The house is very private, nobody walking past your door. It benefits from one of the best views in Salcombe overlooking Whitestrand Quay and on towards South Pool in the distance. It has parking for one car.
Lakeside is situated above the church right in the centre of Salcombe. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac off Onslow Road with no passing traffic.
Lakeside is a modern house and originally designed as a holiday home. In early 2000 it was extended to take advantage of the wonderful view. It was converted to include two new bedrooms and a large open plan living area that has hosted some wonderful family holidays, not only in the summer, but throughout the year.
The house is fully equipped with all mod cons. It sleeps 6 comfortably, but can accommodate 8. There is one large double room and three twin rooms with one bunk room with adult size beds with lots of head room. One bathroom with bath and shower and large airing cupboard. One shower room and another separate loo.
The scaffolding in front of the house has now been removed and the view restored.

Catnip House is a wonderful place to relax and unwind with with breathtaking views of the estuary and the surrounding unspoilt countryside. Minutes from beautiful sandy beaches with the option of hiring a mooring for a boat just below the house so you can explore the estuary.
The house has five bedrooms with three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite. It is family friendly with books and games for all whatever your age!
The famous harbour and estuary, popular with sailors and other water sports enthusiasts, is within 2 minute’s walk from the house whilst the shops, bars and restaurants of Salcombe can be reached via a small passenger ferry that runs from the East Portlemouth throughout the year.
The house is suitable for couples, families or groups of friends. It is available to rent for just a limited number of weeks each year. It has underfloor heating making it cosy and comfortable and has been tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard. It is a home for all seasons.
It has a lovely lounge with amazing views, a separate TV room and large kitchen with woodburning stove.
There is also a hot tub in the large garden to relax in whatever the time of year.
The surrounding countryside is spectacular we are minutes from the golden beaches of East Portlemouth and the South West coastal path.

Shalimar is an exceptional detached property, perfectly designed and furnished for a one or two family holiday with fantastic communal space. It is located within the seaside town of Salcombe, within walking distance to the town centre. The child and pet friendly house is furnished with comfort and fun in mind. Its main room benefits from floor to ceiling, 4 paned concertino doors, providing access to a large balcony with superb views to Kingsbridge and, on a clear day Dartmoor. It is modern presented, with a well equipped kitchen for real cooking afficinados, and it is located near the Spar for last minute ingredients or fresh bread in the morning. There is also a garden and ample parking for two - three cars. It has everything you need for small ones, including a dedicated play room with an activity table, junior bedand cot. There is table football and a digital TV for the bigger kids. The house is recently refurbished throughout to a high standard with 5 bedrooms and multiple bathrooms, including 3 en-suite.
This house is ideally furnished for two families, with a mix of super king, king, single and bunk beds, sleeping upto 6 adults and 11 in total. Additionally there is a junior bed and a pop-up cot. It can also work well for a group of friends.

The sitting area is a lovely light room with oak flooring and plenty of seating. The first floor has a large double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a double bunk rooms and a family bathroom. To the second floor there is the master double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a cosy double room. There is parking for 1 car at the rear or parking on the street at the front of the house.

Perched on the hillside a 5 min walk from the water and the centre of Salcombe, Blue Haze is blessed with views across the town and the water. The five-bedroom property is accessible from two sides, and you enter on the top floor.
Park the car at the bottom of the steps and walk up or drop the luggage at the front door first. Then step into a newly refurbished holiday home with high ceilings, modern conveniences, lots of space and easy access to the beaches, shops and favourite features that Salcombe has to offer.
The first floor is home to an open hallway with space to put coats and shoes. To the right you will find the master bedroom with a Kingsize bed, an en suite bathroom with overhead shower, plenty of wardrobe space and a Juliet balcony so you can open the double doors and take in the blue skies outside.
Also on the first floor is an open plan living, kitchen and dining area complete with a flatscreen TV, plenty of seating and glass doors leading onto a wraparound decking area. The deck has seating for 10 as well as a barbeque ready and waiting for you to bring back the catch of the day. A glass balustrade allows you to make the most of views.
Head downstairs and on the second floor you will find four more bedrooms including a King size room with an en suite shower and outdoor patio area, a twin room, a bunk room and another King size bedroom with en suite. There’s also a separate family bathroom complete with a bath and overhead shower. Another favourite feature is the snug, featuring a second flatscreen TV, large window and beanbag seating – perfect for crashing out after a day at the beach.

