Behind The Bothy, through a slightly overgrown part of the garden that we haven't quite started to tend yet, is a working farm. If you're here at harvest time you may hear some noise from the harvesters but it's always short lived and adds to the country feel. Of course if you're here during lambing season, you will hear the newborn lambs saying hello to the world, An incredible time of year to visit!

During the end of summer the garden is full of apple, plum, pear, damson and figs which you're welcome to pick. And of course the flowers are in full bloom and the garden looks lovely. It's not perfect, definitely a work in progress, but lovely nontheless. Autumn and winter leave the garden looking slightly more sparse as you'd expect but with that the walks from here that time of year are stunning with the sun low in the sky and the colours the ever changing landscape offers.

Beyond the farm, and at the end of the garden are sweeping fields with public footpaths that take you to stunning views. Just ask for guidance and we have maps ready.

The surroundings are quiet and there are nice walks around the property and the village (Inkberrow), our 16y/o dog and us have enjoyed the daily evening walk after dinner. The owners (and their family) are great hosts, it's been a pleasure having a few conversations with them during our time here.Inside, the flat is perfectly furnished with everything that is needed for a long stay: kitchen utensils, glassware, etc. The space is very well organised and even if it looks small on the photos, it felt just perfect for the 2 of us and our pets. The converted stables retains the charm it had many years ago. A fully appointed self catering rental, a stone’s throw from Stanbrook Abbey and the Old hills.

From toasting marshmallows around the fire pit, or sipping a glass of wine on the deck in the evening sun, Ivy Stables has everything you need for a lovely getaway where you’d be comfortable for a 1 night stay or an extended break.
The space
Ivy stables is all on one level. It has a comfortable living area with dining room table. The kitchen is well equipped. In the bedroom you will find a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom has a sink, toilet and bath with shower fitted over.

The property has exposed beams and has historical charm.

We supply 1 basket of logs for the fire pit if you wish to use the fire pit more than the one basket allows please provide your own logs.

There is a small BBQ for you to use. Please provide your own coal and remember to clean the grill after.

- "Prior to arrival, I had asked for details of the location and the key safe as it was unclear on Google Street View and even less clear when we arrived. The response from “Charlie” was not to worry but a map link would be sent. As the link to Google Street View had previously been sent with the arrival information, this wasn’t what I needed and incidentally, a map link wasn’t sent anyway. Ironically, when we eventually got into the flat, the QR code link inside the flat provided the information and a photo of the key safe location. For other guests, you might wish to make this clear with the arrival instructions.The Flat is in a good location and the car park across the pedestrian bridge was convenient. The accommodation was satisfactory but some improvements to the maintenance need to be made and a rethink of the cramped kitchen might be beneficial, particularly whilst work is ongoing to the flat below. Also, provision for hanging towels and a larger basin would be helpful in the shower room. The biggest problem with this Flat is the adjacent pub (The Pheasant), which has loud music until after midnight and Karaoke on Saturday. With loudspeakers on the outside decking of the pub adjacent to 26c New Street, guests must be prepared for sleepless nights.The booking process through VRBO was easy and the responses we had were quick but just lacked some thought.Overall, disappointed by the accommodation but not by all that Worcester has to offer."

I am in a quiet area in Worcester. The estate I live on has Canadian names. It is 1.75 miles walk away from the town Centre. There is also a bus stop right outside the door. My home is a comfortable place and you will feel right at home. I look forward to meeting you.

I can accommodate one more guest on a comfy camp bed in the lounge.

Birmingham Airport is a 25 minutes train ride away for connecting flights into Europe.

The Host is accommodating, friendly and when not working will show you around the place. Quiet house and plenty of room to chill.

Guest access
Guests have their own bedroom and allowed access to common living area and kitchen. It's a roomy double bedroom with a very comfy bed. All my guest said that they have had a very good nights sleep here.

I am home some of the time and work in Worcester so available should Guests have any questions they can ring me at any time.

PLEASE UNPLUG EVERYTHING IN YOUR ROOM BEFORE YOU GO HOME.
ENSURE THE WINDOW IN THE BEDROOM IS LOCKED WHEN YOU GO OUT.

The space
Separate entrance through my holistic therapy studio, past the downstairs guest WC, next to the single garden bedroom, up the 14 curved stairs to the shared guest bathroom with complimentary toiletries, bath, sink and shower and separate WC, up the second 13 curved stairs to the other three guest bedrooms. Views of the Malvern Hills at the front and the cathedral and flood plains at the rear.

Towels, refreshments including tea, coffee, milk, water, juice, biscuits and pastries, mini fridge, ear plugs, free wifi, linens, room fans in the summer and hairdryer provided.

You can book an holistic, massage or beauty treatment onsite during your stay.

Complimentary study / workspace available for you to use in my upstairs or downstairs work room when I am not using it.

I can recommend various eateries nearby for a hot cooked breakfast.

I can accommodate up to 7 adults with sole use of the second floor of the property. This is the butterfly room double bed, dragonfly room double bed, family room kingsize bed and double sofa bed futon.

I also have a ground floor single bed bedroom “the garden room” which is next to a separate guest toilet and sink.

The bathroom (bath, shower, sink, sauna) and separate toilet are for guest use as we have en-suite bedrooms.

I have two children so there will be the usual sound of children playing on the ground floor during your stay.

Parking is available on the drive if there is space, or you can park on the road by the allotments / car wash or over the road on Withers Road on Saturdays and Sundays.

I have a lot of mature students staying and I used to be a lecturer at the university so please ask if you have any questions about the university. You may cook in kitchen, or short walk to takeaways and Tesco Supermarket . 30 mins to walk into City or bus stops on adjacent road. I also have a single and double room for rental .

A separate self contained annex space with entrance from shared courtyard. The space incorporates a hall and private bathroom to the ground floor and sitting area /bedroom to the first floor with views of the conservation area and garden lake.

The space
With it's own entrance from a shared courtyard there is a hall with coat hooks and fridge area and door to private bathroom. Stairs lead to the upper room which contains a double bed with sofa, tv, kettle and microwave and also storage and desk area.

Whilst the space is self contained there is not a kitchen although there is a fridge microwave and kettle.
