It’s a lovely property in a great location but we found our stay in the Studio so uncomfortable we left after only 1 night of our 3 night booking. I promise we are not precious, last year we walked the south west coast path staying in a tiny tent or the most basic accommodation. When we arrived at Ocean View the accommodation was a chilly 14 degrees. The heating control was locked so we were unable to change it. There was a log burner but no logs, information or even matches. We messaged the owners but received no reply (to be fair they said they didn’t receive the message). By the time we went to bed the temperature had gone up to 23 degrees - far too hot to sleep comfortably. Again we couldn’t change it. The mattress was lumpy, uncomfortable and needs replacing. The noise from the family in the flat above was unbearable - it was not their fault, we could even hear the dog’s claws tapping on the floor. We heard every footstep, every time a tap was turned on, every movement - often as loud bangs. We didn’t sleep at all. The owners offered to speak to the other guests when they returned (owners were away until the 2nd day) but we didn’t want another holiday ruined - and people have the right to move around in their accommodation. The property is meant to be soundproofed but this absolutely wasn’t our experience. The owners need to stay in the studio for a while and experience it. We have never left a holiday early before."

The apartment was clean, very well-equipped, and just what we needed for a relaxing break and recharge of batteries. We had made the decision to eat in most nights as having busy days and tired children in restaurants would not be relaxing. Being able to cook family meals easily was great. Our 18 foot shepherds hut is set in a wooded glade offering plenty of space to unwind and relax in perfect solitude.

Surrounded by National Trust farmland the hut offers a secluded luxurious and stylish rural escape and yet is only 5 minutes walk to restaurants, pubs, the beach and South West Coast Path.

Ideal for a romantic break for both summer and winter stays the small but perfectly formed hut has an electric wood burner style stove inside and a fire pit outside to keep you warm and cosy.

Park in your dedicated parking space adjacent to the meadow, then walk up some steps, open the gate and you will find your own private slice of Cornish countryside waiting for you.

Inside the hut has a shower room with walk in shower, proper flushing toilet and heated electric towel rail.

There is a hand made solid wood kitchen with belfast sink, induction hob, fridge, kettle and toaster. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a romantic supper at the tiny fold down dining table. (folding chairs are stored next to the bed)

There is a sumptuous double bed with storage underneath and dressing gowns to borrow. There is a wall mounted 25 inch Smart TV (only internet tv- iplayer, itv hub, netflix etc) There is a very realistic electric wood burner style stove which soon heats up the hut.

We supply lovely bedding and luxury towels and robes.

Outside on the paved patio you will find a large corner sofa and dining table with a fire pit/ barbeque for alfresco lunches and dinner under the stars.

The hot tub is wood fired and well worth the effort of getting it going! It has LED lights for an evening soak. Logs to heat the tub once per day are included in the price- if you want to use it twice per day logs are charged at £10 per bag. The heat in the tub lasts for up to 12 hours depending on the season. At night you can lie back and hear owls in the trees around you as you star gaze. By day the air is filled by bird song.

Just beyond the hut, a few steps lead up to a wooded glade- again totally private to you- with a stream at the bottom and a pond.

As you have so much space to yourself, you could easily spend all your time around the hut, or you can enjoy all of Polperro has to offer just a short downhill walk away. (Please note that the walk back is steep in places so is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.)

The hut genuinely offers the best of both worlds for those looking for a rural glamping escape yet with easy walking access to beaches, pubs and restaurants. You have miles of the South West Coat path just a few minutes walk away, you can swim in the natural pool nearby or sunbathe on Polperro beach- all without having to use your car to get there. Other beaches are just a 5 minute drive (or 40 minute walk) away.

The hut is totally private. You have the paved garden the hut stands in plus a wooded glade all to yourselves!

On arrival the property matched the pictures and description, also a lovely welcome from the owner, along with some baked treats, which were a lovely touch. The Shepherds Hut has been completed to a high standard and we had all we needed for a week. There is a lot of wildlife to observe, lots of bees in the wild flowerbeds, and we even saw some deer on our last day in the field opposite. You have your own privacy and seclusion, which is great for night time star watching in the hot tub. However should you need anything during your stay the owners are very responsive and helpful. It is in a great location for getting down to Polperro in 5 minutes by foot, and although you can't avoid the steep walk back up the hill it did seem to get easier each day."

