The cottage is located at Penwartha Coombe, next to the village of Bolingey and only a 20min walk to the stunning beach at Perranporth on the North Cornish coast.

This cute cottage is perfect for couples. The conservatory is stunning, overlooking the peaceful garden and decking area and provides a comfortable sofa, smartTV and dining area. This leads to an open plan 'studio' living area in the old barn section of the property which includes a modern kitchen with full size cooker, fridge and microwave oven. There is a double bed and plenty of cupboard space for all of your holiday belongings. The cottage has a seperate shower room with a modern walk in shower cubicle, basin and loo.

This cottage has many delightful features including a cosy log burner, a romantic bedroom and a modern kitchen. It also has an enclosed garden which is shared with our other one bedroom cottage, The Studio.
An excellent local historic pub serving food is an easy stroll from the cottage as well as Perranporth village which has plenty of options for food and entertainment.
Our cottages are very well placed for exploring; being only 10 minutes from the A30 and nestled in a peaceful valley just outside the hustle and bustle of Perranporth with the sounds of the nearby stream and the odd hoot of an owl at night!
Electricity, linen, towels, tea, coffee etc and fastspeed Wifi are included in the rental cost. Dogs are welcome for a standard pet fee.

Sea Folly is a fabulous beach house with amazing sea glimpses and a lovely enclosed garden. This wonderful holiday home is just a short walk from both the glorious golden sands of Perranporth Beach and its bustling town centre, which is full of independent shops, cafes and restaurants; everything holiday makers could need.

Beautifully presented throughout, this light and airy holiday home features up-side-down living. The first floor features a delightful balcony which overlooks the garden and sea beyond; this is accessed via the lovely dining room where everyone can gather round the large table and enjoy family feasts. Whip up lazy breakfasts or wonderful home-made delights in the well-equipped kitchen; and with the handy dishwasher you will find clean up a breeze. After long days at the beach, come home and relax in the cosy sitting room; the sofa can transform into a handy double bed allowing groups of up to ten guests to enjoy a holiday together.

Three out of the four bedrooms are located on the ground floor; there are two twin rooms, both of which can be super-kings on request and also have direct access out to the enclosed garden. The third bedroom is a double room; all three of these rooms are serviced by the family bathroom with a shower over bath, wash basin and WC. The final bedroom is located on the second floor and not only enjoys a king-size bed but beautiful views over Perranporth, towards the beach and out to sea; it also comes with its own en-suite shower room. Outside, via the ground floor is a lovely and enclosed garden with a decked area, patio and barbecue.

The property has been fitted with state of the art solar panels which are connected to a SolarEdge battery, with such it is capable of producing the property with half the energy needed required in the winter and significantly more in the summer; when coupled with the heat pump and high levels of insulation, the owners have come a long way in de-carbonising their home and taking the next step to sustainable holiday homes in Cornwall.

We had a great time there. There were some issues that would be good to know: The house is advertised for 10 people, but there is only 4 bedrooms, the last couple will have a sofabed. Next to the sofabed are no storage facilities for clothes and it becomes quiet busy in the living room. The layout of the house regarding the bathrooms is not ideal. Making the top bathroom a en-suite bathroom - less accessable in general, while the downstairs bathroom is used by 6 people. The biggest issue was the equipment in the kitchen. There was not enough for 10 people without constantly washing up/dishwasher use. There were no rubbish bags (yellow and recycling) left on our arrival which you definitely need. Pans with Teflon surface were damaged (2 were replaced during our stay) and should be replaced. When raised some of our problems by email the company responded quickly and fixed what was possible. Cleanliness could be improved, esp. around the living area and kitchen area."

The lounge has smart tv with a lovely log burning stove. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, the master having tv and en-suite with large rain shower. Separate sofa/bed downstairs and bathroom with large rain shower. The exterior offers open fire, bbq, tree swings, large sun drenched stunning garden with 4 separate seating areas.
The space
Sleeping 6 people, Seabird cottage lends itself to a relaxing stay. Guests can enjoy the whole cottage, light the log burning stove and relax.
Newly renovated, quirky Cornish cottage, you can expect the traditional beams, thick walls but with the added addition of a modern touch.
Both bathrooms boast large rain showers, great for warming you through the winter months.

it also has a circle courtyard with a outdoor fire and bbq area, there is plenty of different spots to enjoy in the garden it is a great sun trap,
with tranquil views of woodland and countryside, it is a very relaxing place to be.
We have plenty of space to the side of the property to store surf boards and wetsuits for the avid surfers.
We have a footpath from the cottage that lead to the cliffs / or the country wooded path that leads to Perranporth, this a easy and scenic choice,
Walking into perranporth town takes around 20 minuets, " less than 1 mile ". There is much to see and do with one of the larges beaches in Cornwall on your doorstep also plenty of cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops including 2 co-ops for any essentials you may need
plus 3 beach bars, the main one being the very well known watering hole, on the beach dunes.
Our next village is St Agnes, this boasts cafes, shops and beach. A lovely place to visit and only a 10 minute drive. Truro and Newquay are our closest towns, both around 20 minuets and have ample shopping, great for Christmas markets too.
Please note... our lane up to the cottage is a woodland / Country lane sometimes muddy in the winter months. Not suitable for a very, very low sports car, although we have had them up here, normal sports cars are fine, Please discuss with us and we will be happy to help you further.

