- "I’m originally from the Glossop area so can confirm that Park View is in a prime location in the desirable ‘Old Glossop’ part of town, set at the foot of the Pennines. We had a wonderful stay with everything on our doorstep- the cottage is directly opposite the beautiful Manor Park, there’s a selection of charming pubs in both directions of stepping outside the door, there’s a corner convenience shop, a take away, and it’s just a 5-10 minute stroll to the town centre and a good variety of cafes, bars, more pubs and local shops. The cottage itself was immaculately clean (something I’m very particular about!), cosy, has a gorgeous fireplace and a lovely garden. Parking wasn’t a problem either and we could park directly outside the cottage. It really is a home from home and would definitely recommend. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again on a return visit. Please ensure that you read the travelling instructions carefully as satellite navigation systems can be inaccurate. Please be aware to get to this park there is a long single track lane which is quite narrow and bumpy. Please drive with care on your approach to the lodges.

Built in 2018, Shepley Mews is a modern, terraced cottage located in the historic and picturesque village of Old Glossop, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. There is much to do in the immediate area, with nearby Manor Park providing a wonderful spot for a summer picnic. The park also offers bowling greens, semi-natural woodland, a children’s play area, and tennis courts. Please ensure that you read the travelling instructions carefully as satellite navigation systems can be inaccurate. Please be aware to get to this park there is a long single track lane which is quite narrow and bumpy. Please drive with care on your approach to the lodges.

There will be no BBQ’s allowed on park. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Security deposit

Please be aware that a security/key deposit of £100 is required with a swipe of a credit/debit card on arrival. Providing this does not need to be utilised, the deposit will be returned within 72 hours.

Any parties who book more than one lodge will be subject to a security deposit of £150 per lodge paid by cash only. Deposits will be refunded on departure as long as no damage has been caused.

Please note that your hot tub may not have reached the ideal temperature at the time of arrival. You may need to wait an additional time before being able to use the hot tub on your day of arrival.

Set in picturesque countryside with breathtaking views, each lodge is situated well away from the others offering privacy and tranquility. Inside the lodge was beautiful, well equipped and immaculately clean. The hot tub was maintained daily and was up to temperature by the time we had unpacked. We had the added bonus of the company of 3 Alpacas who came to the fence at the side of our lodge daily. Another highlight was helping owner Mark herd 4 of his sheep, who had escaped their field and decided to pay us a visit. We spotted a deer from our kitchen window on our last day! This place is a hidden gem, was such a relaxing break and a complete change from the normal busy pace of every day life. If you’re looking for a ‘get away from it all’ break this is the place and we cannot recommend it highly enough. We will definitely be returning."
