Robin Cottage is a recently refurbished annex to Hewitt House, part of the Grade II Listed Hanchurch Manor (formerly a boutique hotel). Set over 2 storeys the accommodation has its own private entrance. The rooms are stylish and comfortable with views of the surrounding countryside with ample off road parking, a sunny courtyard and seating area.
Designed by Charles Barry (architect of the Houses of Parliament) in the early 1800s, Hanchurch Manor was part of the Duke of Sutherland's estate.
The space
Set in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside with stunning views, on-site we have a cat, dog and occasionally horses and ponies depending on the season. Downstairs there is an open plan living area with TV and log burner, and a modern kitchen with fridge, cooker and hob, and a downstairs toilet. Upstairs are two double bedrooms with en suite shower rooms.
We can provide travel cot and baby facilities upon request. Maximum one child under two.
One well behaved pet (small) is welcome at no additional charge.
In light of COVID-19 we have increased our minimum stay to 2 nights to allow us to deep clean in between guests and adhere to the Enhanced Cleaning Protocol. We have added a £20 cleaning charge.
Guest access
Our guests have their own small outside sitting area. Logs are provided for the log burner. Use of our washing machine is available upon request.
There are great mountain biking routes direct from the house. We can store your bike securely.
Stabling and grazing available for horses and ponies upon request.
Other things to note
Our neighbours have really lovely gardens and fields that look inviting. However, we would ask our guests to be aware of our boundaries and to not access our neighbours' gardens or their private driveway. A map of our property is included in the information booklet we leave for our guests.
