The barn has a spacious lounge area looking onto the decking where you can sit and enjoy the warm evenings watching the sunset and wildlife in our fields beyond.
The garden area is securely fenced and the car parking area is close to the cottage.
The open-planned kitchen is well equipped with plenty of space to cook whilst chatting with others.
Both bedrooms sleep two people. One of the bedrooms has two single beds with an ensuite wetroom and toilet. The other bedroom has a kingsize bed and an adjacent bathroom and toilet. We also provide a travel cot if you have a baby under the age of two.
We have 2 sheep (our lawnmowers), 6 curious hens and one friendly dog.
- "The property was very nice and quiet for our stay and suited us perfectly as a base for our Cornwall visit. Would recommend thoroughly. The children loved the animals roaming around (especially the sheep). The fresh eggs were an especially lovely touch." - "Highly recommended, well equipped and nice house, beautiful surroundings and friendly hosts. Also very nice for the dog, fenced garden and open fields for running." - "We stayed at Higher Lidgey Farm and found it comfy and cosy. My Mum who uses a wheelchair or can walk short distances found it really convenient being able to be dropped right outside the door. We loved having the animals as neighbours, our puppies loved watching the sheep and the chickens kept coming for a visit. Kathryn was on hand should we need anything and was only ever a call or text away. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. Close to some lovely places but I would recommend visiting with a vehicle because it is tucked a little out of the way but with a car it only takes 10-15mins and you're in Falmouth which is a lovely place to visit. We'd definitely stay again. Thanks for having us Kathryn and family."

- "Loafers Glory Treverva Falmouth Was glorious and lots of loafing, was done 😉 Thank you both for a fabulous week, made extra special with all your little touches, such as fresh flowers, tea tray, table laid, on arrival, milk, drinks, and groceries to get us started, and bathrobes to save us packing. We also enjoyed your CDs as we dined on home-cooked local produce. In August for Falmouth, Tall Ships we had a week of all seasons, glorious, sunshine, torrential rain, storm, Betty, glorious sunshine. We walked to local pubs, the new inn at Mabe, Twice, fab food! including a night walk back around the reservoir, and the Trelowarren. Friday fireworks viewed from PizzaExpress were great. On-board Tall ships was definitely a fab experience (after a 1.5 hour hot and sunny queue). Sad we missed the laser shows and crew parades, which were not as well advertised. Thanks for letting us stay the extra night after the storm. The Sun returned and we had a wonderful day at Swan pool beach. Definitely a gloriously loafing week, hope to stay again in the future."

We are a small farm, now non-working except for a few chickens, four sheep and our friendly dog Meg. The two cottages, Rose and Bryony, were converted in 2011 from former cowsheds by the architect Nigel Stock, and are furnished with furniture from Mark Product - our expanding high end furniture business. The design is contemporary with wooden floors and fresh colours. All amenities are new and to a high standard. The cottages are all on one level with views across fields and each has a private west-facing deck with seating and barbecue. You are free to roam over our eight acres with a stunning view from the top taking in the span of Cornwall from north to south coasts.
Flexibility in accommodation is available for larger family or friends group as we have an adjoining door that will enable you to access both cottages.
For children we have a field with a swing and trampoline sunk into the ground, treehouse and lots of space to explore and make dens. We are also close to many of Cornwall s finest beaches on the north, south and west coasts. The towns of Falmouth, Truro and Penryn are all close by. A perfect base for a Cornwall holiday.

Firstly we hope you enjoy your stay in the quaint village of Rame cross located in the beautiful county of Cornwall. Rame cross is perfectly located with a blend of rural countryside on your doorstep and only a stone throw away from the coast, Beaches and beautiful traditional fishing and market towns.
The location.
Rame Cross is a small village with local post office, shop and country pub and restaurant- The halfway house. However, as previously stated we are within 10 minutes drive from the beautiful fishing town of Falmouth And the market town of Helston who host Flora Day. This ancient festival is usually held on 8th May. A spring festival to celebrate the end of winter and mark the arrival of the new vitality and fertility with the trees and flowers bursting into life. When the big bass drum strikes the first beat of the dance at seven in the morning, the spirit of the day is stirred and the celebrations commence. Couples dance through the streets, entering selected houses and shops to drive out the darkness of winter and bring in the light of spring.
The colourful pageant, known as Hal an Tow, tells the history of Helston with the participating characters singing about the challenge of the Spanish Armada, the English patron saint, St. George and the fight between St. Michael and the devil. The houses and shops of the town are decorated with greenery and floral arrangements to express the spirit of renewal. Flora Day is usually held on 8th May, unless that date falls on a Sunday or Monday, in which case the previous Saturday is taken.
There are also some stunning rural villages even closer, so why not take a visit to: Gweek famous for its seal sanctuary, Mawnan Smith or Mylor with its beautiful Marina. The beautiful Argal lake is also within 10 minutes drive from here and well worth a visit if you like fishing or walking.
Cornwall has so much to offer and we hope you enjoy exploring our beautiful county.
