Mark, the owner, went above and beyond our expectations, both in his communication and his accommodation of our family's needs. This vintage apartment is beautifully decorated---the enormous bathroom contains an antique iron clawfoot bathtub as well as a large walk-in shower. Mark left us a bottle of Prosecco which we enjoyed in the beautiful garden at the front of the property. He kept in touch with us throughout our visit, offering to make dinner reservations if we needed them and was very attentive. This property is bi-level, with two sets of stairs. A fantastic experience--we cannot wait to return!"

- "Lantern Cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. The layout and facilities had been very well thought out. The shared courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun. We were able to store our bikes there too, which we rode on the nearby Camel trail. It was peaceful even though we were almost in the centre of Padstow. There were numerous bars and restaurants nearby all serving delicious food. There is also a Spar shop 1minute walk away handy for last minute supplies. The only downside is that parking is not available at the property. However it is a pleasant (but hilly!) 5minute walk to the public carpark, which is not excessively priced for long stay. "
