The large open plan kitchen area has recently been refurbished, facilities include a full sized electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso Coffee Machine and small fridge/freezer. There is a dining area with a table which will easily seat up to 4 people. Comfortable seating in the lounge area with a colour TV and DVD player. The wood burning stove is the main feature of this area and gives a cosy feel to the apartment at the end of the day.

Beautiful flat in epicentral Prestbury, one of the most picturesque villages in Cheshire. There are a great range of restaurants, bars and country pubs within less than two minutes walk from the flat.

The flat has a good sized open plan lounge / kitchen with solid wooden flooring, solid Oak work surfaces, modern decor, and plentiful natural light.

Ample parking is available outside or over the road from the flat. The train station is 5 mins walk.

The space
Hi, our guests say it's a cosy, simple, appealing flat, and it's about 100 metres from the center of the village. It has always appealed as a perfect escape from city life.

The flat has around 45 sq m of floor space in total, including space with reduced headroom... Although the flat is designed around minimising the consequence of that in most areas.

Other things to note
Prestbury is at the foot of the hills in the countryside. As a consequence, the TV signal is not perfect, but almost all channels can be received. There are so many nice places around, village life and so many restaurants and pubs on your doorstep, and great indoor entertainment in Manchester, don't come to Prestbury if you want to watch TV all the time...

There are some steep stairs up to the flat. If you have reduced mobility, you may find the flat a struggle.

The flat has 40mbps fast internet and a Roku box so you can stream video very simply. Free streamed programs are available, but if you have a Netflix account you will obviously have a greater choice.

The flat is above a barbershop (hairdresser) which is open until 7 most weekdays nights of the week. One guest has complained of TV and voice noise coming from the barber's, though actions are on going to seek to eliminate all noise transmission. Listening to music it the TV should overcome this noise. Note that as the flat is right in the center of the village, there is noise from vehicles, though this is primarily at the front of the property (kitchen and lounge) rather than the rear (bedrooms).

Please remember to leave your shoes at the front door, thanks.

Location
There is a car park opposite the flat. Don't park on the forecourt outside the physio except to load or unload your car, then move it to the road or car park.

A private hire / Uber to Macclesfield is around £12.
There is a Coop 100 metres away at the other end of the village. Good discounts are frequently available after 7.30! Bigger shops are better done in Sainsbury's or Aldi in Macclesfield.

Kitchen
Please ensure our Oak work surface is not damaged by avoiding putting Hot, Wet or Greasy items directly on it. Please put them on a cold part of the hob or a chopping board.

When using the microwave please remember, don't use any form of metal, and cover the food with a plate or bowl to stop it exploding to all areas of the microwave.

Please cut and chop on the chopping boards.
Please don't put hot things on the draining board.
Please use the dishwasher for all pots pans, cutlery & glasses (except crystal). Please rinse before putting them in.
Please compress your rubbish & I will empty when you leave. If it becomes too much, the rubbish can go in the wheely bins at the foot of the stairs.

The property has a combi boiler set to keep you warm, an oven, microwave and four halogen hobs. There are enough pots and pans to cook.

The Flat is a delightful Grade II listed building, in the heart of Macclesfield Town Centre. It is a pretty market town, in CHESHIRE. It is sited on the River Bollin and the edge of the Cheshire Plain, with Macclesfield Forest to it's East. The town lies 16 miles from South Manchester and 38 miles from Chester.

The flat is 5 minutes walk from the train /bus station, beautiful pubs and restaurants. The National Peak district is just a short bus or car ride away!
