We set out to create a modern, fully equipped, dog friendly, comfortable three bed bungalow, perfect for a family beach holiday in the summer or a Cornish escape in the Spring or Autumn.

The property is located in a quiet cul de sac location and a short (level) walk to the centre of the St Merryn village. Linen and towels for up to six people are included in the price, and all beds will be made up prior to your arrival. An open plan kitchen/dining area with bi fold doors extends onto a patio area and into a well kept, lawned garden. There are two recently refurbished bathrooms (one en suite), as well as a cloakroom (off the kitchen), and a wet room area in the garage. The wet room area allows sand to be washed off surfers and their dogs before entering the house. We recently installed a 7.4kW Easee Electric Vehicle charger to avoid you having to search for an available and working public charger whilst on holiday. We charge £25 per week for unlimited use of the EV charger during your stay.

We have installed a wood burner in the lounge for the colder nights. One small or medium sized, well behaved dog is permitted - extra charges apply. We have a seven day minimum stay at most times of the year, with a Saturday changeover. Both the minimum stay and the changeover day may be changed where we have late availability. Free broadband and wifi with unlimited usage is available throughout, with HD TVs in the lounge and kitchen. Plenty of parking is available.

It is a short walk to the centre of St Merryn village where you will find (amongst other things) a convenience store, a surfer's store, Chinese and fish and chip takeaways, Rafferty's restaurant, a Malcolm Barnecutt's bakery, the Farmers' Arms pub and a petrol station. Rick Stein's Cornish Arms pub/eatery is a five minute walk in the direction of Padstow, plus it's a short drive to the many fantastic beaches in this part of Cornwall. Our favourite beaches are Treyarnon (particularly good for body boarding when the tide is coming in), Constantine (great for early morning and evening walks), Harlyn Bay, Trevone and Tregirls/Hawkers Cove (accessed by walking north out of Padstow, past the war memorial)

There are lots and lots of other fantastic things to do in the area, including the karting circuit and Kernow chocolate shop at St Erval, the national lobster hatchery in Padstow, Camel Creek adventure park near Wadebridge, the birds of prey centre in St Columb, Flowrider watersports at St Columb Major, surfing tuition at Harlyn Bay, making your own glass sculptures at Jo Downs (Launceston) and the Atlantic Glass Studio (Bude), cycling to Wadebridge (and if you have the energy, Bodmin) along the Camel estuary (bikes can be hired at the start of the trail) and vineyard tours and wine tasting at Trevibban Mill (St Issey) and Camel Valley (between Wadebridge and Bodmin). We have done them all!

Where holiday arrangements had to be changed during periods of COVID lockdown, we offered either a full refund or the ability to transfer the booking (at no extra cost) to later in 2020 or into 2021.

Brambles is very much a family home. The house with its large rooms is extremely well equipped. There is a comfortable lounge with SKY TV. There is also a large kitchen-diner/garden room.. It is situated in a close of 5 similar houses set back from the road. The owners live in a small attached annexe which is completely self contained and private from the main house. The other end of the property is occupied by the owners daughter. This property is also completely self contained and separate. The location is peaceful and well away from the holiday traffic but still within a short distance of all amenities and 7 local beaches.( 2 miles)
As well as the reception room and Kitchen/diner/Garden Room with utility area, there are 2 bedrooms (1 Kingsize & 1 Twin) both with wash hand basins, Separate Bathroom including shower over bath, separate Shower and separate Toilet and a downstairs cloakroom.
The rear garden is fully enclosed. Well behaved and fully house trained dogs are very welcome.

Blue Waves is a detached bungalow, one of a small number of properties in Southway, about seven minutes walking distance of the attractive sandy beach at Trevone Bay. The bungalow sits on a good sized plot with four bedrooms and an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. In the last six months, it has undergone a major extension which has added a further bedroom, 2nd bathroom, and utility room to the house. There is gas-fired central heating, double glazed windows and also a woodburner. The garden comprises private enclosed lawns gardens to the front and side - the sun rises over the front of the house and sets by the side, guaranteeing lots of bright light! The garden is enclosed by mature hedges, and has a metal gate to driveway, attached single garage and parking for 2 cars. Trevone has a spectacular beach, lovely cliff walks, beach shop and café, plus a Rick Stein’s farmshop only three minutes’ walk away from Blue Waves – newspapers, croissants, fresh bread, local meat and fish produce can be purchased here. The stunning Harlyn Bay is within easy walking distance via the coastal path, and the famous Harbour town of Padstow is only 1 ½ miles away. It is famous for many quality restaurants, excellent shopping, art shops, as well as amenities, fishing and other water sports. Blue Waves is toasty warm, extremely comfortable, and has a bath and a lovely hot shower!
While the bungalow accommodates 8 guests, we are a dog-friendly family so are happy with the idea of a well-behaved ninth guest with a waggy tail…!

