My youngest was delighted by the chicken in the shared garden and kept popping out to see if it was OK! The property manager was helpful and answered any queries promptly. The only issue we had was with the TV but we signed into our netflix account and watched that when we werent out and about exploring this beautiful area."

Walks from the doorstep straight into the Peak District and only 22 minutes by train to Manchester City Centre.

Bed and breakfast at Robin Cottage built in the 18th Centuary. Located in a semi-rural setting surrounded by fields, sheep and horses. The Trans Pennine Trail,(Sustrans route 68 Pennine cycleway) runs by the side of the cottage. The Peak district and its National Parks are located on the doorstep.

Near by Broadbottom only 10 minutes walk away hosts a few take aways, a pub that serves food Thursday to Sunday, train station and garden centre with a great cafe and local produce on sale. Charlesworth hosts a few local grocery shops, a pub that serves food daily, and a horse riding centre. There is easy access to trails and footpaths around the local countryside many of which lead to the Peak district National Park.

Manchester city centre is only a 22 minute train journey away. The city is great for shopping, restaurants, museums, theatre and clubs and pubs.

Combine a country holiday, walking, mountain biking, horse riding or just relaxing and enjoying the culture and the dazzling night life of Manchester.

The closest main line train station is Broadbottom which is 10/15 minutes walk away and a bus stop is located opposite my house. Manchester Airport is a 30 minute drive away from my home. It is also possible to get from Manchester Airport to Broadbottom by train, changing trains at Manchester Piccadilly.

Your 'neighbours' during your stay will be fellow happy holiday makers at the two small holiday cottages on site here at Woodcock Farm. These units are completely separate to the main house, and are maintained by our property managers throughout the week.

Pets:
Guests can bring one small/medium, well behaved dog with them for their stay here at Woodcock Farm. Please note that neither the front or back gardens are fully enclosed.