Seabird cottage is self contained, there is a large parking area to the side of the property which is fenced off.
as you enter through the garden gate this area is all self contained.
note there is 1 security camera that is for the carpark viewing only " arrivals and departures, this does not monitor the cottage garden, this remains private.
Other things to note
The drive is shared by a neighbouring property but only goes past the cottage.
there are many places on the door step for great walks, long and short, coastal or country.
The beams in the cottage are around 6ft2 only in the kitchen & lounge.
Please note dogs are not allowed upstairs and is seperated with a baby gate.. the cottage and all gardens are private.

Our top floor apartment has direct access onto Perranporth beach and the dunes. The apartment has 3 bedrooms sleeping 5 with a sofa bed that can also sleep a further 2 guests. Perranporth beach has 3 miles of golden sand with Britains highest sand dunes!
Watch sunsets daily from the beach with a drink at the Wateringhole - the UK's only bar on the beach.
No need to travel when staying here due to the flat's central location with the town centre and the beach right on your door step.

The flat has 3 bedrooms, one double, one with two twin beds, one bedroom with a single bed and a sofa bed on the landing that can sleep 2 people. There is a dining room with living room combined and a kitchen with everything you need.

The birdsong in the morning is exquisite. It's location is a dream for walkers, runners and cyclists and we'd be delighted to recommend our favourite routes. There's a nearby stables which offers beach and pub rides, and many places in Perranporth to hire surf boards, body boards, SUPs (stand up paddle boards) or kayaks, or take lessons.

Perranporth's is a vibrant village with a good range of services. There is a well-stocked Co-Op and plenty of dining out options. We love The Massala Indian restaurant in Perranporth - The Bolingey Inn has great food (you need to book) and ditto The Miners Arms in Mithian, and The Tap House, Taste, & The Driftwood Spas in St Agnes (all within 3 miles).

The beach is a gentle 15 to 20 minute stroll along our new off road cycling track, or the country lane (or 5 minutes in the car) - perfect for a vintage style cream tea overlooking the sea at The Seiners Arms or watching the sunset with a sundowner at The Watering Hole.

If you fancy a walk in the country, we suggest a stroll to the Bolingey Inn (1/2 mile), or for the hardier, a 3 mile route up Cocks Hill to Callestick Farm to try their award winning ice-cream and meet their dairy herd, and on to Healey's Cider Farm for a refreshing pint of Cornish Rattler. On the way, spot our neighbour's lamas at Lama Lodge, and visit the beautiful parish church of St Piran at the top of the hill. (go straight across at the cross roads by the church to Callestick).

A cream tea will be waiting for you on arrival so you can put your feet up the minute you arrive. We also provide essentials like hand wash soap, washing up liquid and cloths, tea towels, loo rolls on arrival, black sacks, dishwasher tabs, washing powder.

We provide all linen, hand and shower towels and bath mats. Please do bring beach towels.

Information for Families
Perranporth beach has two full RNLI lifeguard cover stations from Easter til 1st November. Lifeguards patrol the main swimming and surfing areas to advise on beach safety.

Information for Dog Owners
Perranporth celebrates one of the few beaches in Cornwall on which dogs are allowed all through the year, even in the summer holidays. Our modest restriction is only in July and August between 10am and 5pm, during which time dogs are requested to be kept on leads when exercised on the first 1/4 mile of sand. You are still welcome to exercise dogs freely before 10am and after 5pm in this area. This leaves more than 2miles of beach as well as the huge dune area behind the beach, on which they can exercise freely at all times of the day and year. As dog owners and parents of young children, we've found these arrangements work really well (especially as our pointer Horace is not averse to helping himself to people's picnic hampers when off the lead). There are footpaths with huge areas of grassland to the north and south of the beach - we also recommend the huge area behind the sand dunes to the lost church which has great dog walking and fabulous views. We highly recommend Perranporth to dog owners for a vacation for these reasons.

Entrance is into the open plan kitchen, dining and living room. The new kitchen is fully fitted with a range of units and appliances. There’s a full size cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine. There is a dining table and chairs for 4 people. The living room, which enjoys views of the sand dunes, is furnished with a beautiful large, leather corner settee and has a flat screen smart TV. The modern bathroom has a bath and shower over, wash-basin, WC and a heated towel rail.

- "The property had everything you needed to cater for any kind of weather. It is in need of a bit of TLC and is up for sale. One of the showers worked with effort but fortunately we managed perfectly with the remaining 2. The beds were very comfortable and all the linen and towels were great. The approach road was beyond being a pot hole more just giant holes but with care were navigated without too much issue, there is still a lot of building work around. The only other access was through the garden and down a number of steps which weren't to much of an issue although we felt that the ones on the garden could do with being re done so that access from the house to the steps is not across wet grass. We had a great time and would recommend for large families as the 2 living rooms was a bonus. Our main issue was that the bins hadn't been emptied so we couldn't put any household or recycling in the bins and had to take rubbish to one of the bins in town. Vanessa was very helpful and apologetic but still not ideal to not have any access to an outside bin."

All the supplied items ( sheets / towels / welcome pack) were of a standard of a luxury hotel..The kitchen appliances were top drawer as were the 3 wall-mounted TVs.
