking horse, tent, puzzles and colouring in with soft cushions. Also in the basement is a wet room, and utility room - great for after sandy trips to the beach!
Upstairs is the hand made wooden kitchen with belfast sink, range cooker, and large american fridge freezer. Everything for cooking has been provided for from a blender to whizz baby food, plastic plates and cutlery to everything to cook a hearty meal! There is a large, sunny open plan dining area leading on from this with its own tv (with sky channels).
Also on this level is the small patio, and front more "adult" living room with its wood log burner, luxurious sofas, beautiful bay windows with shutters for privacy, together with a downstairs loo.
Upstairs on the first floor are the three bedrooms and bathroom. The master bedroom is an open space with fully fitted wardrobes along one wall, views of the sea front and the Mumbles lighthouse, a luxurious King bed with duck/goose feather duvets and pillow cases, stylishly decorated in neutral yet nautical theme to match the rest of the house.
The twin bedroom has two single beds, and the third bedroom has a bunk bed which we recommend only for children's use (due to limited head space).
The main bathroom has a roll top bath, separate shower, and underfloor heating.
Everything for a young family has been thought of from a travel cot, stairgates throughout, black out blinds, a high chair, baby rocker, potties and toddler plates etc. All we ask is that you provide your own bedding for the cot.

Blue House has a sociable open plan living and dining area, two smart bedrooms - a great option for a family seaside holiday. You can also explore the nearby coastal paths and beaches. Mumbles is a delightful coastal village is home to some excellent boutiques, stylish shops, galleries and cafes. Further afield, drive along the Gower Peninsular and step back in time with a visit to one of the many castles, stroll along the coastal paths and stop off at one of the fabulous beaches along the way.

- "We stayed in the two-bedroom town house, which is entirely self-contained save for a front door and entrance corridor that is shared with the neighbouring single-bedroom apartment. The town house was clean, tidy, well-provisioned and well-prepared for our stay. Check-in is via a key safe system, with the code communicated to us shortly before arrival. The location was very convenient, with all of the facilities of Mumbles town centre available within a few minutes' walk, and the superb beaches of Rotherslade Bay, Langland Bay and Caswell Bay also reachable on foot, connected by an outstanding coastal path. You do need to watch your head on some low ceilings in the bedrooms! Overall I would not hesitate to recommend this property."

My quiet top floor apartment on the edge of Langland Golf Course close to the beautiful beaches of Langland and Caswell has recently been refurbished.
I have chosen to design the space to promote calmness in a clean and uncluttered space and have been lucky to have inherited some classic furniture from the 1960s, now described as mid century.
The living room has a large glazed area with views amongst the trees for you to relax and unwind in, while still enjoying many comforts of a modern home.
The apartment is in a prime location, a short walk from some amazing countryside and coastal bays like the beautiful beaches of Caswell and Langland, and the historic and creative village of Mumbles with a varied range of independent shops, art galleries, cafes, restaurants, bars and pubs. It’s worth exploring the Norman Oystermouth Castle and the quaint fishing cottages around Village Lane.
After exploring the many different delights that the Gower and Mumbles have to offer, you can relax in my comfortable and beautiful retro style apartment.
Living room - The living room is furnished with original mid century design classics, including two classic sofas to relax on and a dining area with four chairs to enjoy your evening meals on.
There is no television so hopefully you can enjoy reflecting on your day.
Kitchen - The kitchen is well equipped with high end appliances including a 4 zone induction hob, oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and microwave. A good range of kitchen crockery & cooking equipment are provided. There is small kitchen table with chairs. On arrival you will be welcomed with Coffee, Tea, Milk, Sugar and Biscuits.
Bathroom - The bathroom has recently been renovated with a double sized shower area with a comfortable thermostatic shower. Toiletries are provided.
Bedroom - The bedroom is furnished with a double bed with pocket sprung orthopaedic mattress with fresh hotel standard linen, with both a Bath and Hand Towel for each guest. There is a single wardrobe with hanging space and pull out wire racks. Additional storage is provided in the chest of drawers.
Outside - The apartment block was built in the late 1970s on the site of a Victorian mansion with extensive grounds. There’s grounds are free for you to use and enjoy. From the bottom of the grounds there is a small gate which allows access from the private grounds of the apartment, across the golf course to Langland Bay, Caswell Bay and the start of some lovely coastal walks.
To the west you can follow the cliff path to the very quiet Brandy Cove beach with its smuggling associations or to Pwlldu beach steeped in history from Limestone quarrying industries.
To the east the cliff path extends from Langland Bay to Rotherslade on towards Limeslade (Fortes Ice Cream parlour is worth a visit) down to Mumbles Pier and ending up in the village of Oystermouth (commonly known as Mumbles)

