- "We really liked this guest house. Check in was seamless and efficient. Although the room wasn't massive it had everything we needed in it. The decor was modern. A couple of things that let the room down were the blinds, which didn't block out the morning light and the room was very hot, which would be uncomfortable in the summer months. The breakfast menu was very generous, but the eggs seemed like they may have been kept under a heater for a while. We were able to park outside, which was handy. On the whole this was a nice little guest house & we'd definitely stay again if returning to Weson-super-Mare."

It's finished and equipped to a really high spec but furnished so comfortably that it makes it a really relaxing base for families visiting the area. Jill and Paul are wonderfully warm and welcoming hosts committed to making sure their guests enjoy their stay. Ember Cottage is ideally located as a base for exploring everything the area has to offer - we had trips to nearby Kings Wood, Fort Brean and of course a day trip to the beach with it's Grand Pier. We also enjoyed a meal out to the Old Inn at Hutton which is a short drive away but the stylish and well equipped kitchen at Ember Cottage was perfect for making family dinners in the evenings. Other standouts were the incredibly comfortable beds, the gorgeous sunset views from the large garden we were given access to and the well appointed bathroom with it's shower you never want to leave! The boys were also thrilled to be able to access the football on sky (if that's your thing!) Overall we had a wonderful 3 days and would certainly stay again when visiting the area. Otters' Lodge is a newly refurbished & decorated two-bedroom bungalow tucked away in the beautiful, peaceful Somerset countryside but close to the popular beaches, shops, restaurants and attractions of Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea and Uphill.

Accommodation comprises a double bedroom with double bed and bedside cabinets with touch lamps, chair, wardrobe, cupboard and two wall mirrors. This room also benefits from access to the private courtyard.

The second bedroom has single bed with trundle to accommodate a fourth guest, chest of drawers, wardrobe, wall mirror and touch lamp. Please note that the listed price is for up to three guests. Use of the trundle bed will result in space restrictions inside the room and so there is only a small surcharge applied for a fourth guest.

All beds (including the trundle) benefit from new pocket sprung memory mattresses with Egyptian cotton linen to ensure a comfortable and luxurious night's sleep. Adult guests are also provided with fluffy towelling bathrobes.

The well equipped galley kitchen has a large American style fridge/freezer, electric oven/hob, microwave, toaster and kettle and quality crockery, glassware and crockery. The kitchen is located off the dining area which is furnished with beautiful Jali wood furniture, including a table that seats four guests; and the sitting area with two large luxury sofas, table & lamp, floor rug and FreeView TV equipped with a PS3 (Which can be used as a DVD/Bluray player) and a collection of games. Guests can also use the Firestick to access a variety of TV stations and a Bluetooth portable player to listen to music on your phone or iPad.

The utility room houses a washing machine with ironing board & iron and vacuum cleaner and leads to the fully tiled, modern shower room with WC and waterfall basin. Egyptian cotton hand & bath sheets/towels and bathrobes are provided for our guests.

The private courtyard garden with its beautiful flower border and pots is accessed via the sitting/dining area and double bedroom. Here you can enjoy the comfortable rattan seating with coffee table for three people, with further seating for two people on the Keter bench (which also stores all the cushions). An Outback BBQ is also provided for guests' use to make full use of outdoor living in this beautiful suntrap garden.

Private parking is available for up to two cars at the front of the property. Guests can also make use of the free, secure WiFi. The property benefits from storage heating which will keep you cosy on Winter breaks and window blinds in addition to lined curtains. The space
This 2 bedroom apartment is set on the top floor. This can be accessed via the lift or the stairs. Please beware that the lift is rather snug, this would not be an issue for a pushchair.

It has panoramic sea views in the open-plan living space. It has been fully furnished with the intention of it being for Airbnb customers. The kitchen as of June 2020 is brand new. It is fully equipped with a washer dryer, dishwasher, double oven, fridge freezer microwave and lots of storage! Of course, it has all the crockery, pans, utensils etc that you would need. Enough to feed 6 people.

6 adults could stay here, 4 in the 2 bedrooms and 2 using the sofa-bed in the lounge. Alternatively, there is a sofa bed in the twin room.

The bathroom has a shaver point, bath and separate shower.

Entrance is self-service. Details of codes will be sent at least 24 hours prior to your arrival. You can request them earlier if necessary.

The views truly are stunning and as this is on the top floor, you are not overlooked, rather you're overlooking other properties and the sea.

In the living room, is the double sofa bed, and the flat-screen TV. Sharing the same space is a lovely dining table by the window that extends from 4 seats to 6.

