As we only acquired this lovely property in 2017, there are not lots of revues yet, but from the numerous wonderful revues we have had so far, and with the many improvements that we are continuing to make, we are confident that Little Quoit will be even more popular. With stunning sea views towards Rocky Valley and Bossiney Cove, this self contained ground floor accommodation set mid way along the coast road between Boscastle and Tintagel, with access to the Coast Path and the beautiful St. Nectans Glen close by, has much to offer.
It is bright and spacious and with those breath-taking sea views from this elevated position, Little Quoit is an ideal base for exploring the North Coast. Spectacular cliff top walks, picturesque harbours and villages, Bodmin Moor and beautiful sandy beaches all nearby.
Approached by a short lane, there is off road parking and a pathway leading to the rear door to the property, which opens into the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you would wish for. Plenty of cupboard space, a large fridge/freezer, microwave oven, electric oven & hob, dishwasher, we have tried to think of everything, so you will lack for nothing. From the kitchen window you look out onto a particularly attractive feature heather garden.
From the kitchen you then enter an inner hall way which takes you to the rest of the very spacious rooms.
The Lounge/Dining room is bright and sunny and has a very attractive and comfortable lounge suite , dining table and chairs, a cabinet with books, DVD's and games, TV and DVD player. The views from this room are wonderful, because you not only have the sea view to the distant horizon but can look down towards the beautiful Rocky Valley and Lye Beach and watch the waves crashing on the rocks. Patio doors from this room take you into a delightful double glazed conservatory with more comfortable seating and those same fabulous views. A door from the conservatory takes you out to the patio & garden where there is more seating, giving the opportunity of al-fresco dining if required.
The Bedroom is also a good size and features a beautifully carved oak Four Poster bed, the same fabulous views of sea and cliffs and plenty of wardrobe and storage space. We have also provided another TV. for those that like to watch telly in bed
The shower room is also very spacious, but no bath, just a shower, toilet and wash basin with bathroom cabinet over. There is an airing cupboard there with plenty of towels.
Outside there is a large garden, mainly lawns with flower borders and a rustic table and benches for your use.
We are told by our visitors, that Little Quoit does not live up to it's name, because it is very spacious and we are also often told it is one of the best equipped and, more important is very homely. That is because we have not just furnished it with the bare essentials of a rental property. We have provided much more, because we want you to love it and to want to return. The return bookings, so far, for next year, prove we must be doing something right.

We strongly recommend Boscastle farm shop and the cream tea at Bossiney tea rooms (best scones ever). We were at Trebarwith Strand 3 times without actually seeing the beach - it seems that it is only accessible within about 2 hours of low tide. It didnt matter to us as the weather was too cool for the beach, but it may be important for other guests to know! Altogether a great week and lovely place to stay."

Trebarwith Strand (near Tintagel) is a surfer’s paradise attracting locals and visitors to its spectacular waves and golden sands. Fantastically positioned, our holiday home, Tredennis looks out over it all and can sleep eight in four bedrooms less than 150 metres from the sea.

Designed as a home-from-home, it is regularly used by multi-generational families or groups of friends looking for extra space. Uninterrupted sea views from the 2 double bedrooms, the large lounge / dining room windows and the garden give it extra appeal.

Tredennis is a spacious 4 bedroom (8 person) detached house with its own garden which faces the sea. It has private parking within its grounds for 2 large cars. It has a fabulous open plan lounge/diner with views out to sea.

The kitchen is well-equipped and offers everything you should need during your stay including a coffee machine and dishwasher.

Upstairs, the two double (king size) bedrooms enable you to watch the sea crashing against Gull Rock from the comfort of your bed.
The third bedroom offers views across the valley and sleeping for two in single beds. Our children always argue over who gets to sleep in the cosiest (4th) bedroom which has a bunk bed (and black out blind).
The master bedroom enjoys an en-suite including a bath with shower over. The other three bedrooms share the family bathroom. There is a further bathroom downstairs which has another shower.

The garden offers various seating options along with a charcoal BBQ meaning you can dine al fresco while enjoying the panoramic North Cornish coastline and some amazing sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean.

Bed linen and towels are supplied.

From April to October, Tredennis is let for whole weeks only, Saturday to Saturday but please contact us for shorter stays during the winter.

Trebarwith Strand is an unspoilt cove on the north coast of Cornwall. A small hamlet just 2 miles south west of Tintagel, it has two pubs, cafe and surf shop. The beach is lifeguarded in the summer. Trebarwith Strand is a great magnet for surfers and coastal path walkers. With majestic scenery, high cliffs and rocky coves to explore it's the perfect holiday retreat, while Tintagel with King Arthur's castle, a selection of cafes and restaurants and an old Post Office is just three mile aways over the cliff tops. Port Isaac is accessible via the coastal path for the more adventurous. The area is perfect for exploring the major surfing beaches to the south as well as the open spaces of Bodmin Moor just 10 miles to the east. Although it’s worth checking the tide times as the beach disappears completely at high tide but this means the beach is always clean and fresh at the next low tide!

The Old Chapel is a lovely traditional Cornish family house with stunning panoramic sea views. Five minutes drive to the beautiful local beach, Trebarwith Strand and nearby beauty spots like St Nectan’s Glen, the house can sleep ten people or would also be a cosy retreat for just for two.

Built over 200 years ago, Old Chapel House sits in a commanding position overlooking Tintagel (home to King Arthur's Castle) and has a panoramic view of over 15 miles of the spectacular North Cornwall coast. The views can be enjoyed from the large terrace and throughout the garden, and inside the sea can be glimpsed from almost every window. The floors are original slate and both living rooms have large fireplaces with woodburning stoves. Fifty years ago the house was extended to provide a light and airy kitchen dining area which opens direct onto the terrace and a second bathroom, pantry and utility room. Upstairs the bedrooms are all spacious with large double beds, including two super kingsize.

