Fabulous, outdoor jacuzzi amazing in the very cold wet weather and the coffee shop catered well for gluten and lactose free options. There is a rustic feel to this apartment and it has mainly been furnished with items made from reclaimed timber which is in keeping with the nature of the property. The large open plan kitchen area has recently been refurbished, facilities include a full sized electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso Coffee Machine and small fridge/freezer. There is a dining area with a table which will easily seat up to 4 people. Comfortable seating in the lounge area with a colour TV and DVD player. The wood burning stove is the main feature of this area and gives a cosy feel to the apartment at the end of the day.

Damson Cottage is one of two Cheshire Hunt holiday cottages in Rainow on the Cheshire border. Damson and Orchard Cottage are the result of a barn conversion completed in 2008. The original building dating back to the 1850's is situated next to a local landmark, the former Cheshire Hunt Inn from which the Hunt used to ride. The cottages have their own separate facilities but are available for hire together for extended family holidays to accommodate 11 guests for larger family groups.

Described by the Peak District Authority as a property of architectural interest, the barn is located on a small track, which winds its way up through the valley, forming part of the well-known walkers' path, the Gritstone Trail. Please note, although this car park is close by, there is a short but steep hill to the apartment, so if you think this may be an issue with your luggage, please get in touch and I can advise on alternative arrangements.

If you are arriving outside of the pedestrianised hours then you will be able to drive up to the apartment door whilst you un-load your luggage. Please note that you will have to move your car to a near-by car park after un-loading.