Situated in the heart of Constantine Bay, famous for its beautiful surfing beaches (10 minutes walk) and Championship golf course (1 minute walk) at Trevose. The Trevose Golf and Country club also has two other courses, tennis court, two paddle tennis courts, swimming pool and massage and beauty. Skeabost is extremely bright and comfortable and has four bedrooms, sleeping 8:- Master bedroom double (king size) bedroom with ensuite, double (super king size or twin bed (zip and link)) with ensuite, 1 twin or super King sized bed (zip and link) and 1 twin bedroom. There is also a recently refurbished family bathroom (bath and shower), a well equipped kitchen, living room with TV, dinning/conservatory, Kids TV room with a 55 inch TV, ample parking and spacious, sunny gardens to the front and back surrounded by hedges which ensure complete privacy. Gardens are fenced and secured making them safe for dogs. Outside shower. There is an excellent food shop in the village and Padstow, St Merryn and Watergate Bay are close by.

Treall is a much loved family holiday home that has been rebuilt in 2022. The house is in a perfect location - 7 minutes walk to Constantine Bay Beach in one direction and 7 minutes walk to Trevose Golf Club, in the other. Constantine Bay stores is on the way to the golf club where you can find all the provisions you need.

A garden surrounds the house and is safely enclosed by hedges and a front gate. There is parking for up to four cars at the front of the house and a nice flat lawn at the back for barbecues and garden games.

The house sleeps 10 - upstairs the master bedroom with a super king bed has an en suite bathroom as well as a second bedroom with a king size bed also with en suite bathroom.

The large landing area has a wonderful picture window looking out to Trevose Head. This is a perfect, peaceful, ‘working from home’ space. There is a desk as well as a sofa with a coffee table.

Downstairs there is a bedroom with a king size bed with en suite bathroom and two twin bedrooms that share a large family bathroom.

A large entrance hall leads off to a cloakroom and a utility room. A modern and bright open plan kitchen with a dining area and table that seats 10 looks out to large sliding doors and a feature window.

A further seating space of two sofas with coffee table next to the sliding doors leads to the garden terrace. A Broil King gas barbeque is in place for cooking and an outside shed at the end of the garden for storing surf boards.

There is also a separate sitting room, with two large sofas and armchairs. A second terraced seating area leads off from the bi fold doors from the kitchen.

Set in the beautiful village of Constantine Bay, Beach Boys is a stunning modern glass fronted house completed in July 2017 with beautiful sea views across the blue azure waters of Constantine Bay and Booby's Bay beyond. The house comes complete with a bubbly jacuzzi, a new Paramount Luxe Mirror Heated pool; 8500 x 3700 x 1500mm - open mid May to Mid Sept (weather permitting) located within a south facing courtyard together with loungers and an outside dining table and chairs. Last but not least, a huge trampoline dug into the garden for adults and children alike. Enjoy the breath taking sunsets dining from the comfort of your chair in the conservatory dining area or just sitting with a glass of wine in the living room.

There are two balconies which command the sun throughout the day so take the opportunity in the morning to enjoy a lovely cup of coffee on the front garden side balcony whilst sitting on the lovely outdoor furniture located there.

The impressive white modern kitchen boasts a 3.1 metre island complete with integral hob and extractor fan. There are two fridges and a freezer, a Nespresso machine, toaster, microwave and every cooking utensil and dish you could wish for ! Champagne, tumbler, wine and Gin glasses provide a suitable home for every drink you may desire ! In the utility area downstairs there is yet another huge double fridge freezer to chill your drinks and also plastic wine glasses, tumblers, plates and bowls for the outside pool area.
The garden is completely enclosed and has a large trampoline sunk into the ground. Access is permitted through a coded pedestrian gate and double gates for cars. Parking for around 3/4 cars.

The local village shop 1 minute away and the famous Trevose Golf and Country Club only a 2 minute walk away, which boasts a large outdoor heated pool complete with sunbathing area that is open to non residents for a small fee per person. The Golf Club also hires out tennis courts and equipment to non members again for a small fee.

Tresita is a very comfortable seaside home providing the ideal place for a family holiday. It is equally attractive to those wanting to spend time on the golf course or walking along the wonderful coastal paths. It's therefore ideal for all generations! With plenty of space inside for those occasional rainy days, there's room outside for playing cricket, ping pong, boules etc - or just relaxing on the sunbeds! It is wonderfully peaceful, being in a private road, but has the advantage of being within walking distance of the golf club and beaches. The accommodation consists of 4 double bedrooms, a very large kitchen/dining area looking out onto the garden and a large sitting room, not forgetting the good sized porch ideal for storing shoes/beach gear etc and a large hall. (Golf clubs can be stored in the bespoke storage unit in the garage.) Two of the double bedrooms have zip and link beds allowing double or twin beds to be made up. A third bedroom has twin beds and the fourth bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds - so it caters for a maximum of 9/10 guests (assuming that a couple of them are children). The bungalow is well planned with the bedrooms being set apart from the living area so sleeping children will not be disturbed. The kitchen is superbly equipped and with views onto the fields beyond, it's almost a pleasure to have to cook on holiday! There is a separate utility room off the kitchen housing a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer plus airing cupboard so there is never any problem in drying those rain/sea soaked clothes. The garden is a good size, on two levels. The terrace outside the kitchen has a table and chairs (plus sun umbrella if required) and during the summer, there's a ping pong table for the use of guests. The garden shed (and the hall cupboards) contains a variety of games and outside sporting equipment, as well as a barbecue. From what our guests have written in our Visitors' Book, Tresita meets everyone's requirements!