Tucked away in the heart of “Old” Salcombe’s boatyards and artisan boutiques, this end of terrace cottage has been decorated to a high standard, to suit both family beach holidays and "out of season" walkers. Located in a quiet cul de sac, it is nonetheless just 150 yards from Victoria Quay and two-minutes level walk from the harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants of Salcombe. It has three bedrooms, an upstairs "snug" lounge and a pleasant small roof terrace with views of Batson Creek and the Snape Hills beyond.
The property benefits from a location within easy walking distance of both Salcombe's amenities and the countryside towards Batson and the Snape Hills. At the same time it enjoys a secluded location away from noisy "through-traffic" at busy times.

Parking - As with most properties in the older part of Salcombe there is no parking outside the house. The "Creek" long stay carpark is located just across Shadycombe Creek a few hundred yards away. Tickets can be bought by the day and the Tourist Information Office and the newsagent will sell a weekly ticket if required.
Mooring - There is boat access at the end of the street for about three hours either side of high tide (please check tide tables). This is "loading and unloading" point and not for long term mooring.

Magdala is a 5 bedroom maisonette ideally located 3 minutes walk from the centre of Salcombe in an elevated position offering stunning estuary views. New for 2022 the property offers 1 allocated parking space a couple of minutes walk away and allows 1 dog subject to a fee.
The property is accessed up a small set of steps onto a raised patio that’s ideal for storing wetsuits, paddle boards and beach gear during your stay. There’s an outside hose for rinsing water sports gear and salty dogs!
You enter the property into an open hallway with adequate space shoes and coats for all guests.
To the right on the ground floor is the open plan living, kitchen and dining room. Spend your time here entertaining at the large dining table or lounging on the sofas looking at the view and watching the Smart TV. The room has bifold doors that lead to a balcony with a table and chairs and affording some of the most stunning views that Salcombe has to offer.
The kitchen is spacious and modern with everything you need for your stay including double electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and large fridge freezer.
To the left of the entrance hall is the first of the two ground floor bedrooms with a bunk bed and adequate storage. The second bedroom is to the rear of the property and offers views over the town and 2 single beds. The bedroom also has an en suite shower room and plenty of storage. The ground floor also has a second bathroom with shower enclosure and toilet just off the hallway, there is no bath.
Head upstairs to an open landing area and the master bedroom is to the right offering stunning views from the bed and window seat as well as a Queen size bed and basin.
On the first floor there’s a family bathroom with shower enclosure and toilet, there is no bath. Two further bedrooms are on this floor. The first has 2 singles beds and the second has a double bed.
Recommended for: Families and groups of friends. The proximity to town by foot allows easy access to explore the shops, pubs, restaurants, and to catch the ferry to the stunning of beaches of East Portlemouth. Magdala is also situated next to the recently refurbished Courtenay Children’s Park complete with climbing frames, swings and much more.

The Following review was posted by a 2016 guest; We visited Salcombe having not been to the English coast for far too long. I'd studied several options and then came across Lower Deck in Salcombe and opted for this; swayed by the beautiful scenery and the pool. On arriving at about 4pm on a glorious Friday afternoon, we felt utterly whisked away into an idyllic, relaxing haven of tranquility. Immediately on walking through the front door, the property evokes the feeling of luxury and relaxation. The bottle of chilled champagne in the fridge was a nice touch. The house is newly decorated throughout to an extremely high standard with no expense spared. The tall ceilings make it feel spacious and the window in the dining room is a great feature, allowing not only light to flood in, but also a view of the sea to die for (the window seat here was a favourite spot in the morning for coffee). The property is also very conveniently located; a short walk one way takes you into town, offering restaurants, lovely pubs and an array of fashionable shops. Turning the other way leads you down to North Sands Beach and the famous Winking Prawn; then after a re-charge of Prosecco at South Sands Hotel, extends out to an inspiring coastal walk around Bolt Head, which is an absolute 'must' at around sunset as the light makes the headland glow and you forget all about the hustle and bustle of daily life. In conclusion, Salcombe has to be the most unspoilt gem of the British coastal crown, and Lower Deck is the perfect place from which to enjoy this treasure. David