You can always come up to the temp parking space for loading and unloading your car as per instructions. - "This is the 3rd year we have stayed at Seahorses villla and it did not disappoint.The villa has been updated and decorated by its new owner James who has done a fantastic job. The villa is really cosy, has everything you need and with great views too! Down on the beach my 2 teenage boys hired kayaks and bodyboards at reasonable prices from the beach shack and had great fun out on the sea. There is also a beach bar and a takeaway if you fancy a bite to eat. Looe is only a 5 minute drive away or a 45 minute walk along the coastal path. 6 miles away near Liskeard is The Adrenaline Quarry and I would highly recommend visiting here if action is on the agenda. Zip line, huge aqua inflatable course, go carting and much more on offer. I booked online before we left to get the timeslots we preferred for each activity. Needless to say I have booked again for next summer. Great location, great villa, great host and great times to be had!!"

Three Ways is aptly named as the position of the property is such that you can see both the East and West Looe tributaries of the river and where they join and flow out to sea together. It is a bright and welcoming house with beautiful views which has been recently renovated and furnished with modern furnishings and fixtures throughout.
Steps down from the parking area lead to the garden which has a small grassed area and a furnished deck which has views over Looe bridge in one direction and across to Looe Bay the other way. In the Summertime the deck gets the sun for the majority of the day and right through into the evening. Steps again lead down to the ground floor of the property where there is a back entrance to the property through the kitchen door. The contemporary kitchen is fully fitted with large oven and 5 ring hob including wok ring, extractor, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle and breakfast bar with two stools (washing machine and tumble drier are housed in a separate cupboard downstairs). The adjacent lounge/diner has a lovely big bay window from where you can enjoy the views and the wood burning stove gives the room a really homely feel.
Upstairs are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom is a good sized room with double bed, dressing table and stool, ample built in storage, beautiful views over the river and an ensuite with large walk in shower, wc and wash hand basin. The second bedroom has two foot six inch twin beds but can be arranged as a king bed on request, again this room has lovely views. The third bedroom has a four foot double so recommended for use by one guest. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, wc and wash hand basin. All rooms are bright with contemporary furnishings throughout.
Three Ways has parking for two cars, an electric vehicle car charger (free for guests to use) and a CCTV camera in the parking area, welcomes two/three well behaved pets and is only a short distance from Looe town centre, although the walk is down hill and involves steep steps on the way back up! The position of this property and all it has to offer make it the perfect holiday home for many guests and with gas central heating throughout and a wood burning stove guests can be sure of a comfortable stay all year round.

There is so much to do locally. We are only 6 miles from Looe and Polperro and 5 miles from the coast. There are woodland and coastal walks, the south west coast path and myriad beaches and coves to explore. National Trust properties are well represented, with Lanhydrock, Cotehele, Anthony and Saltram being some of my favourites. The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are easy to reach and highly recommended. Horse riding, golf, and watersports are all available locally. A week is never enough!

Our pretty and welcoming village has a historic pub The Punchbowl Inn which serves food daily. There is a village shop open mornings only and a social venue The Tipsy Cow which has fabulous views, events and delicious burgers on Thursday evening.

This lovely family home occupies a commanding position high above the bustling port of West Looe and so enjoys really lovely views to the harbour and sea beyond. Private parking is available for two cars immediately outside the property and from this level a few steps lead to the terrace which is well furnished with comfortable seating. The views from here are a real feature of the property. The accommodation is arranged on two levels. The ground floor comprises the sitting room and kitchen dining room. The sitting room is comfortably furnished with brown leather settees and there is a 32" flat screen tv with DVD and Freeview, a games console and free WIFI internet connection.
The kitchen diner is a splendid room equipped with a range cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The fitted wooden units are in mellow cream and there is a large farmhouse style pine kitchen table and seating for four.
Upstairs there is as good sized double bedroom with en-suite shower room with large walk-in shower, w.c. and basin. Also at this level is the twin bedded room and the family bathroom. The main bedroom and the sitting room both have fine views to the town and sea.

- "Really enjoyed our 6 days at Bay View 2 the views of Looe harbour were amazing and the walk up and down the steep hills were a great workout. The pubs and restaurants in town were really nice and friendly our favourites were the Jolly Sailor and Salutation Arms. The walls along the coastal paths were really interesting and somewhat demanding especially the walks to Polperro and Seaton Beach. Would highly recommended staying at this property but bear in mind the elevated position and steep walls into Looe harbour."

