My wife and I have lived in this house in Brookfield for over 30 years. We are a five minute walk from the centre of Highworth. The Saracens Head is a very popular venue for diners and is located in the Market Square.There is a choice of two Indian Restaurants and an Italian Restaurants nearby. It is a great location for visiting the Cotswolds, Oxford, Bath, Avebury and Stonehenge. Our house is in a quiet area and has 3 bedrooms available for Bed & Breakfast. There is a double ensuite with a double bed. A double room with bunk beds and a single bed. Also a small room with a single bed. The rates for the en suite is £28 for a single person and £20 each for extra guests.There is a separate bathroom for guests staying in the double room. A continental breakfast is served each morning between 7-9 am.

It is expected that your profile picture is a good likeness of you to enter our home and this is a requirement of entry. No one other than the person booked will have any access to our home. Should you wish to check in early or check out late this can be arranged on a booking by booking basis depending on room use either side of your stay and must be requested. Night shift workers wanting to sleep during the day must book 2 nights.

As a semi-retired couple we are often available more than most. My partner works a zero hours contract and is available most early mornings from about 6am (if not before).

The house is in a very quite cul de sac road but very close to all services by a short walk. Town centre is easily accessible by car, taxi and bus.

The Cottage in the landscaped grounds of Nell House is a beautiful oak framed conversion sleeping 4, in two bedrooms with two shower rooms.
It is located on the edge of the small and peaceful country village of Hannington in the South Cotswolds where the counties of Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire meet.
The village has a "pub" within walking distance and is a great base for exploring the Cotswolds in your car. It is a 90 minute drive from Heathrow Airport.

The space
The cottage has an open plan kitchen living area on the ground floor, with a well equipped kitchen including dishwasher and microwave, and a seating area including two sofas and large TV. There is a twin bedroom on the ground floor as well as a toilet and shower room. The entire upstairs floor is an en-suite double bedroom with separate seating area, sofa and TV. The staircase is open to the ground floor.

The cottage sits in the landscaped grounds of Nell House, with a large decking area, gas BBQ, and outdoor seating for 4. It overlooks the lake and is surrounded by wildlife such as moorhens, ducks, fish and if you're lucky deer and a kingfisher. There are usually horses and sheep in the surrounding fields and often ducks on the pond.

There are extensive grounds including a croquet lawn and many local paths and bridleways to explore.

Guests have use of the entire cottage and share the gardens and drive with the owners family. There is parking for two cars.

Other things to note
In July and August, we only let weekly stays with Saturday changeovers.

There is open water in front of the cottage so children must be supervised at all times.

There is much gravel on the property which makes it unsuitable for wheelchairs.
