There were numerous bars and restaurants nearby all serving delicious food. There is also a Spar shop 1minute walk away handy for last minute supplies. The only downside is that parking is not available at the property. However it is a pleasant (but hilly!) 5minute walk to the public carpark, which is not excessively priced for long stay. "

Rocksalt is our lovely 4-bedroomed holiday home just outside Rock on the North Cornwall coast. Built and furnished to a high standard in 2008, the house is situated in a glorious setting with far-reaching views over the Cornish countryside, yet is only a few minutes drive from Rock which offers water skiing, sailing and paddle boarding, the surfing beach of Polzeath and child-friendly Daymer Bay.

The accommodation is light and airy and comprises 4 large bedrooms with 2 en-suites and 1 family bathroom; an open-plan airy kitchen/lounge/dining area which is extremely well-equipped with large comfy sofas, a flat-screen HD TV and all mod cons. There are some great surfing schools. The beaches in the area are stunning.

The position is good for the shops in Rock and only a short walk to Porthilly beach and Rock beach beyond where you can get the ferry to Padstow. The immediate surrounding area is nice and quiet. My one thing to improve it is having the towels and linen provided as part of the rental. We took our own as local rental was a bit steep so it meant an extra bag in the car and more washing when we got home. Otherwise a great place to stay :)"

The ocean side of the house has a glass-fronted terrace, so you can check the surf in your pyjamas or enjoy an evening drink whilst watching the sun go down over the sea. The back part of the living area is wood panelled with cosy furniture set around a woodburning stove.

Fisherman's Cottage is a picturesque and comfortable historic cottage located in Padstow old town. A couple of minutes walk from the harbour and renowned restaurants, including Prawn on the Lawn, Rick Stein's and Paul Ainsworth's, yet in a quiet mews lane.

Completely refurbished in 2021 this is a cosy and comfortable cottage with open plan living and attractive small courtyard. It has dining & kitchen areas and a comfortable sofa and chairs. Upstairs are a two double bedrooms and and a bathroom

Found parking in harbour surprisingly easy if you arrive before 10am or around 6.30pm( although best to drop family home then go and wait for a space)don’t worry though as you can easily park at the station but a longer walk. The Christmas shop is a must! Tesco in Padstow but struggles to cope, small Spar round the corner from cottage is handy for urgent purchases as a bit dear. K Tesco St Austell best nearest Supermarket which is easily found after a well worthwhile visit to the Eden Project. Chough Bakery for pasties and pastries😊.Tarquins gin shop also a must. Cottage very homely and very well equipped, I believe bathroom being updated which would be good. Although didn’t need to use the Mgt Company I feel they are efficient and handy and accessible if required. Overall would love to stay there again and wish all who stay here the very best."

The terrace area at the rear of the property is a great place to spend a sunny evening for a glass of wine or a bar b que meal. Tesco was also a short distance away to stock up on essentials. The only short coming for us was the uphill walk back from the town as I had a knee issue."

Just a 10 minute walk along the clifftop to the beach, and ideally located to explore more of the stunning coastline. We started looking to book our next stay the minute we returned. By far and away the best property we have ever rented. Thank you so much. Our advice would be to book this as I’m sure it will be fully booked for years once people discover it. Everything felt brand new, from the bbq, to the crockery and cutlery (it was so well stocked, everything you will ever need) to the dartboard, pool table and table tennis table. And with the huge gardens it felt so secluded. Beautiful views of the coast and sea from most rooms."
