Tregirls is a modern yet traditional property, comfortably furnished for holiday living. It is perfect for couples and families. It is perfect for a cosy winter break with a large, effective electric woodburner and the ability to close off the sitting room. In the summer it is bright and airy, the open plan living area opening into the fully enclosed garden.
It is equipped for holidaying with children with a fab bunk/play room and a new kitchen for 2023. It is close to the picturesque village of Port Isaac and a 10 minute drive from beaches including Polzeath famous for it's surfing, Daymer Bay for windsurfing and sand castles and a few minutes further to Rock for it's sheltered sailing and water sports (SUP, water skiing, wakeboarding). Golf, swimming and tennis are also nearby. The spectacular coastline can be seen from the bedrooms and there are footpaths from Pendoggett both to the coast (Port Gaverne with The Pilchards Tapas Restaurant) and inland. The local pub is a hop across the road and there are many other pubs and restaurants close by.
NB: bed linen and towels are not included to keep the rental cost down but can be provided at an additional cost of £10/person payable separately.

The Beech Hut is in the centre of pretty St Kew village in a private garden where you can BBQ and laze on the ample decking or lunch in the garden listening to the stream flowing by. You can sample some of the best pub food in Cornwall at the Inn on your door step, along with traditional Cornish Ales. In the winter the log burner will keep you cosy (logs supplied) as will the Chimnea if you're eating al fresco on the deck. The garden is frequently visited by Barn and Tawny owls as well as a variety of other wild birds and colourful butterflies. During your stay it's easy to visit a different port or beach each day of the week as well as discovering excellent walking along the coastal path and on Bodmin Moor. Water skiing, kayaking, coasteering, sea fishing and surfing are available within less than a half hour drive. In under an hour you can take in the delights of the south coast by visiting Fowey, Looe, the Eden project and Heligan. Cyclists have a variety of off and on road routes to try out as well as mountain biking at Lanhydrock and Cardinham Woods. There are 18 miles of off road, level cycling on the Camel Trail including the popular Wadebridge to Padstow leg, lured by Rick Stein's fish and chips or posher grub. We can also share with you our own favourite routes to take in sea views or a wealth of indie cafés. Climbing enthusiasts will enjoy visiting Magic Wood as a great wet weather activity for both novices and the more experienced. If you're coming to relax, wind down and enjoy the beaches, Polzeath, Rock, Daymer Bay and Trebarwith Strand are just some of the many beautiful local options. The Beech hut is suitable for stays in all weather with covered decking for BBQ, DVD player, a collection of DVDs and books which you are invited to borrow or add to, and a log fire for chilly evenings. Hollyhock Cottage is on the ground floor of the converted barn and provides a comfortable retreat from it all. The kitchen is well equipped and a door opens to the patio area where there is a table and chairs. The main bedroom has an ensuite shower There are two acres of gardens shared only with Appletree cottage and we are surrounded by fields. The only sounds you are likely to hear are the sheep and birds!

In the heart of the idyllic village of St Kew near Port Issac, a comfortable converted barn for 4 people set within wonderful peaceful gardens with woodland and a stream. Nestled below the village church of St James and a short walk from the renowned St Kew Inn. Ideally located close to Port Isaac, Polzeath, Rock and Padstow. A wonderful private place to retreat to after a day at the beach, sightseeing or walking the coastal path.

Please note changeover day is Saturday unless otherwise agreed with the owner.

The property has many features including as wooden beams, exposed stone walls, a wood burner and lovely views of the garden and the church.

Little Barn is a very warm and welcoming space, comprising an open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with a new log burner. Downstairs are a bathroom (bath and overhead shower) and two bedrooms: one double and one L-shaped bunk room. The top bunk has reduced headroom (see photos).

Upstairs there is a mezzanine bedroom with kingsize bed set back to provide privacy.

The house sits within its own private courtyard garden with access to the stream and woodland area. In spring and summer the garden is full of ferns, magnolias, clematis and roses. The graveled area to the side of the house is a perfect place for drinks and a barbecue. The woodland area and stream are magical and great fun for exploring and den building. The stream will lead you to a lovely ford and footbridge.