Equidistant from the beach in one direction and the centre of town in the other, 13 Landmark Road is a chic three-bedroom holiday home on a quiet residential street at the top of Salcombe. Facing west, it offers stunning countryside views and is the perfect spot for evening BBQ's after a day at the beach watching the sun set. The beach can be accessed by foot in 20 minutes & town in 15 minutes.
Stepping through the front door you enter the hallway, off which you will find a WC, a utility space with storage for coats and boots, and the first bedroom complete with 2 singles and a modern en suite shower room.
Head up the stairs and you will find an open plan living/dining space to the right, with the kitchen sectioned off with ample worktop space and allowing for conversation and convivial time together while you’re preparing lunch and dinner.
The lounge has two sofas and a Smart TV, while the dining space seats at least six on a stylish wooden table. The whole room is very light and the large window highlights the the star feature of the upstairs area - the far reaching views across to the village of Malborough.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for an easy holiday including Nespresso machine and Electric Hob & Oven. A door from the kitchen leads out towards a large decking area to the back of the property, with exceptional views of the surrounding countryside, and offers a charming space to sit and enjoy evening drinks or use the gas BBQ to cook dinner.
The first floor also has two bedrooms. The Master bedroom offers a King Size bed with plenty of space and natural light. There's also an en suite shower room and facing the fields, you can enjoy views of the rolling Devon hills outside when you wake up in the morning.

Conveniently, the property has a private driveway with space for two cars at the front.

Moorview is a well-equipped, two bedroom detached bungalow with a very large conservatory and secure garden at the rear. It's set back from the road leaving ample parking for two cars and a small dinghy. An extremely relaxing setting for a holiday in Salcombe with only a short walk to town where you will find a superb choice of shops, restaurants, coffee bars. A favourite walk is down Beadon Lane to North Sands. The nearest grocery shop/post office is only a few minutes walk away.
The space
Our nice bright hallway leads to – one king-size bedroom and one double. In each room, you will find plenty of storage space and a hair dryer. Linen and towels are provided and the beds made up ready for your arrival. The hall leads on to the well-equipped kitchen which includes a double oven cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, Air-fryer, Nespresso coffee machine etc. The modern bathroom is also off the hall with an excellent walk-in shower. Our comfortable living room has two sofas (one a bed settee - suitable for one adult or 2 children), 50” Samsung TV and double French doors which lead to the very large conservatory, which has a lounge and dining area, TV and a discrete unit housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. You will have a wonderful view of Dartmoor from here. Just a step through the patio doors takes you out to the decking area which has plenty of room for al fresco dining or just relaxing with a drink and a good book. Our large secure garden is perfect for our doggie visitors and family ball games!

Guests have access to the entire property. This is a private detached home, set back from the road.

Up to 2 extra guests may stay using the sofabed found in the living room (Most suitable for one adult or 2 children - there will extra charges for guests using the sofabed)
Linen and towels are included. Our additional cleaning charge includes bed linen and towels. You will find all sorts of extras to make your stay special, including kitchen essentials and your first brew of coffee and tea including milk.
For the doggies, a dog bed is available on request. Also, dog bowls, covers for the furniture, dog towels and an outside table with hose to wash them down after the beach. Some poo bags are provided, please clear the garden. An extra charge of £30 per dog will be added once you have made your booking.
If you venture into the shed you will find a selection of toys and equipment to take down to the beach or for crab fishing down on the quay.

Kingsize Double bed ensuite room (Twin Beds NOT available) in a private house in a quiet area in Salcombe Devon. Enjoy superb views of The Estuary by Batson Creek and over the surrounding countryside. Parking for one car. Regrettably the room is not suitable for children, infants nor pets.
It's an 8-10 minute walk down to Salcombe town to the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Salcombe is perfect for days on sandy beaches, coastal walking, sailing, boating trips, kayaking and paddle-boarding.
The space
The room is let with a Kingsize bed (Twin beds NOT available). It is equipped with Wi-fi, tv/radio, mini fridge, complimentary beverage tray and hairdryer. Microwave is provided. An iron and ironing board are provided when requested. The en-suite facilities include, electric shower, WC, wash hand basin and heated towel rail. Towels and toiletries are provided. The room is serviced every 3/4 days unless you request otherwise. Fresh towels or further beverage making items will be available on request.
Guest access
We provide one parking space for your car on our private car park by our house. The room is situated on the first floor. There are 20 steps up to the front door, and the room is just inside the house off the entrance hall, An added bonus for your privacy. Room and front door key provided.
