- "Wow, where do I begin? Sancreed house is truly beautiful. Grove & Pablo have put so much in to making the space wonderful - even down to the scent! Everything has been so well thought through. The room itself was stunning. Somewhere you could completely unwind. Everything you could need was provided - plenty of space for belongings, a small fridge, tea and coffee, a hairdryer and even some slippers which were a lovely touch. Looking out on to the gardens whilst having breakfast each morning was a great way to start our day. Breakfast was freshly made each morning. Mushrooms on toast and fresh fruit with homemade yoghurt was my favourite! We also couldn’t forget the freshly baked blueberry and lemon cake made by Pablo which we enjoyed on arrival - wow! We used the pool during our stay and really enjoyed having access to this space. Thank you both so much for a wonderful little stay before baby comes. - "This gorgeous pub/B&B, The Kings Arms is absolutely wonderful. My partner and I booked a weekend stay here (Friday to Monday) as a base whereby we could easily access attractions and nearby places we wanted to visit ie the Minack theatre, St Michaels mount, Mousehole and Penzance. The Kings Arms is located in Paul and is only a short walking distance to Mousehole. We had come down by train from Newton Abbot and during our stay we were able to use a local bus from Mousehole to get to Penzance bus station where we could also get other buses to other places. The Kings Arms and customers service is outstanding. The staff were very welcoming and very attentive, always asking us if their was anything we needed to just ask. Our room was beautifully presented and very clean. The food is excellent. Lovely choices from the menus and the quality of the food is just fantastic with all the ingredients sourced locally. Overall we were extremely impressed with the Kings arms and we will definitely be returning. Highly, our rating 10/10"

If you’re lucky you can see beautiful sunsets from the window." - "I cannot stress enough, if you have any kind of mobility issue do not even continue reading. The steps to get into this place are quite brutal. I am not unhealthy but getting the luggage in was a little traumatic but if you feel up to that challenge then please read on as it is almost perfect. First impression of the entrance are a little disappointing but walk in to apartment and it feels modern again with more than enough room for 2. There was a little welcome package which was a nice touch with scones, jam etc but then you see the view from the bay window and everything is forgotten. All 5 windows open and all you can hear is the waves way down below with a stunning view. I would highly recommend the coastal path walk over to lands end taking the steps up to access it. It only takes about half an hour and the scenery is breathtaking in places. In the day we went to St Ives, Penzance, Newquay and padstow. All within a 40 min drive. It was cloudy every evening so didn’t get to see a sunset properly or the stars at night but I would love to return to see it. I should mention parking. You can offload luggage from above but is not really easier and no real parking. From below in 4 nights I did manage to park in the residents only parking for 1 night. The other 3 cost £9 but seem very safe. The no over night parking refers to camper vans only. If you do go out in the day check you have everything from the car before you go up for the night. You only want to climb them steps once"
