If it's been reported that there are any parties or events or noise disturbance then you may be required to leave the property immediately without the remaining nights being refunded. There is a charge of £500 if any evidence of a party, gathering or event at the property have been found exclusive of any charges relating to damages or additional cleaning costs to get the property in good order again. You are required to keep the place reasonably clean and tidy - no dirty dishes left over or excessive rubbish to be disposed of as this is not included in the cleaning charge. The Penthouse is a spacious and welcoming, third floor apartment which is accessed via a large stairwell, and has a sitting room with an open fire and an eat-in kitchen with dining for four. The double bedroom offers stylish decor and feature fireplaces, along with views across the formal gardens to the countryside beyond. There is a further double bedroom that can be booked too please contact us for more details. Guests have use of a private external games room with a full-size snooker table, along with a bar, comfy seating and a cosy woodburning stove. The Penthouse has central heating and a power shower over the bath. The kitchen is well equipped with a freestanding electric cooker and hob, a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. It does not have a dishwasher but with so many places to eat nearby you will be out for supper every evening!

There is a snooker room and bar available for our guests as well as a Victorian kitchen to see! There are large grounds and plenty of countryside across the estate to enjoy with picnic tables set up. There is also a kitchen garden. Tennis is an option by prior appointment. We keep horses, sheep, Highland cattle and chickens.

Steeped in family history linking back to Charles II and containing many artefacts from the Charge of the Light Brigade, Cefn Park was featured on national TV and in newspapers in 2011 due to the restoration of the original Victorian kitchen that had last been used during the Second World War. Last year the Hairy Bikers cooked in the Victorian kitchen for an episode of their 'Chicken and Egg' series. The kitchen is available for guests to see.