The garden has lovely views of the XVth century village church and if you are lucky you may hear the bells! The St Kew Inn is a very short walk away , a great pub for a drink and a meal.

There is a is ample parking space for 4 cars.

Days by the beach near Padstow or a visit to historic Charlestown are both less than half an hour away with an abundance of other Cornish highlights never far away. The Lanhyrock Estate is only five minutes from the front door giving you lots of options to enjoy.

The modern and stylish, The Barn in Lanhydrock is a fantastic base for exploring he best of Cornwall, although we get the sneaking suspicion that the comfortable and homely barn might well be the star of the show.

Two sacks of logs, a fire lighter and kindling is available to use for the wood fired hot tub. If additional sacks of logs are required, they can be purchased locally within a 10 minute drive.

Good Housekeeping Bond
We ask our guests for a £150 good housekeeping bond, which is pre-authorised against your card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no claim. We will contact you nearer the time of your arrival to arrange this.

The wood-fired hot tub takes about 3 to 4 hours to heat fully, so please allow plenty of time. Fill to the bottom line, keep a gentle fire going, and stir the water occasionally for even heating

- "Lovely Barn outbuilding which has been extended as a barn conversion. Great space, good size double bedrooms with ensuites, with a smaller bedroom which has 2 small metal singles in them. A seperate family bathroom. The kitchen diner, family room was really comfortable and spacious. The outside area is large with plenty of upright seating area. The only difficulty we had was it was all stoned, no grass, so walking was difficult for those with mobility issues. Close to the main highway, so quite a bit of traffic noise in the distance. Overall a lovely venue and location and would recommend to others."

Needs a washing machine and dryer though. Also there was a bad smell of damp which I think was due to how much rain Cornwall has had over the last 2 months, but it didn't ruin our stay. We welcome responsible dog owners and their pets. Dogs stay free and can be walked in all areas of the land but for the safety and enjoyment of both your pooch and other guests, we ask that they always remain on leads, that they don't cause a nuisance to other guests and that you pick up after them. We do not accept dogs that are on the banned dogs list or XL Bullies (even with an exemption certificate.)

There’s a max. of 2 dogs allowed. Dogs shouldn't be left alone in the cottage and aren't allowed on the furniture. Don't forget their bedding and bowls. If needs be, we can offer either a dog sitting service or a 'dog watching' service.