As you climb the stairs to the first floor, you will enter the spacious and light open-plan living space. Everything is well looked after and maintained to a high standard. Host communication is also great, the information they provide you is all you need to explore the surrounding areas. We had booked as a surprise for my mother's 70th and the hosts had even left a welcome basket with cake and a card! The kitchen is very well equipped with all you could possibly need. 'Pengwyn' - The Pottery - Sleeps two.
This ensuite kingsize room with its own entrance offers the perfect pitstop for walkers, nature lovers or those just wishing to immerse themselves in the magic of North Cornwall's countryside and coastline. With St. Nectan's Glen & the coastal path on the doorstep, journey east to Boscastle or west to Tintagel.

The space
'Pengwyn' is situated on a quiet private lane with no through traffic and only a few steps away from the Glen. Pengwyn started off life as a Pottery, and this room features the Pottery's original stone walls.

Comfort and touches of luxury combine to give you as much or as little contact with the outside world as you wish.

Your room has wi fi, a smart TV (together with access to films ~ Netflix & Prime, and fire stick should you wish to hunker down), a fridge big enough for a bottle of wine, a couple of beers (or water to keep you hydrated on your walks) and a Nespresso machine (and handful of capsules to get you started).

The bedroom has underfloor heating and what we hope you will find an uber comfy king size bed to collapse into after a day of adventuring and an ensuite shower room complete with heated towel rail (towels provided).

Complementary milk, mini cereals and tea and coffee to get you started, plus lots of recommendations for where to enjoy breakfast. Pea barista milk on request.

The room has it's own covered outdoor terrace, which is useful for storing muddy boots and coats and for relaxing and sheltering from the sun or showers in your own Walton Styley swing chair.

Guests have shared access to an outside shower for washing off wetsuits, sandy feet and a hose spray for cleaning wellies.

The Pottery is one of two ensuite rooms each with their own entrance. The Garden Room being slightly larger is available for those wanting to bring their four legged friend.

A quiet comfortable single-room at the back of my house. My detached house is located 10 minutes walk from the centre of Tintagel village and a short walk to beach and coast-path. Tintagel Castle is about 20 minutes walk. St Nectan's waterfall is accessible via footpaths next to my house.
The neighbours are friendly,and there are views out across the fields.
The coast path takes you to Boscastle in one direction and Port Isaac via Tintagel Castle in the other direction. Tintagel has four pubs.

The space
My house is undergoing a complete renovation.
This means that the builder may be on site during the week.
Downstairs there is a damp wall awaiting remedy.
I have a new kitchen. Guests may use the kitchen to prepare breakfast and drinks.
Please note that I share my home with two large rescue greyhounds. They don't usually upstairs. There are free range chickens in the garden.
Its a shared bathroom, and so I ONLY accept FEMALE guests.

Guest access
Guests may access the kitchen to make a drink and at breakfast time, use the microwave, airfryer and fridge. In fact there's a little fridge just for you. I'm working on an empty cupboard for you too!
But cooking meals in the oven is NOT permitted.
Guests can usually use the dining table to eat a snack etc. However, this area is awaiting renovation.
Guests are welcome to sit and watch TV with the hounds. Although they take up a lot of space on the soda. The TV/dog room is also awaiting renovation.

During your stay
I may be able to organise transport for you.
If you like walking then you will be welcome to come for a walk with me and my dogs in the local area, or to come to the beach with us. This depends on my availability. I may be working at Tintagel Castle .
Expect a homely vibe at the house, where art and animals take priority.
My builder is often here and working hard on the house renovation.
Meanwhile, I do have a functioning kitchen and living room. There's a small fridge you can use to keep snacks in. You can make tea coffee and simple breakfast in my kitchen. There are plenty of places you can go to eat in Tintagel, pubs and cafes within easy walking distance.
The sofas in the living room are occupied by the Greyhounds. Please don't expect to get a seat unless you love dogs and don't mind sharing with them. Your room is nice and clean and I will keep the bathroom in a good clean state. But the rest of the house is not B&B or hotel standard. There is a dining room and a big table you can use. However, there is dark damp in this room and so you may not want to sit there for long.

Other things to note
If you are looking for adventure, perhaps on a quest for King Arthur and all you need is somewhere to rest, my place could suit you. Guests have enjoyed staying here, understanding that my house is not set up as a professional bed and breakfast.
The scaffolding is up and the builder is around. So we are keeping it real.
It's a safe, clean and comfortable space to sleep and wash. The rest of the house is not really ready. Although you can sit at the dining table to eat a snack etc.

The penthouse option, however, is to embrace your inner child and climb the boat ladder into the rafters, amid the surfboards, where you will find a double bed mattress ready for you on the mezzanine floor. Opposite your nighttime eyrie a porthole window allows you to drift to sleep with the lights of Port Isaac twinkling from across the bay. In the morning you can take your breakfast al fresco on the patio with the bay door open to let the sea air fill your lungs. You can't beat the super cosy, beach hut vibes and panoramic views of the Tintagel coastline. The smell of surf board wax playfully teasing your nostrils at night is a real master stroke. In fact, our two overgrown children and their ever expanding families love staying in the Shack so much that they keep coming back down to stay - and they seem to expect feeding! So please book in and give us an excuse to turn our vulture-like offspring away so we can live our golden years in peace.
