I have nothing bad to say about the property itself, however, the hundred cats next door fighting and defecating everywhere was not pleasant (very smelly), however, no fault of the owner of the cottage. Lovely to meet Henry too, my son now wants to buy your house 😆 " - "Pleasantly suprised as to the quality of the accommodation, especially being familiar with Weston and was uncertain about the area in recent times. - "We had a great stay at the Old Cottage. It was in the perfect spot for visiting our family while we were over from Canada. The cottage was clean and cozy and had all the laundry and dishwashing facilities that we needed for a 10 day stay with a toddler. Communicating with the property manager was a little frustrating as it is technically run through Sykes Holidays. We needed to adjust our stay and needed to jump through several hoops to do that as VRBO is not the actual rental company that the host uses. Once I gave up using VRBO and used the Sykes app directly, it was a lot easier. The stay was fantastic, the place was lovely and comfortable. I just found communicating with the property managers very challenging."