There's a large first floor balcony, allowing you to take full advantage of the views as well as a ground floor patio area. Less than a stone's throw away from your door is the 5-mile seafront promenade, stretching around the bay to Swansea Marina in one direction and over to Mumbles Pier in the other with a number of places worth stopping in along the way. Known for it's fantastic array of bars and eateries, Mumbles is also full of local boutiques, galleries and the 12th century remains of Oystermouth Castle. Accessed via the clifftop coastal path or a short drive (1mi), the nearby connecting beaches of Langland and Rotherslade Bay boast golden sands, an 18-hole clifftop golf course, popular seafront brasserie, tennis courts and cafe.

Our newly furnished 2 bedroomed cottage is perfect for a great get away to relax!
Located in the heart of the famous fishing village of Mumbles in South Wales, you can walk down the lane and be on the thoroughfare in a minute!
Blow the cobwebs away on Gower's famous coastal path, award winning beaches and to top it off enjoy the local attractions Mumbles village offers.
The space
We have lovingly decorated our home maintaining many original features making it the perfect base to enjoy your relaxing getaway in Mumbles.
The main living area is open plan to the modern, fully equipped kitchen, with electric oven/hob and microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher.
Upstairs we have a comfortable double bedroom and just off the lower landing is a sunny, twin room. Both rooms boast stunning sea views. The twin room has a unique porthole with views right across the bay.
Outside we have our favourite feature, generous two tiered decking space overlooking the whole of Swansea Bay and Oystermouth Castle.
We provide free Wi-Fi to our guests.
Please ensure when using the stairs inside to mind your head and ensure children are supervised at all times (both inside and outside)
We offer hotel standard linen and towels which are replaced after each stay.
The property is set up to offer remote access with easy self check in meaning that no direct contact with anyone is needed. We also offer a 24/7 guest support should you need any assistance during your stay.

Please note the cottage is located on a very picturesque, but steep, one way lane leading down to the seafront. There is no parking outside but guests can drive down the lane ,stopping outside briefly to unload. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. With this in mind the stairs inside the property are also fairly steep and not suitable for those with mobility issues.
Other things to note
Unfortunately we don't allow pets. Strictly No smoking or parties. Please could we ask to remove outdoor shoes on carpeted areas. Do not leave food or rubbish outside. Respect our home and neighbors.

Local Attractions
There are great beaches within walking distance and further afield around the Gower Peninsula. Nearby Swansea has all the city amenities and attractions expected of a large town. There is a regular bus and taxi service available or a safe and easily accessible seafront pedestrian path and cycle lane which sweeps around the bay into the Marina at Swansea. More locally, there is the historic Oystermouth Castle, the Mumbles Lighthouse at Bracelet Bay as well as the beautiful Victorian Pier boasting family amusements, restaurants and a working life-boat station. Enjoy the ‘Cafe culture’ and ‘Mediterranean vibe’ along the seafront promenade, literally on the doorstep.

The Little Red House is a spacious, comfortable and well-equipped detached cottage with an enclosed garden and 2 private parking spaces. You will find it nestled in the quiet heart of the old village of Oystermouth, in Mumbles, Gower. From its elevated position, you can see the castle and across Swansea Bay. The Little Red House holds the 'Visit Wales 4 Star Award'.
The space
This is the ideal place for a staycation. With 2 private parking spaces you will be within 5 minutes’ walk of the seafront and promenade and close to Mumbles’ bustling variety of shops, cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants. Blow the cobwebs away on the coastal path, golf courses and cycle routes, explore the famous beaches in Gower’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or relax enjoying the local attractions our village has to offer.
There is a spacious and comfortably furnished upstairs sitting room, with doors opening onto a balcony. To the front, there are views of the castle, Swansea Bay and, on a clear day, the Black Mountain in the Brecon Beacons. There is a smart TV with Netflix, DVD player and a selection of DVDs, board games and books.
On the ground floor there are three bedrooms: two doubles and a twin. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a freestanding bath and shower cubicle. There is also a shower room with walk-in shower and WC.
The fully equipped kitchen and utility room are next to the dining room, from which doors open onto the terrace and garden. There is garden furniture and a washing line, and guests have sole use of the lockable shed for storing surfboards, wetsuits, bikes and buggies. It's family friendly with high chair, travel cot and baby gate.