The kitchen is fully-equipped, so if you feel like whipping yourself up a meal, feel free to help yourself to all the provided utensils and appliances.

There are 2 bedrooms, and they are both a very good size. You'll find in each room, a double bed that's been fitted with hotel-quality linens.

There is also a lovely bathroom where you'll find we have provided fresh towels and free eco-friendly toiletries for your convenience.

In our home, your health comes first. We follow an enhanced cleaning protocol, with professional cleaning, and strategic disinfection.

A quiet neighbourhood with lovely neighbours; it's generally quite peaceful here despite being so central. There is a park only a 5-minute walk away, the seafront is about a 10-minute walk away, 5 mins drive from the Weston General Hospital, 16 minutes to the train station and 23 mins to the town centre.

Close by are two convenience stores and several takeaway establishments.

Most of Weston-super-Mare is walking distance.
However bus stops are found near by to the Property and the train station is 20 min walk away.

This is a self check-in property and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check-in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time.

Also, we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). For security purposes, there may be an additional cost to replace the locks. So, please keep your keys safe :)

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.) we fully reserve the right to charge a £300 GBP smoking fee, at minimum.

We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. Local authorities may also be present (if required).

Reconnect with nature in our peaceful setting, featuring modern amenities and a warm fire pit for unforgettably relaxing evenings. Guests have the entire space to themselves, aside from our friendly horses and sheep, who share the meadow and add to the countryside charm.

The space
Welcome to Green Gate Meadow, a charming 4-acre animal haven where you'll share the space with our lovable residents: two gentle horses and four friendly sheep. Our family, consisting of myself, "horse lady" (aka Mom), and Dad, is often on-site a few times throughout the day and we are all happy to chat or lend a hand, ensuring your stay is delightful and stress-free.
If you interact with the animals please be mindful and do so at your own risk. they potentially can be unpredictable (as they are animals). Approach them gently and with care! To keep everyone safe and secure, please drive carefully and remember to close the gates behind you. Our off-grid plot boasts a cozy 5m bell tent, complete with a double bed for you and your partner and an optional fold-out single bed.

Unplug and reconnect with your roots in nature as you recalibrate in this serene, peaceful setting, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the occasional breath taking sunset by the fire.
While we don't offer internet access due to the lack of power, embrace this opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle chaos of modern life and immerse yourself in the divine beauty of the great outdoors. You'll have access to a fully flushing toilet, hot (or cold!) shower, and a sink. In addition, our converted stable provides a fully insulated space for cooking on the gas hob, brewing coffee and tea, or engaging in a friendly game of chess or cards.
Experience the warmth and tranquillity of Green Gate Meadow, where lasting memories are just waiting to be made.

Bedding & Towels:
For one-night or two night stays, only a clean fitted sheet will be provided. Guests must bring their own bedding (duvet, duvet cover, pillows, and pillowcases) as well as towels. This is to reduce strain on my washing machine, as frequent one-night turnovers create excessive laundry.
For stays of three nights or more, I will provide full bedding and towels at no extra cost.
Please ensure you bring what you need if staying for just one or two nights, as I will not be able to provide bedding or towels on arrival, however it can be prearranged at an extra cost during booking. Looking forward to hosting you!

Guest access
Guests have full access to the bell tent and surrounding meadow, ensuring a private and peaceful stay. The space includes a dedicated shower, toilet, and cooking facilities for your convenience. You’re free to explore the field, relax by the fire pit, and enjoy the countryside surroundings.

You can park right next to the tent for easy offloading. I do ask that you shut the gate to the portioned-off area where the tent is to help keep the space secure and undisturbed.

Please note that our friendly horses and sheep also share the meadow, so you may see them grazing nearby. For added peace of mind, we have a 24-hour security camera on-site.

* We don't have power on site, so therefor we have no wifi or places to charge. However the 4G/5G connection is usually pretty strong, and if you want to charge your device you can always bring a portable charger or charge in your vehicle.
* You may want to bring a hot water bottle with you for slightly chillier evenings as we get later into the year.

Three lovely, light and airy private bedrooms, 2 private bathrooms with large walk in shower, free standing bath and private living room to rent in large property near W-S-M. There is a large fridge/freezer, toaster and microwave. There is free parking and free tea and coffee, WIFI with TV with free Netflix. The house is located 10 minutes from the the beach and W-S-M train station and 25 minutes from Bristol Airport and Bristol City Centre. All areas are deep cleaned in between stays.

