Our 18th Century Townhouse is a stones throw from the beautiful Victorian Aberystwyth seafront. It’s sweeping bay is great for west coast sunset viewing and strolling up and down the promenade. The prom, beach, shops and places to eat are footsteps away.

Short term room only + long term stays, suiting professionals and post graduate students well. It has a small double bed (4ft x 6ft) and good wifi.

There is also a shared street level office work space with desks and free printing available

The space
The house is a three storey townhouse, with two private lockable bedsit-esque rooms. For many years the building was a theology college/office, so it's a little quirky. Overall it’s a quiet, private and easy going place where you’ll occasionally bump into someone in the stairwell or corridor. It’s very easy to do your own thing. There’s two bathrooms, with showers, that you'll share with just one or two other guests. We live nearby. There is good wifi.

Long term guests receive large discounts and in return are expected to keep shared areas clean and tidy in return for low cost accommodation. These include the room, kitchen and bathroom.

There’s a shared stairwell and alleyway via a pink door on King Street.

We live here in our self contained flat and are here or nearby working. We are busy but happy to chat, advise and help if needed. We’re well travelled and Hannah speaks Welsh, German and some french.

Other things to note
One or two other guests living here. The house is in the heart of this vibrant university town. The seafront is approximately 20metres away. We near the pier and a deli opposite. You will hear seagulls and potentially people on the street outside such as a Friday or Saturday night. Apart from those times it's pretty quiet. Use the secondary glazing and internal shutters to cut out noise for sleeping. They do work well if you want absolute quiet.

The space
The house is totally self contained, there are all the usual facilities that you need for day to day living. There is a rear garden patio area that is a great sun trap in the summer, a small shed to store bicycles if you are planning a cycling holiday/break. full WiFi and good mobile phone coverage on most networks. Close enough to walk into town for a night out where there are a variety of pubs and restaurants to cater for most tastes. plenty of country side within easy reach for walks and sight seeing or there's the Devils Bridge railway if you fancy a trip on the narrow gauge railway. In the town there's the cliff railway with a restaurant and camera obscure at the top of the cliff where you have views over the whole of the town and the Cardigan bay coastline....some stunning views!! A 25 minute drive up the A44 will take you to Nat Yr Arian visitor center where there is the Red Kite feeding lakes which are well worth the visit.

Other things to note
Although there is a lane that the house is on, it is a single lane that leads to other houses. There is NO parking on the lane or at the top of the lane as this is all private drive way to the other houses. If needed you may use the lane to load/unload your car on arrival/departure but be warned the road access via car is on a corner so it is strongly advised that you park across the road and carry your belongings over.

Enjoy the setting of this lovely bell tent nestled in the corner of our nature based campsite. Inside you will find all you need for a short stay, a comfortable double bed with all the bedding for a cosy night. A small kitchen you can make tea/coffee or breakfast and simple meals. There is a charging point for you phones and bedside lights that run off a 12vault leisure battery. Outside of the tent there is plenty of outside space to spread out and enjoy the birdsong, a fire or the stars!

The space
The bell tent is lush, airy, fuss free and tranquil. It is ideal for two people but it’s 5 meters across so you could definitely get extra people in, however you would need to bring extra beds and bedding for this .

Fire pit provided but you will need to bring your own wood.

Clarach bay is a short easy walk through fields 10-15 mins. At the bay there is a two places where you can get food and drink, in the holiday village there is also a little shop. The beach is in a sheltered cove so the sea can be very calm, ideal for paddle boarding.