The view is endless skies and Swansea Bay and the room is only a ten minute walk from the famous Mumbles mile and the seaside.
The room is very quiet, at the back of the house, overlooking the garden and is very private. Fridge with tea and coffee making facilities is included. A light breakfast is available to be enjoyed in the room incl cereals, milk, orange juice and yoghurt. Please advise if you have any dietary requirements.

Your room has breathtaking views of Swansea Bay. Guests enter through the front door and straight up the stairs to their room which gives a considerable degree of privacy, peace and comfort. The room can accommodate up to two guests. You share the large family bathroom with just myself and my husband, Henry.
We have a beautiful garden with decking and two areas and guests are very welcome to use these facilities for relaxation.

Guests have access to their bedroom and bathroom. The room comes with a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.
The room does not include access to the kitchen however if you need anything special or are staying for a longer period, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you. Mumbles is a short walk/ drive away and here you will find many restaurants, cafes and bars to enjoy.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. If you’re looking for a very quiet peaceful road but so close to everything, this is the place. I’m a happy friendly person. The Garden Room is a quirky, colourful, peaceful and totally private space attached to our mid century property. It has its own external entrance, double bed and en-suite shower room. It is in a quiet yet convenient location for walking to the beaches, coastal path and village of Mumbles and makes a great base for an affordable and spontaneous short stay.

The space
You’ll be staying in a totally private, spotlessly clean and peaceful garden room. The style of the space reflects our mid-century bungalow, with large glazed panels, eclectic furniture and a colourful interior. It may not be suitable if you favour beige! There is an en-suite shower room with shower, toilet, sink, towels and toiletries.
Our house wraps around a central courtyard with a swimming pool in the centre (it was built in the 1960s by an architect who was influenced by his time in California!) and the garden room is located at the back of the house in one wing. Your room is completely private, very quiet and safe with a lockable door and you’ll have sole access to the external door leading to the room.
There is a kettle, mini fridge, tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits in your room . There is also crockery, cutlery and glasses. Please ask if you need anything else.
Please note that the entrance can be tricky for some people and the facilities in the room have limitations, hence the price, so please read the ‘OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE’ before booking.
If you wish to have a break from your car you can leave it outside the house for the duration of your stay and explore the beaches, coast and village on foot from our convenient location...

Guest access
Guests have sole use of the external door which leads directly to the garden room.
You’ll walk down a narrow path at the side of the house to the external glazed door and enter your room via a tiled entrance lobby.
The access can be a little tricky for people with mobility issues or if you are very tall as the path is narrow and there are 3 small steps with a low ceiling - you’ll need to duck - but once inside I hope you’ll find it beautiful, cosy, private and colourful!
Parking is in our private space next to the blue wall on the road or you may use our drive (but please ask so we don’t block you in!)
Our house is located halfway between the beach and village at the top of one of the many hills in mumbles!

There is usually someone at the house who can assist you with anything to ensure you are always comfortable and enjoying your stay. You can also contact Caroline directly on her mobile.

We enjoy interaction but we will also respect your privacy if you wish to be left alone. We don’t usually see our guests but there’s a chance we could bump into you on our drive!
Other things to note
This accommodation is only available for short spontaneous getaways and the calendar is not usually opened more than 2 weeks in advance.
The price and max length of stay reflects the limitations of the accommodation and although this will not impact your enjoyment you need to be aware before you book. Here’s the list - I believe I’ve thought of absolutely everything!
Although the room is on the ground floor the entrance can be a little tricky for some people, especially if you are very tall or have mobility issues.. It is accessed via a narrow path, a short door then 3 small steps and a low ceiling - you’ll need to duck!
The ensuite uses a macerator to get rid of water and waste (Like in a caravan bathroom) which prohibits the disposal of anything other than bodily waste and minimal toilet paper in the toilet. The waste water from the shower or sink are also on a saniflo system which sometimes makes a pumping sound whilst in use.
Although the shower screen is full height there is a slightly sloping ceiling which may be an issue if you’re very very tall!
The large glazed windows are partly frosted to provide privacy but allow the light in. The curtains have black out linings but may not be 100% light proof!
We are located at the top of a hill - one of many in Mumbles - but this means we are equidistant between the village and beaches:)
On the plus side, It is beautiful, clean and in a great location with free private parking directly outside the house and these limitations will not affect your enjoyment!
Even though the check in is listed as 4pm - 2am we can often be flexible - just ask!

