- "What to say really, nice and welcoming, rooms are nice and presentable, good to have thing planned as they do go into the rooms to clean and so on, little mini fridges in rooms with chilled water and a small milk, kettle with tea and coffee and so on. Nice throwback to the days of B&B, Breakfast is more filling than you think, dining room is also the bar, not that we used it but looked quaint enough. Food is cooked fresh that morning and do try to accomodate most requests. The biggest issue, especially when travelling is parking, as there's no parking. Its located on possibly the last free to park area in Paignton so fills up quickly, paid spaces down the road however and isnt overly expensive to park for the day if you can get a space. If you can plan activities over not using a vehicle and can leave it parked then ideal! "

Our house backs onto the historic Oldway Mansion and gardens, former home of Issac Singer, the inventor of the Singer sewing machine. It's only a 10 minute walk to Paignton town centre, beach and pier, but with local shops only a minute away.

Our guests will have a bright spacious double bedroom, with use of 2 shared bathrooms, plus you're welcome to use the kitchen, lounge and garden.

The space
Our home is a detached dormer bungalow on the main road between Torquay and Paignton town centre. The double room is on the ground floor, with a shared bathroom, shared kitchen and shared living room also on the ground floor. There is also a shared bathroom on the first floor and an enclosed back garden which guests can also use.

Please be aware that the sundeck and heated swimming pool are available from middle of May to the middle of September. Exposed brick feature walls, stainless kitchen units and oak floors make this flat stand out for style with deckchairs situated in a south facing sun trap.

Great access to all transport hubs, town, pubs and less than a mile through a park are beaches & coastline walks.

**The sofa bed is in keeping with the retro theme of the flat. With that in mind, it is not a modern full size sofa bed. It's probably more suited to young kids and a single adult and ideally not someone that is 6ft**

The space
Compact, retro, stylish & central to Torbay, with a theme to reflect my passion for classic cars, pedal power and music.

There is an unlimited supply teas and coffees including Nespresso machine and pods you’re welcome to enjoy.

My flat has no television, completely by choice. The flat is ideally suited for couples and small families, well behaved pets are permitted.

There is 1 hour parking immediately outside the flat, free unlimited parking also outside but can get busy. There is also a pay & display car park also within a 1 minute walk.

Guests have full access to my ground floor flat with sun trap courtyard.

Other things to note
I have a fish to feed daily. He doesn't bite. I also don't have a television and haven't owned one for 15 years (by choice) and have stated so on the listing so please don't expect one or mark me down for not having one.

Welcome! I have a 3 bedroomed end-terraced house in a quiet location 15 mins from town/beaches.
I reside downstairs & am completely self-contained
Upstairs there are 2 doubles, bunk room, loo, bathroom & little lounge (with microwave, mini fridge, dvd player)
All are designated to one party of guests at a time.
There are bus stops very near. We have a pier, geo park, coastal path, national cycle network and leisure centre, supermarket, cinema and zoo. BR train link, steam train & bus station.

The space
Being a nurse I want all guests to feel welcome, safe and happy.

Guest access
Guests can park right outside, come straight through front door and upstairs is all theirs alone.

During your stay

The Burrow is a newly furbished, spacious self contained basement flat with off road parking, WiFi, dvd player, firestick and heating.
King size bed with en suite in large bedroom with additional single bed. Large comfortable lounge with 2 sofas, table for dining or work. Full equipped kitchen.
We are 5 minutes walk from Paignton main centre and 7 minutes from the beach, cinema, coach and train stations. Quiet cul de sac in sought after location linked to the owners victorian house.

The space
The Burrow is a surprisingly large flat, designed to provide guests with home comforts and tasteful design, so that after a day on the beach, guests can relax comfortably and happily. It is within walking distance of shops beach and park.
There is a lovely park just 2 minutes walk away with open space for football a duck pond, tennis courts and play area. Beyond the park is Paignton beach and pier. There is also a large Vue cinema on the seafront.

Guest access
Guests will park on the shared driveway in a designated space. There is a separate entrance to the Burrow with a small outside patio with table and chairs for smokers.
Please note that there are 8 steps down to the Burrow so not suitable for those with limited mobility.

Covid update :
For your safety, Please note that at this time the Burrow will be cleaned and sanitised in line with Airbnb and Government guidelines. This means that once the final sanitisation is completed we will not be reentering the area. A key is provided for you.
Longer term guests can have clean towels and linen but we will not be entering to change the bed or clean again until after checkout.