We have a dog. Her name is Flo. She is a collie husky cross, she has a lovely character. Happily, she is not a barker. You may meet her during your stay.

There is free on street parking. Should there not be a space available, you are welcome to park in front of our gates, but please move it as soon as a space becomes available 👍

Guests are welcome to use our front garden which is set up with a bench and small table. It's a peaceful place where you can sit and watch the world go by.

We have an indoor locked area perfect for your bicycles.

There is a train track at the front of the house. Your bedroom is located at the back of the house with a garden view.

Currently squatting for free at 20 Swiss Rd are various furry feline friends and all are friendly. Felix is the large lack and White Boy, Button is the extremely daft Tabby and Lizzie is the small Tortoiseshell. All may endeavour to trick you into thinking they're hungry but please don't feed them. They're on strict diets !
Lizzie is generally friendly but is a rescue cat and can be reasonably unpredictable at times ha ha! She is not a lover of anything that moves in an unpredictable manner such as toddlers and will do a Houdini asap. She soon warms up given the correct attention.

This peaceful and centrally-located flat is only 5 minutes away from the beach and 15 minutes away from town centre. Train station is only 10 minute away.

24hr CCTV in front of the house (drive/street overview) and a camera to the rear of the property. Both guest rooms face each other - shared property with 1 or 2 other guests.

Rear facing room with a nice view of the hillside and skyline and quiet nights. Kettle and tea/coffee/fresh dairy and oat milk in the kitchen fridge, help yourself to empty bottles outside your room on the cabinet. If you run out of anything please give me a shout or message via the app.

Proud inclusive property, there is 1 HUGE bathroom/toilet/shower that’s shared for everyone. There is a door handle for Occupied / Free status if you fancy using it.

I own a large collection of clean and fluffy towels. When you use a towel please consider using it more than once to save on washing costs.

[IMPORTANT] Please don’t leave damp towels on the bed. Guests usually drape towels over the bedroom door, on the floor, radiators, or in the bathroom laundry baskets next to the shower.

I have a locals tour guide for Weston-super-Mare, updated for 2025.

This is a shared property and not a hotel, your room and the shared bathroom will have a high standard of cleaning before your arrival. However, the communal kitchen and garden space will not be up to a hotel standard, which is reflected in the nightly fee.

**IMPORTANT** Please take time to view the bathroom photos! Guest reviews are important to me, and I've experienced previous low scores due to some bathroom wall aesthetic damage beyond my control.

THE CAUSE is the connecting property next door, which is under probate. Legal discussions are open to remedy and repair this area. As with all solicitors and UK legal cases, the process is very slow; it's now 4 years since the process began.

PLEASE do bear this in mind when we have our welcome walk-through upon check in.

Luggage drop off possible - please message at least 48 hours in advance of check in date and mention this in your initial message if possible.

Should you have any tiny issue please do feel confident to communicate over the app or in person.

Please have every confidence to message me or discuss in person if another guest is causing you issues, as a shared property there is a strong chance the room opposite you will also be booked.

Free on street parking, there maybe on-property parking depending on your vehicle size and skills, during Bank Holidays and events weekends please be aware some road closures may be planned. Check online

During your stay
I try to respond to booking requests ASAP, please share the reason for your stay.

Usually I work from home in the dining room / office. No kids so the house is usually pretty quiet, ideal for business or to relax in private.

Government issued ID is required on your verification, I will ask for the photo to be uploaded in our chat stream, I may also check your ID at the door.

Guests will not be accepted if their ID at check in does not match the name on the original booking reservation NO EXCEPTIONS you will be refused entry.

I hang out in the office or cook in the kitchen and always in easy earshot if you have any questions.

Local events are always happening so I can give you the latest news.

Other things to note
Lockable door for your peace of mind. Loads of clean fluffy towels are always available rolled up in the bathroom, please reuse when you can to save on laundry costs

Tea / Coffee - There is a kettle in your room. Free dairy or oat milk in the kitchen fridge for tea and coffee (not cereal or bulk use!). Hairdrier is in the bedside cabinet. Safety card is on the front of your laminated guest guide.

There is a small folding table and chair if you prefer to use a laptop whilst seated.

I don't allow pets (cat in residence) or children under the age of 13.

The cat - Ozzy - is super extra friendly so if you leave your bedroom door open he may visit for cuddles on the bed.

He loves chin scratches :)

I don't allow pets or children under the age of 13 nor tolerate unwanted personal advances. If you own a mountain bike or moped/motorbike I have a safe space round the rear of the property with 24hr CCTV for moped/motorbikes or a small car.