This studio flat is newly refurbished and on the small side with low ceilings in places but has everything you need for a few days

All parts of the ground floor studio flat are exclusively for your use not shared with anyone else, with shower/toilet room, kitchen and lounge bedroom.

Mumbles is my favourite place in the world with boutique shops, restaurants and bars and the beaches close to hand
Getting around
There is free parking near by in Devon and Cornwall place or it’s £6 for 24 hours in paid spaces but usually there are free spaces. See uploaded picture for exact location

A unique and very quirky Studio Apartment (c. 500sq ft) set in a very tranquil and peaceful location, and yet with barely 1 mile Walk to the nearest breath taking bay that is Langland on the Gower Peninsula, which follows on to Caswell Bay and many other outstanding Beaches along a truly breathtaking coastal path. The lovely Village of Mumbles is also only a stroll down the road, bustling with some lovely boutique shops, coffee shops and wine bars.

Fully fitted and functional Kitchen with all the appliances you could ever need including a dish washer and even an ice maker! (we couldn’t possibly accommodate warm G&T’s! :-)
Accommodation comprises of a King Size Bed along with a large Sofa bed which can be available for further Guests.
Parking is also available for up to 2 Vehicles on a request basis. Along with EV Charging if required

Retreat to our unique, tranquil and quirky Surf Cottage.
Our Tiny Home is minutes away from the beautiful town of Mumbles. Walking distance to both Langland bay and Caswell bay beaches, perfect for relaxing or catching the waves.
PLEASE NOTE: It is warm and dry with a modern insulated roof, hot water etc But it’s close to nature, suited to the outdoorsy, adventurous soul, who doesn't mind the sound of rain outside or the occasional spider/creepy crawly that makes its way in from the garden. :)
The space
To find the Surf Cottage you enter through the gate between the on street houses and follow a narrow path to our Tiny Home. (See photos)
Once you enter the Surf Cottage gate, you'll be in your own Private Garden space.
Inside the Cottage you will find an open plan Kitchen/Living space and a wooden ladder takes you up to the mezzanine platform, the Sleeping area.
Just off the living space you have a tiny Bathroom with toilet and hot shower.
In the Kitchen area you have a sink, kettle, toaster, microwave, 1 hot plate & mini fridge for preparing food. You will also have cups, plates, utensils and a pot and pan to use.
In the Living area you have a sofa and super fast Fibre broadband (156Mbs - suitable for working/streaming).
PLEASE NOTE - It is a bit Quirky :) It is a rustic building with exposed beams and of traditional stone construction. Whilst it is warm and dry with hot water, mini-fridge etc, it is close to nature and suited to the more outdoorsy, adventurous soul.
1. There is just a sliding DOOR BETWEEN the living spaces and the BATHROOM area - NOT SOUND PROOF (please don't review us badly for this if this is a problem - we did the best we could in the space constraints.)
2. You will have to use the wooden ladder to climb into bed; the path to the cottage is a little steep - we recommend you bring hard bottomed slippers!
3. The Wood-burning stove is great but please bring your own WOOD, sadly WE CANNOT supply wood or fire-starters for it as we don't live on site. Sometimes previous guests will leave some behind. You can pick some up from Cash Hardware Store down on Newton road, or other shops like Captain’s Cabin (opposite Coop in Mumbles) or the Texaco garage (West Cross).
We do supply an electric heater as an additional heat source / back up if you run out of wood.
4. If you are a light sleeper I would recommend bringing ear plugs, in case the sound of rain is loud on the roof.
5. Our cleaners will always wipe it clean, but there might still be a few spiders during your stay - we have never had any issues, but if you have serious spider phobia this might not be the right type of spot for you.
6. If you are arriving in the winter please be aware that the building will be cold on arrival, and you will need to light a fire to bring the temperature up. While it is initially cold, and the thick stone walls take time to warm up, the roof is thermally insulated to 120% of that required by modern building standards, so it will retain heat once you have raised the temperature.
7. There is just 1 sink, in the kitchenette (no sink in the mini bathroom)
