- "We were motorcycle touring and arrived drenched and cold well before check in time. The manager couldn’t have been more helpful, checking us in early, finding a place to dry our kit, reserving a table for meals etc. The pub is small, simple and cosy with great home made food. The evening was fantastic as the locals were all in singing traditional songs as this was the night before the Padstow Hobby Horse day (May 1st). Tiny downside was the walls are very thin and any noise in an adjacent room or in the bar below is hard to ignore. Overall, a great little pub with outstanding staff. "