Woodgate Cottage is nestled on the hillside overlooking the river in Looe. It comfortably accommodates 6 guests with three bedrooms all ensuite, has parking outside the door with an electric vehicle car charger and a patio area and balcony which are West facing so get plenty of sunshine on in to the evening.
On the ground floor is the comfortable lounge with doors that open out on to the patio area, a flat screen TV with bluray DVD and a PlayStation 3 console. An archway leads through to the dining area with table and six chairs. A few stairs take you to the first floor where there is a well equipped, fully fitted, modern kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, extractor, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and washer/drier. Also on this floor is the bunk room with en suite shower room.
A few more stairs lead up to the second floor where the large master bedroom has a superking size bed. There is a spacious ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate shower. This bedroom has access out on to the furnished balcony. The twin bedroom, also on this floor, has again a large en suite bathroom with bath and separate shower and this room also has access out on to the balcony. All bedrooms have a TV with DVD player as does the lounge and with the Playstation as well there is plenty to keep the children occupied on a rainy day!
Looe town centre and the main Looe beach are a 10-15 minute walk (a bit longer on the way back up the hill!); the town has numerous shops, eateries and pubs and the pretty working harbour is a must see in Looe. The stunning South West Coastal path is a favourite with walkers. Guests can be sure of a comfortable stay all year round at Woodgate, it is the perfect spot for a family holiday.

The bedrooms can easily accommodate the average family, and the layout meant they would even suit one with grandparents. Hideaway is a small, self contained apartment, in West Looe. It is away from the roads, tucked away in the greenery of the Cornish hillside. The self contained apartment is on the ground level with its own front door (full privacy), and is light, modern and ideally situated for those looking to explore the Looe area (coast, woods, estuary), and not be bothered by anyone.

Hideaway is located up the granite steps of the pedestrian only Chapel Ground, West Looe.

The space
The Apartment is served with a double bed, with fresh bedding. A cup chair is also provided. The Apartment has its own en suite bathroom and micro kitchen with Microwave oven and fridge.

Hideaway is ideally suited for singles, or couples sharing. The small apartment is also 40 or so steps to the front door, up the historic granite steps of Chapel Ground. It is not suitable for those who struggle with stairs. Trust me. If you don't mind a bit of a climb, it's lovely and quiet up here, above town, with no cars or traffic.

If you wanted do to a laundry wash and dry, the two machines are located in the apartment. We ask for £5 per wash & dry to cover costs.

The Pig Pod is a warm and comfortable bedroom on our campsite including double bed, electric lighting, usb phone charging ports, a kettle and coffee/tea making facilities, a fridge and table and chairs and outside picnic table.
Please provide own bedding & towels, keeps price to minimum. Bedding/towels can be provided at extra cost.

Toilet and shower facilities are on our campsite, less than 40 meters away. Please note there are hot drink making facilities but no cooking facilities. Please feel free to bring a bbq but please make sure it is kept off the grass, a stone slab is supplied for disposable bbqs.

The villa is set into the wooded slopes of the picturesque valley of Millendreath Holiday Village, Nr Looe. This makes it a ideal base to explore Cornwall.

The brick built villa as its own large patio which overlooks the sea and is great for al fresco dining, or just relaxing. Its approximately 200 metres from the beach.

The view is well worth the 60 steps to the villa, the patio is fenced and gated with table and chairs.

The space
You walk into the large lounge/dining area which has sea and countryside views. The lounge as a cottage feel to it with a dining table with four chairs, a settee, two armchairs, satellite TV (basic channels), DVD player and CD/radio player. There is a selection of books, games and DVDS you are welcome to relax with.

Free Wi-Fi is available in the villa.

The modern kitchen has a fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker, cooker hood, microwave, iron, ironing board, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils for up to 4 persons.

There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed (also with sea and country views), the other with two singles beds. The full size bathroom has an electric shower over the bath.

There is electric heating in every room with the bathroom having an electric towel rail. Hot water is by electric immersion heater.

The villa has full double glazing.
The first £10 of electric is included in the price for 7 night bookings and £5 for short breaks. Electric top-up cards are available from an automated machine on site in multiples of £5, 24 hours a day.

Guest access
Dogs are welcome. The site owners are proposing a restricted dog ban on the beach during certain times, although there are other beaches nearby that are dog friendly if this happens. Please contact us for more details.

Fishing from the beach is not permitted from April 1st to November 1st.

There are 60 steps up to the villa, so unfortunately may be unsuitable for the elderly, people with mobility difficulties or very young children.
You are allowed to park near the steps for 30mins to unpack your car, then you must park in the carpark which is pay and display.

A cosy room with ensuite, in the heart of historic West Looe, situated in a lovely 17th century malt house. Access by entrance on first floor, shared by one other guest room (airbnb.com/h/MaltHouse2). Extremely convenient for hiking the southwest cost path (just 150m away!) or just staying local to enjoy the historic town and beaches. We do not offer breakfast but we have a couple of nice cafes down the road, and lots more in East Looe across the bridge, or via the ferry from mid-high tide.

Please note that there is no parking at the property. There is free street parking along hannafore, or metered parking on the West Quay or at the Millpool.