8. Clean fees - we know they are high :( We have professional cleaners and they aren't cheap - even more than what we charge - on the other hand we try make up for it by being a very affordable per night spot and also allowing shorter stays, although this means the clean fee (which we make no money on) might be higher than our nightly fee sadly. Please don't rate us down for this in the review.
9. We also have a HOT outdoor Shower - perfect for after a surf; this is just past the first gate (before you walk on the footpath towards the Surf Cottage gate) on the side of the house next door and, note!, is shared with this same house next door.
For larger groups, please note, we also have a traditional 2 bed Cottage next to the Surf Cottage, available to rent as well. Please message us as we are unable to insert the link.
Guest access
Access is up a steepish path; and access to the platform with King size bed is with a wooden Ladder.
Please make sure you are able to use of these before booking.
Parking:
There is some free on street parking available. The parking space directly in front of the house is ‘Resident permit’ only, and the Free parking for everyone starts one door down (and also a few doors up).
We can arrange a ‘Visitor parking permit’ on your behalf, the council charges £25 per week and the application must be made by us in advance, which we are happy to do on request.
If there is no parking available on the road (eg during peak school holidays) you can park a bit further down the hill, on the steep bit of Newton Road (drive down and turn left down the hill, following Newton Road).
Other things to note
Pets are welcome, but please:
- remember this is a tiny home, so you might find it too crowded with larger pets or more than 1 pet
- do not leave pets unattended and do not let them go on the couch or any furniture.
- All mess needs to be cleaned up, if not there may be a surcharge for someone to come clean it away.
A welcoming space in a bright, sunny room that is located on the edge of Gower, making it the perfect base to explore Mumbles and the Gower peninsula. The property is situated next to Clyne Golf Course and the private room has views over the fairways.
Located in Mayals, you can enjoy walks from the door across the golf course, through Clyne Park or along the promenade to Mumbles. It's a short drive to the Arena, Swansea University and Singleton hospital.
The room has private access and parking.
The space
The space comprises of a hallway (with double wardrobe) that is open plan to the bedroom. The bedroom has a wrought iron king size bed with Welsh tapestry blanket and sheepskins for cosiness. There is a desk and chair which serves as both a dressing table or a workspace for laptops.
There is a 43” smart TV which you can use to log into your streaming accounts such as Netflix, BBC iPlayer or Prime. You could also cast from your phone to the TV. There is good Wi-Fi throughout.
There is a mini fridge which will have fresh milk in it for you to make tea and coffee. There is a small ice box in it with an ice cube tray so you can enjoy ice in a G&T ;)
Both bedroom and hall are carpeted.
There is a large window which looks out over the garden and the golf course, providing pleasant views. There are often sheep and wild ponies roaming on the golf course too.
The room has a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities, a small microwave, cricket and cutlery. This isn’t a kitchen, but provides some essentials in the room if you needed to eat there.
There is a small, narrow bathroom with tiled floor and a heated towel rail. It has a sink, mirror, toilet and corner shower (water pressure isn’t very fast though).
Outside the front of the property is a little patio with chairs and a table where you can enjoy a glass of wine or cuppa in the afternoon sun.
Guest access
The accommodation is private and guests have their own front door with key safe for access. There is a driveway with gate in front of the house with parking in front of the property.
Other things to note
The accommodation is a lovely sunny bedroom and bathroom with tea and coffee making facilities. There are some great places to get breakfast locally – please let me know if you’d like some recommendations. Here are a few ideas:
Walk across the golf course to the Wildflower Café (40 mins walk)
Stroll down through Clyne park to The Junction cafe in Blackpill (25 mins walk / 3 mins drive).
Head to Mumbles where there are lots of cafes and restaurants (8 mins drive).
The hot water in the shower can take about 30 seconds to come through. Please be patient ;)