The field hut is situated in the open countryside of North Cornwall. A self contained accommodation that offers everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay in Cornwall.
The interior of the field hut offers a double bedroom with amazing bedside views, the open plan living area is both practical and comfortable with a cosy and romantic atmosphere. The kitchen facilities are adequate to cater for 2 guests and a bbq is also provided. There is a en-suite shower room with wash basin. Detached from the hut but only steps from the front door is the compost toilet. The interior and exterior of the field hut has been thoughtfully designed and created to make everyone’s stay as relaxing as possible. This spacious detached bungalow is set in a quiet cul-de-sac in Bodmin directly opposite the Dragon Leisure Centre. Here you will discover all sporting activities including a full sized swimming pool with water slide and baby pool. Lanhydrock House, which is part of the National Trust, is a one mile drive from the property or perfect for a leisurely stroll to take in the beautiful views. Lanhydrock golf club is only a few minutes away too where non-members are able to play or you can enjoy the outside terrace area to unwind with a drink and watch the players. Bodmin & Wenford Railway is very close by as are Bodmin moors which are easily accessible via the nearby A30 dual carriageway.
The bungalow has a good sized driveway with enough space to accommodate four cars and a pretty front garden with a patio area.
Upon entering the bungalow you are greeted by a large hallway and cloak cupboard. To the right of the front door there is a bedroom with a double bed, double wardrobe and an en-suite shower room. Directly opposite the front door, is an entrance leading to the outside area which hosts a large garden table and chairs - perfect for al fresco dining in the warmer weather. A bbq is available for use too. There are steps from here that lead up to the lawn area where there is another patio with table and chairs. This part of the garden is the perfect place to catch the last of the sunshine and see the sun setting over the golf course.
Returning to the hallway, a kitchen is situated at the end of it. This has all the essentials that are needed in a kitchen including a table and four chairs. A large utility room leads from this room. It has a freezer, hostess trolley, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave for use. There is also another back door. From the kitchen area there is a large archway that takes you into the dining area. The beautiful oak furniture seats 8 people. The bungalow is very open planned and there is another archway that leads from the dining area to three little steps into the spacious lounge where there is plenty of comfortable sofas & fireplace.
There are three remaining bedrooms situated at the back of the bungalow, two of which are doubles (one has an en-suite shower room) whilst the other bedroom has a single bed in it. The comfiest of beds are dressed with crisp white linen and all rooms are tastefully decorated. The main bathroom is also in this part of the bungalow. Good internet and wi-fi is available.
Bodmin has a vast amount of tourist attractions as well as stunning beaches close by. It is in the perfect location to reach the north coast (Polzeath, Port Isaac, Daymer Bay, Harlyn, Newquay to name just a few) which is a 25 minute drive away and a 20 minute drive in the opposite direction takes you to the south coast (Polkerris, Fowey, Charlestown, Carlyon Bay). The museum at Bodmin Jail has recently opened and makes an interesting visit for all ages where you can afterwards wine and dine too. In the local town there are plenty of pubs/restaurants and shops. Cardinham Woods has great walks, cycle tracks, cafe and play area. The Camel trail is in easy reach and depending on how energetic you are feeling you can cycle as far as Wadebridge or Padstow and even stop off at the Camel Valley vineyard to experience wine tasting and tours. The well known Eden Project is close by too.
Overall the bungalow offers a high standard of accommodation, within easy reach of local amenities and tourist attractions.

Towerhill is a stunning 15th century property that has been added to over the years and is one of the oldest homes in Bodmin. This Grade II listed building has been carefully restored by the owner, whose family bought the property back in the 18th century. A dwelling on the site has even been mentioned in the Domesday Book.
Towerhill has many original features and family memorabilia displayed in spacious rooms, providing a warm and welcoming environment for guests to enjoy.
What was once the Manorial Courtroom, leading from the downstairs hallway, has now become an elegantly dressed drawing room. With a mix of period and modern furniture, large shuttered windows and a wood stove for winter evenings, these features create a magical feeling of stepping back in time. The ceiling displays the original Tudor Rose motif and the back wall is decorated with a map of Cornwall, the work of cartographer William Mudge (1762-1820) a founding figure of the Ordnance Survey in 1791.

Near the drawing room is what was once the dining area. Again, with much devoted time and thought, it has been tastefully decorated and repurposed into a second lounge. The walls are clad with striking green ‘grasscloth’ paper and framed portraits of clockmaker ancestors, the Bellings. This is a perfect place for pre-dinner drinks or for afternoon tea, using the bone china crockery in the curved, Queen Anne Spice cupboard.
The large kitchen houses a restored wooden farmhouse table, perfect for family and group meals. The kitchen has been updated with modern equipment, including dishwasher and microwave. An oven and hob are available, as well as a working Esse cooker, that keeps the house warm in winter. The nearby larder has extra storage for kitchen items and food.
Leading from the hallway, a large staircase leads to five bedrooms, each with their own unique furnishings and decor. The largest bedroom has a Tudor barrel-vaulted ceiling and wooden Tester bed. Another bedroom has original oak beams and a high, pitched ceiling. Two other bedrooms have newly fitted en-suites and the refurbished main bathroom houses a shower, free standing bath and double sink unit.
Please note, Towerhill is an old property with sloping floors, low doors and high steps to some rooms. This house may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
Towerhill has a large, well established, secure rear garden with plenty of outside furniture where one can take time to enjoy the sunshine and views from the higher part of the garden. St Petroc's Church is close by, so expect to hear the bells. For family gatherings and groups with a service at the church, Towerhill is the perfect place nearby, as the property can accommodate up to ten guests comfortably.
The town is also historic as Bodmin was once the County capital and is positioned in central Cornwall, ideal for access to the north and south coast beaches, as well as other great tourist destinations within the County.

