Spacious bedroom ideally suited to single person or couples for shorter stays. The room offers drawers and hanging space on the back of the bedroom door for clothes. The room also benefits from 32 inch TV with freeview.

The space
Modern, comfortable and clean home. The property has two bathrooms and as I live alone, this allows guests sole use of one. TV with built in DVD and free view situated within bedroom.

Kitchen facilities are available for microwave use/small meal prep, as well as for making complimentary tea & coffee. All I ask is consideration is given to fridge space and clearing up.

The bedroom is a comfortable size for 1 or 2 people but may not be suitable for 2 people sharing for longer stays. I'm open to answering any questions prior to booking.

I have a friendly hypoallergenic puppy in the house who remains downstairs at all times.

A traditional bungalow in a beautiful rural area. Two double rooms available with a shared bathroom are upstairs. A five minute walk into Pencoed and the train station with easy access to Cardiff and Swansea. Long term stay is welcome. My husband and I live in this house, it is not an empty home just in case people expect it to be, just making people aware due to C-19.
Also, we do not allow any pets.

Guests are able to use the kitchen to make tea and coffee and use of the microwave. If guests wish me to cook a full English breakfast I will for £5 per head.

Guests may also feel free to use the garden to sit in and relax if the weather allows. There is a good safe area for parking as there is a long drive behind gates. Southerndown on the Bristol Channel, which is part of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, is 12 miles away. Other local attractions include Bryngarw House, Ogmore Castle, Merthyr Mawr sand dunes, St. Fagans National History Museum and Porthcawl seaside resort where the annual Elvis festival is held.
It is an approximate one hour drive to the Gower Coast with world renowned beaches and the Welsh Coast Path. At 870 miles this is the largest continuous costal path in the world.
For walking enthusiasts - the Brecon Beacons are also within a comfortable driving distance of one hour where you will find Pen-Y-Fan, a very popular destination and the highest point in South Wales.

This is an unusual cottage with character and charm and my home.

I have a small double bedroom and also a small single room that is available. You will share the shower bathroom with myself. Downstairs there is a lovely lounge room with TV and log burner leading out to an original stone walled courtyard. There is a kitchen that is shared with myself.
The cottage is very quirky, warm and comfortable.
surfboards, cycles can be kept in the courtyard as long as you can secure them safely.
Seagull Cottage is on the main road of Southerndown in the Vale of Glamorgan. The coastline is Heritage Coast. The area is of outstanding beauty. I hold for my guests maps, historical articles as well as safety tips and the sea has the 2nd highest tidal system in the world brushing alongside 300' cliffs, without barriers. Horses, sheep, dogs on leads, tractors, cyclists, joggers, surfers, walkers and runners all use the road outside the cottage.
The Bay is called Dunraven Bay, wide sands pebbled and fossilised rocks the introduction.
Horseriding, Castles, Lighthouse, Roman ruins, Estuary and River Ogmore, Sand dunes, sunken ships, pirate stories, so much to see in a natural environment of Red Kites, Sea Eagles, and other wildlife. It it is best to come here by car, however we do have a bus service (hourly).

Great for walkers, surfers and beach lovers. You can use our body board, dry bag, dry robes and towels if you fancy braving the water for a dip or riding the waves. We also have 2 friendly cats who may want to say hello when you arrive but we encourage keeping the doors closed on your two rooms, to keep it cat free.

This prime location guest room has everything that is needed for a short stay. Set in a residential area its convenient for work related stays and leisure. Jo is a registered dog walker and if needed, could mind your dog during the day (extra charges will apply). Pencoed is a 20 minute drive from the nearest beach, 20 minute drive from Cardiff City Centre and 40 minutes from Swansea. Beautiful local walks, scenery, shops and beaches just a short drive away.

The space
This large recently refurbished stylish room is separate from the main house. It contains a double bed and large pull-out sofa bed if required, suitable for teenager/ 2 small children (at a push). The room has a private ensuite shower and toilet. There is also a fridge, freezer, microwave and coffee/tea making facilities. It has its own picket fenced area to allow privacy if wanted or to allow pets to have their own run area.
Located five minutes drive from the M4 motorway junction 35 and 10 minutes walk from Pencoed Railway Station.
It is a very convenient for the Dragon Studios, Bridgend and Cardiff.
Pets are welcome but please be mindful that I do have two Welsh Sheepdogs of my own. They are both very socialised and usually out on walks throughout the day. Please, out of courtesy could you let me know prior to booking what pet you re bringing, if any. They will need to be house trained for the purpose of non- pet booking guests.

We do have an outside plug that can be used for electric cars, although not designed for that purpose. If this is used to re-charge your car there will be an additional £10 charge per day.

It's peaceful, apart for some traffic noise during the day, and central to all amenities and a railway station which is a 5 minute walk. A bus stop is across the road and a local taxi company for longer trips. The annex is a converted double garage with a single bedroom, lounge and kitchen, next door to the main detached bungalow. These two properties stand on a small private estate of three dwellings, ours, and two others belonging to members of the same family, all accessed via a private secluded drive. The rooms in the annex could be described as cosy, with a large kitchen.

Guest access
The whole of the annex is for your exclusive use, as is the 100' garden, and we have a large car park at the front of the building which can accommodate many vehicles. You may come and go as you please and we are quite secluded, located at the end of a private drive.