- "We loved our family stay at Towerhill. It is a beautifully and meticulously restored historic house. One gorgeous bedroom dates from 1614; the family has been there since 1794. There are excellent mod cons that are beautifully blended, and which make it home-y and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed as are the baths, and the beds are comfortable. It is beautifully decorated and there is much family history - including a gorgeous engraved map of Cornwall that was created by an ancestor. Two sitting rooms and a beautiful garden with tables and seating make many comfortable gathering spaces for meals, games and conversation. The location is convenient to shopping for eating in, and close to an award winning pub for eating out. Bodmin itself is a wonderful central location: easy trips to restaurants in the other towns, and convenient for excursions to the north coast, the south coast and many other places / attractions. It’s very near wonderful walks on Bodmin Moor as well as along the Fowey River and on parkland near Lanhydrock (a super National Trust house.). Richard, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, and a mine of information on places to visit, as well as on the house and its history. There was a lovely welcome basket of goodies plus get-started fridge supplies, including all the makings of a proper cream tea, a bottle of Prosecco, and milk, eggs, butter and bread. I would love to stay here again!"

This 4 bedroom family home in an excellent location in North Cornwall is the perfect location for a family holiday close to local beaches, Port Gaverne , Rock and Polzeath and a ten minute drive to Port Isaac (just over 4 miles).

My place has field views, but close to the town. It is close to ... public transport (bus stop 50 yards), the airport (20 miles), Train station (3.5 miles). Nature reserve (100 yards), Bodmin & Wenford Steam Railway (0.3 miles, 2 mins walk), town park & town centre (0.5 miles). Good for solo adventurers and business travellers.
Bodmin is Cornwall’s first cycle town.

The space
The house is next to a field, a stones throw from Bodmin Beacon local nature reserve and a 10 min walk into the town centre. Close to the Camel Trail which is an hours cycle ride to Padstow and conveniently central in Cornwall, so it's quick and easy to get to the North or South coast.

BED & BREAKFAST at The Bothy close to Bodmin Moor, Cardinham Woods, National Trust Lanhydrock, half an hour from north and south coast and just off major A30 and A38. No TV but guests are welcome to relax in our pretty gardens. Delicious English breakfast is includrd in the price, served using local ingredients, home-made bread and preserves, other menus catered for.

A traditional and professional B & B, meeting all the standards of nationally recognized assessment schemes, offering peace and quiet and friendly, personal service. The Bothy, is a little building separate to the house (about 5 yards). This is ideal for the single traveller.

There is a comfy single bed with high quality linen, cupboard with hanging space and shelves, bedside table, radio and stool. A refreshment tray including selection of teas, filter coffee, and complimentary biscuits. We supply fresh milk.

The room is heated with electric panel heater and heated towel rail in the en-suite bathroom which has a shower. Do ask if you wish you use any other facilities such as an iron. Free WiFi is available in The Bothy.

Outside there is a small terraced area with table and seating where guests are welcome to relax or use the Orangery.

Quiet room upstairs in a lovely family house on the edge of a small village, with shared bathroom including bath with low shower over, Double bed but room suitable for single only. Tea and coffee making facilities, and proper milk. We are situated 25 minutes from south and north Cornish coast and 20 minutes from the Eden Project.
The bed linen may not be the colour shown in the photo as we have several sets we use in that room.
There is fast wifi but NO television available in this room.

This room is located in a lovely house set in six acres of grounds and gardens, very private but right near the Camel trail cycle route. Also on the route for LEJOG.
The room has a bathroom with bath and shower over ( note low ceiling so low shower).
Shared fridge and microwave for guests. NO breakfast is provided with this room but there is some basic cereal available in the room in case you forgot to bring anything with you. Super fast WiFi is available.

Guests have access to the front gardens if they wish, but not the field areas, and under cover secure parking for bikes can be provided. Please ask if you need car charging.
